Throw Your Ex In His Place !
Ep. 98

“A very delicious meal,” said Dara while cupping a spoon and fork on a plate, then rubbing her lips gently with a cloth.

“You want more, Ra?”

“No need. Thats enough. I'm full.”

“Then come with me.” Ardi took his wife to stand up from her chair. He then took Dara to the rooftop edge of the cafe. Behind the one-and-a-half meter high wall of Dara's net was spoiled by his much-loved scenery, citylight.

“Beautiful,” says Dara amazed.

“How? You like it?” asked Ardi while wrapping his hands around Dara's tiny waist and resting his chin on his wife's shoulder.

“I like it very much. The view is very beautiful.”

“From now on if you want to see the view of the citylight again just tell me, I will take you back to this place. So, I won't lose you again in the crowd.”

“Thank you,” said Dara while on her tiptoes to gently stick her lips on Ardi's cheek.

“Sama-sama, Darling.” Ardi hugged his wife from behind. They enjoyed the atmosphere of the night with romance.

Actually I want to be honest with Brother Ardi, but somehow my tongue feels stupid when I want to say who Kak Farhan really is. I don't want to keep hiding this. I don't want her to know the truth one day and not from my own mouth. I can't imagine how disappointed he is. Lord, give me the courage and strength to say all this. I don't want any secrets between me and Brother Ardi, the inner Dara.

“Ra, later at lunch I pick you up yes,” said Ardi while buttoning his shirt sleeves.

“Where are we going?” ask Dara curiously.

“Oh yes, I forgot to tell you. Later in the afternoon there is a welcome party for Kak Farhan in his office and we are invited. The plan before going to the event we buy gifts first. Later you help me choose a good gift for Kak Farhan yes, Ra.”

Dara helps Ardi wear his suit. “Looks later there I'll feel awkward better I'm at home, don't have to come,” bargain Dara.

“Why be awkward? You are Mrs Seno Ardibratha. Aren't you proud to be my wife?”

Dara shakes.

“What are you worried about? There will surely come also some important colleagues. I'll introduce you to them. So, dress up a beautiful yes, dear.” Ardi pinched his wife's nose.

“All right I'm with.”

“Ok, I'll see you later at noon. I go to the office first. Bye.” Ardi landed his lips on Dara's forehead as a farewell.

Dara sat on the edge of her bed while looking at her husband's back, which was no longer visible in front of her. “Why did when I had forgotten about him now that he came back into my life? When my heart has made peace with the past, but now it is standing before me. What am I supposed to do? I wanted to avoid it, but fate brought me closer to it. I don't want to make Ardi hurt. I love her so much. I just want Kak Ardi who is by my side, not someone else,” muttered Dara.

Dara picked up her phone lying on the nightstand. He pressed the call button on Mas Doni's number. He intends to tell her about what happened the last few days, but suddenly his intentions change when his phone call is answered.

“Iya, Ra. Why?” ask Doni across the phone.

“Ask what? If it can be fast yes, because in a few minutes I have a meeting.”

“Begini Mas, later in the afternoon Kak Ardi will invite me to a welcome party held by one of his coworkers. Before attending the party, Ardi wanted to buy him a gift and I asked him to choose the gift. What do you think I should buy? I don't know what kind of gift to give to coworkers like that,” said Dara.

“Not to be confused. Just buy a watch or a branded bag if her coworker is a woman.”

“So?”

“Iya. It was a moment before the meeting started. Good luck with the party.” Doni ended his phone call before being answered by his only sister.

Dara wore a long, elegant dress in light blue, matching the color of the tie worn by her husband, Ardi. Walk into the room hand in hand. A few pairs of eyes stared in admiration towards them, but not with Farhan. In silence he clenched one of his arms wrapped in bandages. Farhan was very good at playing his mimic, in an instant he turned out to be very friendly welcoming the arrival of Ardi and Dara.

“Welcome to our newlyweds. How's vacation? Pleasant?” sapa Farhan tried to have pleasantries with the two of them.

“It doesn't have to be like that, Brother,” replied Ardi. “As with anyone Kak Farhan welcomes us with such pleasantries.”

Farhan laughed at Ardi's reply. “No. I don't mince words, just make sure the vacation you guys went through yesterday was fun. Yes, even though there was a bit of calamity that happened to Dara, but everything is fine, right?”

“All good. The wounds on Dara's body also started to fade.”

“Happy to enjoy the party yes.”

“Oh yes, Brother. This is a little gift from both of us to Kak Farhan. This special was chosen by Dara specifically for Kak Farhan,”, Ardi said.

Dara handed over the package of gifts that had been in her grasp.

“Wah! I am so lucky today. Thanks for the briefing. Actually you don't have to bother like this. Come and enjoy the party alone I already feel happy.” Farhan tried to take the opportunity to hold Dara's hand, but could not do so because Dara quickly pulled her hand and wrapped it around Ardi's arm.

“May Kak Farhan like the gift from us,” said Dara as she closed her body to Ardi's arm.

“Sure! I greet the other guests first. Ardi, invite your wife to taste the dishes we have prepared for you.”

Farhan passed by without even looking back. Suddenly Dara's ears seemed to be tingled by the voice of a woman who called her husband's name so spoiled.

“Pak Seno! Incidentally, I did not expect to meet you here,” said the woman in the purple dress.

“Sorry, who are you?” ask Ardi confused.

“You don't remember me?” ask the woman back. “I Meli, his secretary Pak Wawan. I am here representing the Director who is not present,” he continued.

An admirer of the umpteenth brother Ardi. My hair felt like it was standing up all the time when it heard its tone speak. Though I whose legal wife alone never called my husband in such a spoiled tone, Dara said.
