The Extra Part 8

Chesa exhaled slowly before answering a question from her father-in-law. It's a little heavy for him. Where he must re-open the bitter story in the past. However, remembering Gio's smile that was immediately present made him finally want to tell a story. It's all over. Let this story be the history of his life and can be a lesson to others.

"I used to have an accident while trying to find Gio in Jakarta. And I was declared paralyzed." Chesa was trying to look good in front of her father-in-law. Although he himself knew his father-in-law was surprised by what he said.

Chesa smiled, "Dad doesn't have to do that. At that time Gio also asked Naren to do the thing that he wanted to do with Gio. But Naren refuses, Naren only asks that Gio take Nara and begin to accept me in his life." Chesa calmly told him again. Trying to quell his father-in-law's anger.

"What did Gio do after that?" ask Naren's father while looking at his daughter-in-law.

"Gio tried to take on Nara who he would never have again. And from then on Gio focused on taking care of me who was paralyzed. Until he was willing to go back and forth abroad for my treatment. Chesa smiled again remembering the story of her struggle with Gio.

Naren's father nodded at his daughter-in-law's words. He and Gio were indeed so similar in deeds and ways of thinking. And it made a sense of pride appear in him. Guilt for not being a good father.

"I'm sorry dad, because I can't be a good example for you guys yet" said Naren's father bowed.

Chesa who saw such a great sense of guilt then rubbed his father-in-law's shoulders slowly. "It's okay dad. Now be a grandfather who can be an example for his grandchildren. Dad was a great grandfather to them" Chesa said, forcing Naren's father to re-establish his head. Then he nodded in agreement.

In his heart, Naren's father promises to be a grandfather who can make his granddaughter proud. And of course will continue to improve themselves in order to become a better person again.

In the morning everyone gathered to have breakfast together. This time the dining table was crowded. Plus Anzel and Ezra's babble that made everyone's laughter present.

"It feels like meeting with an investor? Brothers from various countries gather together here" said Naren's father amid breakfast activities.

"Yes you're absolutely right. I feel the same way. But it's more than that. If the meeting with investors there is no babbling of small children. Hahaha." Ael's father chimed in to make the atmosphere more lively.

"It's not just that. Here too we must use English to understand each other." whispered Chesa who sat next to Naren. Making Naren hold back a laugh.

"Practice speaking Indonesian." Naren replied with a whisper.

"I can already. I learned from Nara."

"Goodoo. So I don't have to teach you, do I?"

Breakfast continued until it was finished. Everyone dispersed to continue their activities. Including Naren who is preparing to go to the office because today he will attend an important meeting. So don't take a leave of absence.

"Darling are you ready?" Naren approaches Anzel who is sitting with Ezra and Chesa.

Anzel got up soon. "Had daddy. Let's go now." take Anzel.

"All right come on."

"Zel, I'm coming." Ezra approached quickly while holding Anzel's hand.

"Ez, Anzel is coming home. Just wait at home, okay?" Chesa persuades Ezra not to go with Anzel. Because he knew, surely Naren would go with Anzel somewhere. So he didn't want to interrupt father and son's time.

"But Ezra-"

"Let's come with us. It's okay anyway. Let Anzel also have friends when I meet later." said Naren mediate.

Ezra also jumped with excitement. "Thank you uncle Ren." said Ezra by hugging Naren because it was allowed to come along.

Finally they left because Naren's time was not much anymore.

Arriving at the office, Naren invites them to go to his room. Naren leaves Anzel on Chesa. And asked Chesa not to get out of the room.

Naren leaves when someone picks him up. Stay Anzel, Ezra and Naren in a room so spacious and neat. The two boys play with Chesa's supervision.

Not long after a woman came. Then introduce yourself to Chesa. That he is Naren's new secretary. And was being assigned to accompany Anzel. Chesa was happy too. Because he's happy to have friends now. They chatted on the sofa with a warm glass of tea as friends.

"Sorry mom, if I may know your mom is ready, sir Naren? You see, I know his wife, Mr. Naren, is dead." asked Dea carefully.

Chesa who found the question laughed. "I can already guess you'll definitely ask that, De."

"Oh yes ma'am? How can you guess I'll ask you that?" ask Dea back.

Chesa looked at Dea. A beautiful woman. He likes Dea's friendly personality and is a little shy. Also the woman's curiosity towards something. It was not wrong for Naren to choose Dea to be his secretary.

"I can see it from your eyes. That admiration. From there said can guess it." replied Chesa who made Dea surprised. He was silent for a moment. Shame because it has been caught having a taste of his superiors.

"I'm sorry ma'am, don't tell Mr. Naren. I could have been fired. I need this job. My mother is -"

"Ngga would. Just calm down." Chesa is worried about Dea. There are people like Dea. And that's Naren's secretary.

"Alhamdulillah. Thank you ma'am." said Dea with a big smile.

"Oh yeah, I haven't answered your question. So, I'm Naren's brother-in-law. Maybe it'll be your sister-in-law." Chesa tried to melt the atmosphere.

"Eh ingga ma'am. I'm not brave." Dea said quickly.

"Why? Not that you're amazed by-"

"Honey, daddy's done." along with that Naren went into his room. Make Dea immediately rise and say goodbye to Chesa because the task is done.

"Thank you for accompanying Dea. May we meet again." said Chesa before Dea disappeared behind the door. Made Naren furrow his brows. Wonder. Chesa just came to the office but looks familiar with her new secretary.

"Let's go daddy." take Anzel.
