Auditioning

Today is the day Lidya is waiting for. The choir audition will begin this afternoon, since early morning Lidya has been very enthusiastic to practice singing.

Lidya is practicing until she doesn't hear her phone ring. As usual, Lidya forgot her phone. Lidya leaves for campus and sees no missed incoming calls. While walking to campus, from the opposite direction Frans drove on his motorbike.

"Hi...go back to college I picked up ya," Frans said as he stopped his motorbike in front of Lidya.

"Emmm.. Frans ga bothered?" ask Lidya who is actually just a pleasantries.

"Make you, I never bother" Frans replied with a big smile.

"Have been..jam 10.00 WIB ya Mas," said Lidya then walked to the campus.

Frans will pick up Lidya after college later, Frans since this morning has been exercising in the park and called Lidya but not appointed. Frans has started to recognize the habit of Lidya who often forgets his cell phone. Arriving at the boarding house, Frans took a shower and collapsed his body because he was tired.

After college, Lidya calls Frans but is not appointed. Frans who was asleep did not hear that Lidya called him. Lidya then writes a message to Frans.

Lidya meets with Rita and invites her to eat batagor. They talked long enough until the bricks ran out. Frans did not pick her up yet. Lidya then walks home with Rita. On the way, Lidya again sends a message to Frans.

I'm sorry, I went home with Rita.

Frans who fell asleep finally woke up and was shocked to see the clock was already at 11:00

Frans reads a message from Lidya, then calls her.

**Frans : Hello..sory Lid, I overslept just woke up...have you come home?

Lidya: Yes Mas.maaf yes I was waiting, but Mas Frans ga dateng-dateng.

Frans: Sory...You're not angry, are you? what time will you audition? I'll take her home.

"What are you Rit for?" tanya Lidya could not believe what Rita was saying.

Lidya recalls the incident on the bus as Rita told her. Her daydream stopped after Rita called out to him.

"Lid...haloo....what do you think? you want to go down the road to my boarding house?" ask Rita in wonder.

"Eh.you're this." Lidya answered in shock.

"Okay Rit, I'm ahead." Lidya opened her boarding fence and entered immediately.

Lidya changed her clothes and went to sleep. By late afternoon, Lidya immediately prepared to take a shower and rushed to the campus because she did not want to be late for the audition.

Lidya walked confidently towards the audition venue, surely all eyes were looking at her. Arriving at the audition location, Lidya headed for the registration desk.

Lidya then sat down waiting for her turn to be called. Some of the choir seniors noticed and talked about it.

"OK you can get into the dalem," said Mario who also noticed Lidya.

Lidya smiled and walked away leaving them towards the audition room. Lidya came in and greeted some of the people in the room.

"Hello all.happy afternoon," Lidya greeted and smiled.

"What's your name.. Is it ready, you read the numbers before you sing?" tanya Adi who was busy with some papers for audition material and did not pay attention to Lidya.

"Mi.mi.re.fa.mi..re..do..........." Lidya read the number notes given by Adi with a very melodious voice.

Hearing Lidya's voice, immediately Adi noticed Lidya and admired God's creature in front of her while smilingly looking at Lidya from the bottom up to her face.

"One free song.have you prepared?" tanya Adi hopes Lidya is ready and can pass the audition this time.

"Okay already," Lidya replied confidently.

Lidya sings one pre-prepared song. Lidya managed to sing the song very well. All the seniors who auditioned liked it very much.

"Okay last yes.we both sang this song and broke the sound using the piano," Adi deliberately made the audition longer and asked Bella to play the piano.

"Thank you yes.you can go home, wait for the audition announcement next week," Revelation invited Lidya home.

"Where In? you must be okay." Sonya asked and guessed Adi's answer.

Arriving at the parking lot, Lidya sees Frans wearing a red jacket. Frans looked at Lidya with a smile.

"My head is bigger, I don't wear a helmet," said Lidya shyly.

"Let's eat Lid first!" bring Frans.

"OK Mas.." replied Lidya while wearing a helmet and hitchhiking Frans.

They headed for a dining place a bit away from the campus. Frans took his bike with him while continuing to chat with Lidya. Lidya is no longer awkward and feels very comfortable with Frans. They're passing through tonight together.
