The New President Director

This morning Richard was getting ready to go to the office with his father Tommy. Not wanting a car with a man who likes to set it up, Richard chose to bring his own car to the coal company whose office is centered in this city.

"Good morning sir." said a security guard to open the door for Richard.

"Morning..," said Richard warmly.

Have worked in this office before, making other employees know who the figure of a handsome man with a cross-face.

Richard is welcomed by a woman who works as his father's personal secretary named Celin.

"Good morning, Mr. Richard," he said politely.

"Morning. Has Mr Tommy arrived yet?"

"Already Sir. He had not arrived long ago" he said, walking beside the leader's son where he worked.

Richard had to call his own father Father while working in this company.

Tommy often said that in the office he was his boss, and it was mandatory for Richard to call him so much as other employees.

"What time is the meeting with shareholders?"

"Four ten Sir. Later before the meeting began, Mr. Richard was asked to meet with several other shareholders in private."

Richard nodded and went into the elevator with Celin. Young women look beautiful with an elegant impression and also sexy, looks charming in the eyes of anyone who sees.

She has worked for three years with her father Tommy. Celin also had dinner with their family several times whenever there was any event.

"How are you, Chad?" celin asked approaching the man full of charm.

"Okay sir" Celin said, closing the door.

"We will hold an internal meeting with other shareholders before the general meeting begins. I want you to reassure the people who have supported Daddy at this company. Surprise them so well that they can be sure they choose you to be Daddy's replacement."

"Ok if it wants Daddy. But, later if I manage to get the position .. The first thing I want to do is change the secretary! I can't work with a female secretary."

"Why? Are you afraid of being tempted, hm?"

"Well .. take it that way." said Richard as he is.

He is not afraid, but uncomfortable if you have to work with nervous women like Celin.

Wait... Why did I even think of Amanda? Obviously he just thinks our engagement is boongan. Oh, my God. I must have gone crazy because of that woman, he thought.

Tommy smiled faintly at his son's answer. It seems like Amanda's presence is starting to make Richard slowly change better he thought.

"It's up to you, Daddy won't interfere again with all your decisions once you've officially taken over as Daddy."

Did ya? I hope so murmured Richard.

At exactly ten o'clock, Richard entered the meeting room with his father Tommy.

Speaking with some of Tommy's supporters earlier, Richard managed to convince the other shareholder members to back him forward in place of Tommy in the chairman's chair.

"As you know, I'm going to end my tenure at this company next week. I'm grateful because all this time, we've all been working so well that our company can move forward as it is now. I want to nominate my son Richard, to replace my position in this company. But, as always in accordance with our previous rules. We're gonna vote for this election!" tommy said he was full of authority staring one by one the shareholders present at the rally today.

Richard sat beside his father quietly, until a turnout of more than half voted for him to replace Tommy.

"Alright, because everyone has taken a vote. Today's decision is that Richard Klose will replace my position in this company as chief director!"

A standing ovation was immediately heard filling the meeting room. Richard stood up and slightly bowed his salute as a thank you for the trust the shareholder members had in him.

Richard was given the opportunity to give one or two words, as his first speech was to serve as the new director of the company.

The average shareholder was still more senior than him staring at Richard full of confidence. They believe that Richard is able to take their company forward.

"You're as good as your father, congratulations to you Richard...."

"Work well, we're counting on you."

"We're glad you finally chose to work here in your father's place. Welcome to Richard!"

Congratulations from the shareholders greeted Richard, before they exited the meeting room.

Although he had left the company because he was unable to follow the orders of his father who likes to regulate and does not believe in what he does, but today Richard is going to start proving to Tommy that he can work well. Without having to be burdened again with the authoritarian attitude of his father.
