Chapter 258. Still Process

The symbol light turned into a red ring of light that circled Rubby's body. The ring of light came to a halt as it aligned with Rubby's stomach.

Rubby is seen grinding his teeth to withstand the pain. Rubby's chest felt slashed even though the wound was not visible. There was only a small slit in his lower chest.

Seeing that the ring of red light had stopped, Wu Jin Ming again extended his hand to take the second symbol.

"Honey, get ready for the third surgery." Wu Jin Ming gave Rubby a cue so he wouldn't be surprised.

Rubby nodded without saying any more words.

The second light symbol was drawn with Wu Jin Ming energy until it moved closer and stopped above Rubby's head.

When the light symbol came down and touched his head, Rubby again gasped at him as if piercing through his body.

The light symbol turned into a yellow ring and continued to move down until it stopped at the same place as the previous ring. The two are together but not together.

The light gap on Rubby's chest became slightly wide. Rubby again grimaced with pain due to the surgery. There is still one more surgery to be done.

Wu Jin Ming again told Rubby to perform a third surgery. Again Rubby just answered him with a nod. The pain that was afflicting him made him reluctant to speak out.

Not wanting to buy time, Wu Jin Ming immediately pulled the third symbol and hastened the final surgery.

After descending past his body, the third symbol turned into a blue-colored ring and piled together the two previous rings.

The light gap in Rubby's chest is getting gaping.

The next stage is to bring out the three soul building spirits in Rubby's body. To remove it does not require a symbol, but requires a soul harmony style that Wu Jin Ming had previously learned from spell paper. Wu Jin Ming began to concentrate on doing so.

Unlike the process of heart replacement, this time Rubby did all the process in a conscious state. If Rubby's heart has not been replaced with Rubby Aaurora stone then the process can be longer. Before removing the three soul spirit constituents of his body, heart replacement must be done first.

Rubby could see every move Wu Jin Ming made. He could also see the three rings of light and all the changes that were happening to him. Rubby stayed awake and felt it all.

Wu Jin Ming continued to perform soul alignment movements. Rubby felt his chest churn and something was drawn from there. The upheaval was felt until a purple crescent-shaped light came out of the surgical gap.

Rubby's heart felt like it had been electrocuted by thousands of volts when the crescent moonlight, the moon goddess's spirit, burst out of his body.

Seeing Rubby in pain, Wu Jin Ming paused to bring out Rubby's second soul spirit. In the initial process, only Rubby felt the effect. They would both feel the unifying effect of the soul upon reaching the core process.

"Are you ready, baby?" wu Jin Ming asked with pity.

Rubby nodded back.

It looks like a tear that is stuck in the corner of his eye because it endures the pain that envelops his body.

From the slit of light in Rubby's chest slowly came out a bright white light that was very dazzling in the shape of a transparent white lotus flower. For this second spirit, Rubby was not as jolted as the first one even though his body seemed to tremble. Rubby always held himself back from screaming.

Wu Jin Ming looked at Rubby and prepared to say something but soon came to a halt as Rubby who had been staring at him had already nodded his head before he said anything.

Rubby's final soul spirit is a human spirit shaped like a yellow-gold marble. This spirit came out faster than the two spirits before.

The three spirit souls in Rubby's body have now been successfully removed. Now it's time to do spirit melting. Before that was done, Rubby had to swallow a soul strengthening pill first. Without the pill, Rubby would not be able to survive without the three constituent souls in his body.

The next process should be done quickly and would also involve Wu Jin Ming as a supporting soul.

In this process, Wu Jin Ming acts as a controller and provider of energy that is absorbed and expended in the process of soul unification.

Wu Jin Ming spread his hands beside his body then took out his holy fire. Hot fire on the right and cold fire on the left. Apparently the fire is also a basic means of soul unification.

The fire would move the remaining light symbols in their tempo and sequence as Wu Jin Ming had to focus on controlling the energy connected to Rubby's body.

The second throw of Wu Jin Ming's sacred flame on the soul unification spell containing the symbols of light rotated.

Along with that spell round, Rubby's three soul spirits moved upwards and floated under the soul unification spell.

Wu Jin Ming immediately changed his sitting position, he tightened his knees with Rubby's knees and also fused their palms together.

Rubby began to feel the flow of energy from Wu Jin Ming. The flow of energy did not creep in and stored in his dantian as usual but rather released out. The energy that came out was radiating and moving the spell symbols.

During this process, Wu Jin Ming and Rubby both lost their consciousness just like when they were cultivating.

The energy of the two becoming one continued to radiate upwards. A symbol descends towards the three spirits of Rubby's soul in a still-spinning state. That symbol is a symbol of soul fusion.

A burst of blinding soundless light flashed as the soul smelting symbol began to touch Rubby's three soul spirits. Explosions after explosions continued to occur as bit by bit the symbol attempted to pierce through the three soul spirits. The room was brightened by the flashes produced during this process.

Rubby's three soul spirits slowly lost their original shape after the spirit smelter light symbol became a rainbow-colored ring circling and carried the three soul spirits around very quickly.

The situation continued until Rubby's three soul spirits completely melted into a form that was difficult to define. Everything was still faint as indeed the three soul spirits were still small particles that spread within the ring of rainbow light. The spin slows down as a light symbol comes back down to take over in the next process.

The light symbol was a soul gathering symbol. When this process takes place, it will require another symbol that comes down, the spirit-forming symbol. The two cannot be separated because the process of gathering and forming a spirit is a process that determines the success of the unification of the three soul spirits.
