Touch Me Slowly's
Father and Son

"How's my wife doing, Doc?" ask Richard to approach Dr. Brian.

"There hasn't been a significant change, sir. Sorry..," said the doctor concerned.

Richard nodded, leaving Brian's doctor with a sad heart. Counting more than two weeks since the painful incident that befell his wife, Amanda did not want to open her eyes.

The crossbred man was still faithfully waiting at the hospital with Amanda. Even Richard asked his mother to bring some of Amanda's belongings, in order to treat his longing for his wife.

Every night Richard would sleep in Amanda's clothes until morning. He even sprayed a special perfume that Amanda had been wearing, which was made just for her. Richard hoped that by doing so, he could feel the presence of his wife beside him.

"Chad," call Tommy just walked into the hospital's VVIP room.

Richard looked up, saw who was coming. "Yes, Dad?"

"Have you eaten?"

Richard took a deep breath, panted with that question for him. Every time Amanda and her family got there, they always asked her the same question.

Richard was tired of answering the same questions from them, and sometimes lied to agree with the words of all of them to be calmer.

"Definitely not yet, right? Come here, eat with Daddy." Tommy was sitting next to Richard.

The man put Richard's favorite butter fried chicken since childhood on the table. The smell of the food was immediately absorbed into Richard's sense of smell. His stomach immediately rang loudly asking to be filled.

"So Daddy stopped by to buy this first new here. Daddy sure you haven't eaten from lunch."

"Thanks, Dad," said Richard sincerely.

"Yes, eat first." Tommy thrust a piece of buttered chicken along with rice on the plate, in front of Richard.

The man greeted her impatiently, and hurriedly ate her voraciously.

Tommy smiled happily to see his successor eat up to three more times. Turns out his attempt to get Richard to fill his belly, succeeds Tommy thought.

"What company, Dad?" richard asked open his voice after the two finished dinner.

"Well, you don't have to worry about that. All shareholders can understand your current situation."

Richard nodded, feeling grateful his father was still willing to help him at times like this.

"Daddy must be tired...."

"No, Daddy's still strong for Daddy's family!" suhut Tommy showed his muscular arms.

Richard laughed amusedly at Tommy's sometimes funny behavior to comfort him, despite the attitude he had been so fiercely opposed to him being a painter.

"Thank you, Dad."

Tommy lowered his hand. "Thank you for what? You're Daddy's son, Chad. It's Daddy's responsibility to make Daddy's kids happy."

"So I'd like to say thank you to Daddy. After I got married and this happened to me with Amanda, I learned that the responsibility after marriage is much greater than still alone. I'm strong this hadepin is also a bit much thanks to Daddy's upbringing. It turns out that Daddy prepared me all day for this heavy ordeal, so that I am not weak and give up quickly. I'm grateful for that, Dad...."

Tommy's eyes suddenly heated up to hear a long speech from his son. Only now did Richard want to talk this whole time with him. Usually they will argue or fight more because of one problem.

But tonight, Richard looks much more mature than ever. Tommy is proud to see the positive change that has happened to his son after he got married.

Given how it happened many years ago, opened up his heart. The man with gray hair could not hide his deep regret.

As a parent, she felt that she had failed to be a good protector for her children. Tommy knew that Richard would cry in his room every night because of his selfishness.

"Sorry Daddy, Chad. Sorry for all Daddy's fault with you. Later if you become a parent, do not be like your daddy...." Tommy rubbed the cheeks and corners of his watery eyes.

Seeing his son who was now very messy in front of him, it made the man's heart hurt. Tommy knows how Richard is trying to strengthen his own heart, waiting for Amanda to wake up from his coma who somehow.

Tommy wants to comfort his son but does not know what to do, he can only give a little attention like this while apologizing for all his mistakes in the past.

"Daddy what's talking, anyway? The language is like Mario shady, ." joked Richard tried to melt the atmosphere.

He knew that what his father had said had really come out from the bottom of his heart. Richard just didn't want the guy to keep saying sorry for something that was long gone.

Richard did not want to remember those times anymore, for him the past would still be there to be a lesson for him in the present. And as children, of course we must be able to forgive all the mistakes made by our parents whether intentionally or not.

Richard wanted to be one of those kids. His Daddy will remain his hero long ago and until later.

"You can never talk seriously!" pissed Tommy pulled tisue on the table.

"Daddy could come here just to vent, anyway. It should be me who needs to be entertained .. not Daddy." Richard chuckled deliberately to make the man laugh embarrassedly in front of him.

"You want to be entertained especially, huh? Have you brought your favorite butter chicken, still less too?!" tommy's lips.

"Less up, I need some entertainment, Dad. I'm tired of waiting here alone" Richard said.

"Yaudah, put again Daddy's order. You just wait."

Richard frowning. "Order? What order did Daddy mean?"

"Wait a minute, tar you will know, too" said Tommy smiling meaningfully.

In curiosity for quite a long time, finally what was said by Tommy came. Several people were seen carrying items into the VVIP treatment room, which Richard knew was his combat tools if he wanted to play paint.

"What's this, Dad?" richard did not believe it.

"It's for your boredom here, Chad. Wear it to release all the burdens in your heart. Daddy's sure your heart will be plump after." Tommy patted Richard's shoulder as if giving a sign that he had supported his son's talent.

"Paint what you want to paint, Chad. Save it and show it to your wife after she wakes up."
