Throw Your Ex In His Place !
Ep. 84

"Hey! The newlyweds are getting their faces bent?" doni asked when he entered Ardi's room.

"Eh, Mrs Doni. How are you, Mas?" greet Ardi, shake his brother-in-law's hand.

"I'm good, everything in the house is good too. You why? Any problem? If anything just say the same to me," said Doni, patting his new sister-in-law's shoulder.

"Nothing, Mom. Just a little work piled up. It's been a few days." Ardi. "Mas Doni, what's the need to come here? Is there anything important?"

"Just love to see you" said Doni, taking out an envelope from his pocket.

"What is this, Mom?" ask Ardi curiously.

"just open. That's an extra wedding gift from me. Candra and Rina I've done it. And that's the proof."

Ardi looked at the pile of photos in turn.

"And now they're staying at a prodeo hotel, so you don't have to think about it anymore. Now you can focus on Dara, and immediately give me a cute niece."

"Ready, Mom! I will fulfill your wish soon" said Ardi grinned.

Meanwhile, Dara is at a cafe near the branch office with Eka and Irma. The three of them had just finished tidying up Dara's previous files, and had been officially transferred to Eka and Irma. Now they are enjoying lunch with a jest. Dara did not think, later will be able to gather together again like this, no? And he also felt incomplete, because Novi was not among the three of them.

"Thank you, Ra for the treat" said Eka.

"If you have time, go to the office, Ra," Irma continued.

"Yes, later if I have time for sure I will go to you both" replied Dara.

"Sip! We go back to the office first, Ra. The break is over" said Irma.

"OK! Welcome back to activities for both of you," said Dara.

"Bye! See you later," said Irma, gluing her cheeks to Dara's cheeks, as well as Eka.

Just as Dara was about to leave her desk, she saw an old friend whom she deeply missed. Although he had hurt his heart before, Dara still loved him very much. Novi, just got into the cafe. His face looked lethargic. Dara immediately shouted her name.

"Novi!" dara shouted from her desk, waving both of her hands. "Novi, here!"

"Become?" murmured Novi, dumbfounded. With a slight hesitation, he approached her.

Once within his reach, Dara pulls Novi into his arms. He vented all his longing through hugs. Closely clutching the skinny body of his best friend.

"Where have you been, Nov?" dara asked, releasing her embrace. "You're okay, right? Why do you look lethargic? And it looks like you lost your weight."

"I'm good, Ra. It's just that lately I have a lot of work piling up, so I often overtime. So I feel very tired now" replied Novi.

"Yes, already. Now you sit down. I'll order some food for you. I treat it as a celebration of our reunion" said Dara enthusiastically.

"No need to bother, Ra. Thank ye. I can pay for it myself" Novi said, dropping his ass on the chair.

"Why do you feel that way? We're still friends, Nov? We're forever friends." Dara clasped Novi's hand.

"Thank you, Ra. You still want to be friends with me after what I've done for you. Forgive my old mistakes, Ra."

"Forget over! Don't talk about it anymore. Ok?"

Dara smelled her smile. Then nod. "We just married" said Dara Lirih.

Not yet finished Novi's shock, he was surprised again with the next sentence spoken by Dara.

"Three days ago we got married" Dara said.

"Gee!" pekik Novi. "really? You guys really married? And that's her wedding ring?"

Dara nodded again in response to the question posed by Novi.

"Well! Congratulations on your marriage. I'm so happy for you both. May you always be in His protection, kept away from all kinds of actors or players, always happy and soon given a baby," said Novi.

"Aamiin, Nov. Thank you for your prayer. When are you coming?"

"Contestable? Her soul mate hasn't been seen, Ra."

"Don't you like Mas Rizal? Why don't you go after him?"

"When I leave the office I don't dare to contact Mr. Rizal again. Especially if you remember the problem yesterday. I don't have the guts to go near her. She must be disgusted by me now."

"Don't talk like that! You did it because of him. Surely Mas Rizal can consider how you feel."

"Alright, Ra. Don't talk about it anymore. Besides, now I like other men" said Novi blushed shyly.

"really? Who her? Atpa do you know if she likes you too or not?" search Dara.

"Hm." Novi. "He hasn't heard of it, Ra. And I dare not speak it either, for he is... Boss in my new office."

"Well! Great of you, Nov! Your taste is high," praised Dara.

"But I heard some bad news about my boss, Ra. He said he's not interested in women."

"What's? You mean he's a same-sex person?" ask Dara in shock.

"I thought so at first. But that's not what it means. The real point is that in the meantime he has no interest in being in a relationship with any woman before he meets his former lover."

"You mean he still loves his ex-girlfriend?"

"Yes. About seven or eight years ago when they were dating in school. Mr. Boss was guilty of cheating on his girlfriend and getting caught, but after that he felt sorry and wanted to improve their relationship. Unfortunately, his lover refused him, even to decide all kinds of communication, either phone or mail. Nothing was answered. And all that time he's been looking for his girlfriend, but hasn't seen her until now."

"Seven or eight years ago? Means the range of High School or first-level college dong. If it is the same age as Mas Rizal," said Dara.

"It looks like they're the same age."

"Whoa! Even if the age of a High School boy at that time could be said it was a love monkey. But, why is he so deeply in love with that woman huh? Does that mean so much to her?"

"It looks like that, Ra. The proof until now he is still at home to sing just for the sake of looking for his former lover. Huh! Why do I always like people who love other women first?"

"Quiet, baby. You will definitely get the best match. I'm sure of it! Now we eat first so that your body weight increases again. Don't think about it. Later when the time comes he will just look at you."

"That's right, Ra. Thank you, yeah."
