The Voice of the Husband

The Voice of the Husband
Darling

Yumna stared into the eyeballs of her new friend Ken's doll. Cream-colored taddy bear doll with a lopsided hat on her head. Looks beautiful and funny. The doll was a gift from Jordan. Jordan said Ken's doll would be his friend. And now Yumna really feels like she has a friend. Unlike the previous nights that felt empty. Sit on your own while hugging a pillow and crying.

Hugged Ken's doll tightly. It was as if the doll was human. He's got Ken's doll talking. Yumna poured out her heart without forgetting what she felt in the slightest. Starting from his daddy who changed until today's event.

"Ken, Tell me you'll always be with me." Yumna ordered. Hope Ken's doll says it too. For Yumna, only Ken's doll won't leave her. Not like everyone who went away from him all of a sudden. It really made Yumna very hurt. Until he chooses to shut himself out of everyone.

["Ken, tell me you'll always be with me."]

Behind the door of Yumna's room, a middle-aged woman stood with restraint. It turned out that Nara was right to say, her grandson was going through a heavy thing. The people who used to surround him with affection, now he was alone. Until choosing to befriend a doll that in fact is an inanimate object that can not speak. Miris.

Geck...

Geck...

Geck...

After taking a deep breath, Ai finally knocked on her grandson's room. A few seconds quiet.

Chequek!

A smile immediately rose from Mother Ai's lips as the door opened. His beautiful grandson was standing in front of him. The curvature of a smile was invisible from Yumna's face. It makes Hyundai Ai sad.

Mother Ai then squatted, align her height with Yumna. He gently brushed off Yumna's black hair. "Honey, Omah misses you" said Mother Ai.

Yumna stood sculpting. Sometimes his eyes blink. Feeling every warmth radiating from his oma hand rub. Longs. Yep. Yumna missed this loving swipe. Especially from her daddy.

Without saying, Yumna immediately hugged Mother Ai. "Una, also kangen omah." His embrace felt so tight. Making a clear circle that stagnates in the end falls.

"Now you have a story. You're not alone anymore, baby. There's omah. Yea?" Yumna nodded at his words. His embrace is getting tighter. Afraid of losing again.

Slowly Mother Ai took off her embrace. Then lead Yumna into the room and sit on the edge of the bed after the door was closed.

"Omah promises to be a member of Una's story?" ask Yumna to make sure.

Bundai Ai nodded a few times as she said, "Sure, dear."

"Thank you omah. Una so have more friends besides Ken." he said smiling sweetly.

Again and again Hyundai Ai hugged her grandson. Then continue with a small talk. "Omah, the old Una kangen daddy." interrupted their conversation, Yumna revealed what she felt lately. About that miss. Misses who don't know when. Because it seems, indeed his longing will never be reciprocated.

Gently Hyundai Ai began to give her granddaughter an explanation. "Una, my dear granddaughter. You're a smart kid. You must know why your daddy became like that, right? Daddy you're fighting the same pain. And you have to help daddy heal. Pray with God, may your daddy heal as quickly as before. Yes smart kid?"

Yumna seemed to think for a moment. Digesting every word that came out of his lips. After a story-filled night with her omah, Yumna begins to change. Every morning, her beautiful and carefree face greeted all the members out. And in the evening, Yumna would accompany Najla to sleep.

Yumna's self-change which is now a concern made Naren's heart knock. As now, when Yumna fell asleep beside Najla, Naren with a heart that could not bear to go to Yumna. She gently wore Yumna's beautiful face, and landed a kiss of Yumna.

"I'm sorry, pretty boy. I really don't remember anything. Including you, my beloved daughter. I feel guilty for your mother and you. I know you're fighting for me to come back. And remember everything. About the memories you will never meet all the time with you two. Again I'm sorry. Because it can't make you happy." Afterwards, Naren pulls out a white blanket to cover Yumna's body. Then immediately leave the room without saying another word.

As Naren exited Nara's room, his steps came to a halt as soon as he heard the familiar voice give the order. Naren then twisted his body to face the woman who lately so wanted him to embrace into his arms.

"It turns out you're back, sis." said Nara with quivering lips holding a clear grain that was ready to slide past her white cheek.

Naren shook his head, "I've never left. Why did you say I'm back?"

Nara ran as Naren spread her arms wide. "Sister" he said as the two let go of each other's longing in the warmth of an embrace.

The two cried together while pouring out their hearts through an increasingly tight embrace.

"Never say I'm back. Because I never leave." said Naren softly. He looked at Nara's eyeballs with shade.

Nara obediently nodded at Naren's words. "You've come, brother." Return.

"Because you called me." replied Naren.

Again the two hugged. Spend seconds with the love that has now blossomed.

"So, is Naren's memory back, baby?" mother Ai asked as she was sunbathing with Nara and Najla.

Nara shook her head, "Doctor said, Naren's memory won't come back, bun."

"Then did you see?" Mother Ai patted Najla's body gently. Make the tiny baby squirm in the sun that is rich in vitamins.

"The mother saw was a miracle. Brother Naren said he would open a new page with me, Yumna and Najla. Like family in general. We love each other." Nara said with a smiley face.

Mother Ai smiled at the happy news from her daughter. May this be a good start after the storm has passed from her daughter's complicated life.

"May happiness be with you always."
