Chapter 270. Toothpick

Rubby and Wu Jin Ming did not answer Tian Yu's question, they simply gave him a gesture of silence.

"Dad, I feel the stealth air here," whispered Tian Yu softly as if understanding that he should not speak out loud.

Wu Jin Ming placed his index finger in front of his lips.

Tian Yu nodded his head in order to understand.

Despite trying to remain indifferent to the existence of the demon that followed him, Rubby remained vigilant and continued to look around to anticipate the bad possibilities that could happen.

Their streets became uncomfortable. The heart intent wanted to please Tian Yu but instead brought him into a dangerous state. In the human world there are indeed many inhabited by power hunters who target other demons or humans who have spiritual energy. Not to mention that if they were to meet Zhu Zheng, it would definitely be very troublesome.

"By, you take Tian Yu to the playground. I'll keep watch behind you. Let him enjoy the game in the human world quietly." Wu Jin Ming was trying to make his son play happily in the play area.

In the distance, Wu Jin Ming came carrying a large plastic bag containing drinks and some snacks.

"Dad's coming!" tian Yu screeched running towards Wu Jin Ming.

Wu Jin Ming carried Tian Yu sitting on one of the waiting chairs lined up in front of the playing area.

Rubby caught up with the two of them and went to enjoy the drinks and food that Wu Jin Ming had bought.

"Rubby, they're getting close. We must leave this place immediately so that there are not many casualties," Wu Jin Ming whispered.

"Hm." Rubby nodded and hurriedly carried Tian Yu.

Although both of his parents did not tell him about the existence of the demons eyeing them, Tian Yu's sharp instinct could sense that there was a stealth army almost at that place. No wonder his mother immediately carried him and took him away from the crowd.

Currently the three of them were already in the parking area and drove his car away from the crowd.

"Be careful, honey!" Rubby actually wanted to help Wu Jin Ming but the most important thing for him now was to look after his son.

Tian Yu said as Rubby asked him to stay quiet in the car with her. His warrior soul roared when he saw his father fighting valiantly slaughtering his enemies one by one mercilessly. In his view, what the father did was very easy.

"One day you too will be as good as your father. Maybe even better than him." Rubby stroked Tian Yu's head slowly.

"Of course," Rubby replied with a smile. His hand returned Tian Yu's embrace and rubbed her hair gently.

Tian Yu was seen yawning because he had not napped that day.

"Sleep, Honey. Our home is still far away and our journey is still quite long." Rubby corrected Tian Yu's position to make it more comfortable.

Tian Yu nodded with his dim eyes.

It didn't take long, Tian Yu fell asleep in his sleep.

"Thank God our opponent today is very easy to deal with" Rubby said when he saw Wu Jin Ming was calmer after the fight.

Wu Jin Ming turned to Rubby for a moment and drove back to his car.

"We can't be happy just yet, honey. There was one person who managed to escape. He could have asked for help to take revenge on us." Wu Jin Ming spoke in a serious tone.

Rubby understood Wu Jin Ming's worries. It seemed like the enemies he was facing had just been only a small part. Perhaps their clan members would come even more if they wanted to take revenge.

"I understand" replied Rubby briefly.

The mood was silent again. Their car split the road quite solid but quite smoothly that afternoon. Wu Jin Ming and Rubby dissolved into their minds each thinking of things that might just happen.

The car they were riding in began to enter the housing complex they were living in. A strange feeling enveloped their hearts when they saw the originally sunny weather was now turning into pitch black like a storm was about to happen. Tian Yu who was originally sleeping soundly suddenly gasped and woke up from his sleep.

"Are you surprised, honey? We'll be there soon." Rubby calmed Tian Yu who was not yet fully conscious from his sleep.

"You're right. If you have the chance, bring Tian Yu into the house."

Rubby nodded.

Tian Yu indeed did not refute his father but inwardly he revolted. Being a spectator was too boring for him. As much as possible he wanted to try to help his parents fight against the troublemakers.

The three of them went down the car. Rubby carried Tian Yu while Wu Jin Ming was at the very front to protect the two.

"There is a guest apparently," Wu Jin Ming said in pleasantries as he stood in front of the opposing leader.

"Not much of a bacot. How dare you slaughter our clan members and kill our commander." The leader of the group showed his fierce face.

There were hundreds of red-robed demons residing in that place.

"Those who came brought their lives to me as you do today. It's not my fault that your clan is wiped out in my hands because I'm the God of Punishment not the god of forgiveness." Wu Jin Ming was no less fierce.

"Much talk! Attack them!" The leader of the attack ordered his men to move.

The fight was inevitable.

"Speak a lot! Haaaa!" Tian Yu immediately attacked the leader with his energy sword.

Seeing that the leader had died, the red-robed clan member looked puzzled. Some survive to continue the battle and others choose to run. But it wasn't easy for them to run away from there, the unforgiving Tian Yu slammed it all down before they managed to escape.

All his enemies are dead. Their bodies filled the courtyard of the house. There were only 1 survivor, the members fled while the battle was still going on and were terrified to see their leader become the moons of a child.

Apparently what he was afraid of was really happening, the entire red-robed clan that had participated in this mission had been slaughtered except for him.
