Episode 5: The identity of Leo

They entered one of the rooms on the 2nd floor. By the time Red opened the door for them, Edgar was quite surprised by what was there. There's been some food for him, Leo, and Red.

Leo and Red sat in their seats, followed by Edgar. Edgar was surprised by the current situation. He was certain that by the time he entered this mansion, he had not seen, heard, or felt the existence of anyone other than the three of them.

‘But, why is there food here neatly served on the dining table?’ Inner Edgar who was still surprised by the sight before him.

“Edgar? Why are you just sitting there? Come quickly enter” Leo said making Edgar aware of his daydream.

He only answered “Ah, iay” briefly then followed Leo inside.

Leo settled himself in the middle seat, a place that signified that he was the owner of this mansion. There was Red sitting next to him, followed by Edgar to his left. Leo and Red without hesitation to eat the dishes on the table. Unlike Edgar who is still a little hesitant to eat the dish.

“Oh yes. You said there were no nobles here, right?” Ask Leo who has finished cutting meat on his plate.

Edgar just nodded in response to Leo's question while raising his cutlery. Seemingly looking at Leo and Red who had already started eating quietly, his doubts slowly disappeared.

“Your statement regarding the presence or absence of nobles in this mansion is indeed true. There are no nobles here. Red is no noble either. You also said I was a noble. Aren't you, Edgar?” Leo opened their conversation.

Edgar turned to Leo and nodded back his head. He then explained the meaning of the previous words.

“Ah, yes. I did say that. But my words, right? You're royalty and Red is your servant. This is still my guess. Leo you are not an ordinary noble who has a mansion in the middle of a forest like this. At least only a Count class or above again had a mansion this big. Then not just anyone also has a servant with abilities like Red. I'm also sure if you must have another servant in Red's class. Nobles under the Count class did not own their lands and many of them chose to live with the Landlords. Especially for their home security. Noble houses were usually only guarded by noble guards not with Multiple-Barriers and Illusion Magic or Elemental Golems. At least they should use middle or upper class magic tools. Leo listened to a long explanation from Edgar while enjoying his meal, subconsciously smiling, he felt a little satisfied with the explanation from Edgar. Meanwhile, Edgar had just wanted to taste the cuisine that he had not had time to eat.

Leo responded to an explanation from Edgar “Your guess is right, Edgar. But not yet completely true” Respond Leo while putting his cutlery.

Leo's response made Edgar a little surprised, as his explanation slightly missed his own expectations.

“I think I should introduce myself first to answer all your questions, Edgar. My name is Lilyum Cammomile Vi Raguel Leo. I am the first Prince of Lilyum Kingdom. Greetings, Edgar” Said Leo who smiled as he refuted his head with both hands on the table.

Edgar who heard Leo's words immediately stopped his activities. He was processing Leo's words carefully. Shortly after that Edgar immediately shouted “Haa!?!?” to his surprise, Edgar dropped his cutlery.

“Wait first! You're not serious, are you? Don't say things like haphazardly, Leo” said Edgar, still in disbelief, standing on his dinner table.

Red slightly scrunched his eyes at the reaction from Edgar that he felt was overrated. He assumed that Edgar was not from the Kingdom of Lilyum, seeing Edgar's previous reaction.

“Not that I don't trust you, Leo. But I really don't know what to do now. I still need proof. And also, if you're a prince, why are you here? A prince shouldn't be out of the palace alone without a bodyguard” said Edgar who had started to calm down and sit back in his seat.

“I was looking at the atmosphere outside the palace. If you want proof, I'll show you” Leo put his palm on the dinner table and popped a white and gold magic circle.

From the magic circle, out came a red jewelry box and a golden pattern. The little box looks so beautiful and classy. It was certain that Leo was indeed no ordinary upper class noble.

Red who also saw the appearance of the jewelry box immediately stood up and stood swiftly behind Leo, like a knight escorting his master. Leo smiled again at Red who was behind him.

“This proof. This is a jewelry box where a jewel with the ancient symbol of the Kingdom of Lilyum is engraved in it” Leo said as he opened the jewelry box.

It looks like a jewel with a bright silver white color with gold carvings embedded in it. ‘Indah’ one word likens the gem. The lion symbol bravely propped up a door on the right and left. Under the door is a ribbon that connects the two legs of the lion with the words ‘Gia Aionia Doxa’. The silver door carved a large, lush tree with two people visible there. On the right side, a woman wearing a flower arrangement was standing carrying a long stick with a winding plant that had never been seen by Edgar. On the left, there was a young man with a shepherd's wand being lifted up. Also seen in front of the tree there is a sword that stuttered handsomely. On top of the tree is also seen a scale with a semi-circular sun that shines brightly behind it.

“In the Kingdom of Lilyum, only the pure-blooded royal family is allowed to carry this symbol. Even though you are a royal family of the royal family, you do not have the right to carry this symbol. Because it is a rule that can not be contested by anyone.” Obviously Leo who was heard by Edgar's ears made him come to his senses.

Leo stood up from his seat and closed his jewelry box, disappearing along with the magic circle on the table.

“I guess I got here first for the introduction, Edgar. We must immediately return to the palace” said Leo who suddenly had run out to the exit.

Meanwhile, Red is ready in front of Leo to open the door.

“Hee?” Edgar's response is still examining Leo's speech. ‘Kita? Back to Palace?’ Edgar's mind in his mind.

Leo stopped and looked back, found Edgar who was still silent “Don't just daydream. Remember Edgar, you will start working for me today. And this is your first job, which is to follow me to Istas” Leo said as he waited for Edgar to make a move.

Edgar let out a long sigh “Ha~ah, alright. It looks like this is going to be a troublesome job” complained Edgar as he ranted from his seat and walked after Leo behind him.

The three of them walk together led by Red who opens the door for them and Edgar who walks behind Leo. Arriving at the main door of the main house, Leo gave a farewell to Red

“Red, next thing, I leave it to you” Leo said before passing by with Edgar following him and leaving Red at the mansion alone.
