Lidya Answers

Lidya listened to Frans' heart. His heart began to shake. I don't know what he's thinking right now. Lidya wasn't even ready with an answer. Although he has never dated before, but Lidya does not want to just try to date. Frans desperately wished for an answer from Lidya and looked at her with great hope.

"I..gimana ya Mas? Sorry, wasn't it too soon? We're only three months old this is familiar. I'm afraid to disappoint you"

"Lid..just to wait, wait for me! I'll finish my script first and you'll be with me for graduation."

"Mas.honestly, I like you too, but I'm not ready. For me, the courtship must have a commitment, not just a road together. Sorry if I thought too far."

"So... won't you wait for me?" Frans asked again as his hands clasped Lidya's hands.

Lidya did not immediately reply, Lidya just daydreamed as if thinking of something. Frans also did not want to force Lidya.

"Alright Lid.I will not force you," he said resignedly and released Lidya's hand.

"Mas.I will support you. Finish your script! Make your parents proud! Focus on what you dream about, not because I'll have your concentration interrupted."

"So that means....?" frans was confused.

"We live what is there. We both support each other, I also do not want to stay here long. I'm going back to Jogja looking for my dream."

"Would you like to take up a profession in Jogja, right?"

"Yes Mas. attending a public university in my city is my biggest dream. I've told you before, it's my dream" said Lidya very optimistic.

"Lid..after graduation, I want to work in Jakarta. I'd love to work for one of the biggest companies there."

"Let's go after our dreams!"

"Lid.I like you for who you are. You're different from the others, and it turns out we have the same vision."

"What mission vision?" seductive Lidya melts the atmosphere.

"So the point..?"

"Lid."

"Sorry, I can't give you an answer right now. For me it's too fast."

"Alright.I'm not forcing you. Sometimes it doesn't have to be said. I can feel the sincerity of your heart" Frans said confidently that Lidya actually wanted to wait for him.

"I like you, but I need time to convince my feelings"

"Thank you, this is more than enough to answer my request" Frans said.

Lidya was embarrassed by Frans' statement. Lidya does like Frans, but still hesitates about her feelings.

"Make it not take long to script." Lidya flinched and covered her mouth with both hands.

Frans who heard immediately smiled. Frans can impliedly capture Lidya's answer.

The two of them continued chatting and called the meatball seller who passed in front of Lidya's boarding house. It was late in the afternoon, after eating Frans came home. Frans promised to pick Lidya up tomorrow for college. Lidyapun did not reject it.

Since the incident at the Lidya boarding house at that time, Adi has not bothered him too much. Adi had already gotten information about Lidya and Frans from a trusted person. Adi who had promised sportsmanship to pursue Lidya, he would keep it. However, that does not mean Adi is silent not chasing Lidya. Adi still continues to pursue Lidya, but in a subtle and unrelenting way. Lidya who passed the choir audition, met with Adi every week for rehearsal together. That's where Adi comes into action near Lidya.

Without notice, a semester passed. Frans and Lidya are getting closer. They are like lovers who are always both everywhere. Ahead of the semester break, Lidya will return to Jogja and Frans plans to take Lidya home.

"Lid...when is the plan to go home?" ask Frans.

"Friday this week, yes, Mas" replied Lidya.

"I want to go home to Jakarta Lid, maybe later take a train from Jogja. Take you home."
