Throw Your Ex In His Place !
Ep. 97

Someone knocked on the door of Bratha's residence when Dara and Heni's mother were arranging their dinner on the table. Heni's mother ordered her domestic assistant to open the door to check who was coming. Not long after, the assistant returned with a large box in his hand.

“What is it, Bi? From whom and for whom?” ask Heni's mother to be curious.

“Sent by courier, Mom. He said from Mas Ardi made Mba Dara,” explained the household assistant.

“Wah! What's that about, Ra? Let's open it quickly, Ra! Mom curious.”

Dara rushed to receive the beautiful box from the hands of her housekeeper. Curiosity also rushes from within Dara's heart. Slowly he pulled the blue ribbon that tied the pretty box. Then he opened the box and his eyes immediately sparkled.

A letter with a pink envelope was at the top of the package and a beautiful matching dress folded neatly inside. Dara pulled out the dress with the netra still looking at her in amazement. She folded the dress in her lap and pulled out a greeting card from inside her envelope.

in 1 hour Iqbal will pick you up. Beautiful dress with this dress. I'm waiting for you here impatiently. From the lover of your heart. Ardi, Ardi wrote on the card.

Dara put on her smile as she read the ink nicks in the card. Heni's curious mother with lightning fast hand snatched the card from the hand of her daughter-in-law.

“Mom did not expect that Ardi turned out to be a romantic man,” ledek Ibu Heni while glancing at Dara. “There ready soon. Your husband can't wait,” continued Ibu Heni.

“I'm sorry to go to the room first yes, Mom,” said Dara while hugging a gift from her husband.

“Iya, beautiful dress up yes, dear.”

Dara just nodded while smiling sweetly at her mother-in-law. Half-run he climbed the stairs to his room.

Dara was putting a small earring on her ear when Iqbal's car wheel entered the yard. Ting! The keg! The sound of bells echoed throughout the room. Heni's mother who was arranging the food on the table rushed towards the front door.

“Hai, Iqbal. You want to pick up Dara?” greet Heni's mother when the front door opens.

“Iya, Mum.”

“Come, wait inside. I called Dara first in her room.”

Heni's mother left Iqbal in the living room. He knocked on Dara's room door while calling her name.

“Iya, Mom,” replied Dara while opening her room door. The girl was already wearing a pink dress and a tiny tote bag with matching colors that coiled around her wrist.

“The beauty of Mom's daughter-in-law,” praise Ibu Heni.

Dara blushed in embarrassment at the compliments she received from her mother-in-law. “Still losing pretty with Ibu.” Dara returned the praise of her mother-in-law.

With her hands held by Heni's mother, Dara walked down the stairs. He set his foot into the living room, where Ardi's personal assistant Iqbal was sitting waiting. The man's Netra could not look elsewhere when the wife of his master was already standing right before him.

Stunned to see Dara's beauty made Iqbal's eyelids not blink for a while. His daydreams instantly disappeared as Dara called out his name.

“I-iya, Mom. Sorry if I was sassy,” said Iqbal stammered. “I've never met a woman as beautiful as Mother Dara. Today I look so beautiful. Surely Mr. Ardi will be instantly fascinated.”

“Thank you,” replied Dara.

“Iya, Mom. I understand,” replied Iqbal. “Mari, Ms. Dara. I drove to see Mr. Ardi,” continued Iqbal.

“I said yes, Mom,” said Dara while kissing the back of Mother Heni.

“Iya, Darling. Have fun,” said Mrs Heni. “Iqbal, be careful in driving. Intercourse on Ardi safely, yes,” continued Ms. Heni.

“Good, Bu.” Iqbal nodded his head.

***

After taking less than half an hour Dara arrived at the destination. The sky was dark and the time was almost seven in the evening. Iqbal escorted Dara to one of the floors of the star hotel building that had been ordered by Ardi.

Ting! Elevator door opens.

A rooftop cafe has been transformed so beautiful. The candlelight became the source of light there. Rose petals scattering on the floor accompanied Dara's every step towards the only table in the cafe.

The man who looked familiar to him was already standing beside the chair waiting for his arrival. One of the man's arms, he hid it behind his back. Dara was really amazed by the black-clothed man before her right now.

“What is this?” ask Dara.

“Nothing. I just want to date my wife,” replied Ardi while letting Dara sit in her chair. “And it's special for my dear wife,” continued Ardi. He placed a bouquet of roses on Dara's lap, which he had hidden behind his back.

Dara's blush immediately appeared when she looked at the very beautiful bouquet of flowers. He breathed the scent of the flower. “Thank you. The flowers are very beautiful,” said Dara later.

“Do you like it?”

“Mm.” Dara nodded. “I like it very much. Moreover, roses are a favorite of many people, including me.”

“Thank God you liked it. We've never dated before. I was afraid that if I chose wrong so a moment ago I called Kak Farhan to ask for his opinion. It turns out what he said was true. Women love roses and you love them. Looks like I need to learn a lot from Kak Farhan ..”

“No need!” Dara cut Ardi's sentence tightly.

“Why, Ra? Did I say the wrong words?”

“Eh? No. gabe. I mean .. I like Kak Ardi for who he is. There is no need to change into anything because I love Kak Ardi not because of appearance, but I love Kak Ardi because he is Seno Ardibratha, who is the best friend I have ever had. I want Ardi to be who he is. The person whom I had known for a long time as a person who had a indifferent personality, but in his silence he paid attention to every detail of the person he loved.”

“Indeed me like that?”

“Iya. For example, as it is today. Brother Ardi suddenly sent me a gift and asked me out on a date. But yesterday, Ardi was acting ordinary. Then ... when I fell out of the bathroom yesterday, I felt the details of Kak Ardi taking care of me. I'm not allowed to wear my own clothes because you think it's tight and can scratch my skin reddened by hot water. Finally I put on your shirt because you keep raving at me.”

“That I do because I love you, Ra.”

“So, am I right? Although often acting indifferent, but actually Brother Ardi continues to pay attention to me right?”

“Yes, you were right, dear,” said Ardi gently as he stroked Dara's cheek.
