Theft of the Future

Theft of the Future
Chapter 30

There was not much Laju could remember after his dizzy head and black vision. Except, a very delicious and pleasant scent, which rendered his entire body helpless, just fell down, making his consciousness slowly disappear.

Before everything became clear, he first saw the ceiling with a very bright light, based on a mattress and a very soft pillow on his back.

Perhaps, his head was still slightly dizzy at some point. But that didn't stop him from getting up and looking around to ask where he was. And, what he could deduce was that this room was clearly different from the working room of the Vignette Grandmother that he had visited before.

This room is the definition of a real patient care room, where there is no working desk or computer, except for the patient's mattress, sofa, small table, and a television that lights up.

Yes, this is a treatment room. It's just, a little more luxurious and exclusive when compared to other ordinary treatment rooms.

When Laju tried to glance to the left right, trying to find the remnants of life that could be asked about what really happened to him, no one could answer the question except the sad voice of the television.

“Oh, already aware?” ask for a silhouette that appears at will and sit leaning on the sofa, carrying a food box, and watching television.

That's Audy.

“Calm down, everything's fine. You can rest again if necessary,” he said no matter while eating a snack in his hand.

The pace that was still trying to restore his consciousness was not ready to speak the word answering whatever Audy said. He simply tried to drink a glass of mineral water beside him, hoping that he could be refreshed with those gulps.

But, as he tried to reach the glass, he realized he had been injected with an infusion that practically shocked him. Suddenly, her trauma slowly haunts her again, until she realizes that there is no pain whatsoever in the infused hand. Is the speed just exaggerating?

Nit!

Moments later, an alarm-like sound came from the sofa where Audy was sitting watching television. Audy instantly moved to do something that could not be so The pace followed.

What she could clearly see was how Audy had switched television channels to feature many small screens explaining that the broadcast was a result of a transimission from a surveillance camera.

And on one of the screens that Audy grew up on, there was a large CT scan-like tube that was emitting smoke, as well as a girl who was slowly pulled out by the nurses.

“He's done? How's it going?” Audrey asked the phone.

“Actually still in control and stable. But, maybe this girl had a past that made her strength just explode. In the middle of the process, this girl made a defense on her organs suddenly, like one of her protective efforts. She's unconscious, you know?”

“Hahaha! The old granny finally got a fuss?”

“No. Relax, everything is normal. He's just a nosebleed.”

The pace of trying to follow the conversation conducted by Audy. But, because his condition was still weak powerless, he couldn't be so savvy about what was really going on. Except, when he started to feel worried because of his increasingly clear view, who could see the television in front of him that was showing a group of nurses was doing something to the girl he knew was right.

His worry mindset was in vain. But, everything became even more serious when then he could see that half of the girl's hand that was being pulled out turned out to be Delphia, which had already frozen in blue silver, also her perfect hair turned white.

What are these people really doing to them?

Does Laju also get such treatment? Get into a weird big tube and torture him?

Although the nurses who brought out Delphia actually took care of and cleaned it carefully and carefully, Laju chose to reject the fact, because his thoughts and memories were still falling apart.

But his worries did not produce anything.

The pace instead felt something strange, especially after he gulped down again the mineral water beside him. What the hell's going on?

I don't know. His head turned slightly, his eyes were heavy again.

From the start, he was not in a fit condition to move around. He just happened to wake up and do various other activities by accident, just on the basis of his instinct alone.

In fact, Laju is worried and amazed at many things.

He must stay awake, to answer the problems of his mind. But, it was all for nothing. His vision slowly faded, as did his consciousness.

The pace back to sleep.

***

Only after a period of several hours later, Laju can really wake up with fresh conditions fit.

Although some things were still as before, where she was lying in quite a luxurious treatment room, and Audy who was still watching television casually.

No. gabe. Everything is no longer like that. The television was still on and someone was watching it. But that's not Audie. Audy was still on the sofa, but she was resting sleeping and snoring on the lap of another girl who was giving elusan on her head.

It's Delphia.

The two girls were relaxing watching television in a relaxed manner like never before.

The pace was slowly approaching them, while trying to balance his body and mind are still mixed.

“Ngh-h?!” Delphia who noticed Laju's presence immediately turned her head, welcoming his presence, trying to help him.

But, as soon as Audy realized her elution had stopped, she instead roared in protest. Delphia decided to sit back and try not to wake the cat girl. Therefore, Delphia was forced to greet Laju with a wave of her hands and a sweet smile.

The pace tries to ask, while trying to arrange the questions he wants to ask. Not waiting for an answer that wouldn't come out of Delphia's mouth, she sat down on the sofa, leaning back, still confused at Delphia's unfamiliar existence to her. Then, he decided to drink a glass of water that I don't know who.

Delphia just tilted her head, feeling astonished by Laju's question she didn't understand. Delphia astonished Laju to ask anything, whatever Laju was astonished by all this madness that was happening to them again.

“Urrrkhhh-ngghhh!”

And that awkward silence was broken by Audy's groan that had just woken up. But, both of them knew that Audy's wake was more like an annoyance because of the elusan Delphia who stopped.

“Just relax, nothing special happened. You are only helped with a tool to loosen and smooth your organs, your muscles, to make your strength more maximized easily,” explained Audy as he squirmed.

“Maybe, you were still confused this morning. But, Delphia did come out of the device while nosebleed. But, just calm down because nothing serious happened. The proof, this girl can still be calm like this, right?” Added Audy.

Next, Audy explained briefly what really happened during Laju lost consciousness since in the workspace of Grandma Vignette yesterday. The pace of blood was taken to check and ascertain what the grandmother had to do to loosen the organs, as well as to Delphia. After that, you are transferred to a special room of the tube to check and other configurations, until the process of loosening the organ itself.

Audy explained, a nurse came in to give her a trolley lunch.

With energy and energy that slowly re-filled the body Laju, he returned to his fit condition to further listen to Audy's explanation of everything that happened, as well as his future plans.

“ Anyway, we are here to make your body more familiar with your own strengths. Later, Parker might be able to invite you to practice together or something. Your body feels lighter, doesn't it, Ju?”

The speed cannot feel it so much. He just felt very hungry, also very thirsty. Luckily, he was able to eat voraciously and deliciously the food given from this hospital.

Then, after Audy's explanation was complete, they decided to go straight home and go back to Parker, reporting everything that happened at this hospital.

Starting from the parting to Grandma Vignette who still makes Delphia uncomfortable – especially because of the grandmother's excessive actions that are not willing to let go of her daughter's master, then go downstairs and report something about the administration to the female officers at the front desk, until they finally get out of the hospital, ready to go back to the terminal.

Speaking of Audy's question earlier about the body Lighter pace. Maybe there was something different about him. One of them is how he can walk more easily, to be able to follow and compensate for the speed of Audy who from yesterday always preceded him and troubled him.

He could not quite understand what was really happening to his body. But, looking at his hands, he smiled happily.

But, what Laju should know is that he should be walking in focus, looking straight ahead, instead of looking down on his own grin like a madman.

Dugs.

The pace hit someone in front of him who was also walking in the opposite direction.

“Oh...?”

The two sides were originally prepared for a fight, until they stared at each other, realizing who this was crashing into.

The pace just hit Adrian!

“Eh...Ah, Adr-Adrian!?”

“Eh? A pace? You here?”

“Eh-aah, eheh i-iya nih.

“Hahaha! Apparently your plan to participate in the forbidden city actually happened, yes. It's not in vain that we discussed a lot at Boss Alex's residence. If we go home and report all this to him, he can wet the bed!” Adrian immediately embraces the pace that is still confused what to do.

“Eh, yes. Hahaha!”

“Why? Aye? I was thinking your nature changed a little, huh? What happened?”

“Yes a lot, lah. Haha! Oh, yes... I want–”

When Laju wants to start a lot of nostalgia with Adrian, his acquaintance, his friend who is so respected. Someone interrupted calling Adrian. Perhaps, this time was still not right for them to chat a lot.

“Adrian! We can't linger! Many are waiting!” his friend shouted from a distance, realizing Adrian was being hampered by a foreign boy.

“Ah, yes! I'm coming!” Answer Adrian. “Maybe we can chat a lot later. Nih! If you want to meet, come here. That's where I'm here,” said Adrian while giving a business card with a million pieces of information that Laju can use.

“Eh? Yes, thank you!”

“Thank you!? Are you really grateful? Huhahah! Come on, we can talk a lot later. I'm first, huh?” Said Adrian who was astonished while leaving Laju who stood still in joy.

While staring at the business card that read ‘Adrian’ on it, Laju could only tremble not expecting that this day would come too. The day he was able to treat his longing, after being long trapped in such a foreign city without a single acquaintance.

Audy who noticed Laju's stalled step just called out to him no matter what Laju had just gone through. Except for Delphia, who gave her anxious and worried expression to Laju who was overjoyed as she continued to follow Audy.

In fact, Delphia's move could still match the two.

But, his mind was flying here and there covered with many things. Especially, about the unease about Laju and Adrian's meeting just now, as if he had just seen a future about the two of them.

And Delphia knew, she didn't like this uneasy feeling of hers.
