The Trumpet of Seraphim

The Trumpet of Seraphim
Mother-in-law

The next day Gamal and Sera were on as usual. Gamal first escorted Sera to campus before leaving for his office.

"Darid your teacher be polite to you?" actually, since knowing that the man who approached his wife was Arnold, a friend who had been familiar with him when he was in college, Gamal became disturbed.

"He's actually very polite, just because he's over-attentive, so it makes me feel uncomfortable" Sera explained.

Sera felt that Arnold had been polite enough so far because he had never touched or said anything disrespectful to her. Arnold has enough manners as a man who is chasing a girl. The way is quite elegant and like a good man. It's just that his mistake was that he approached a married woman. But it was not a hundred percent Arnold's fault, because he never knew that Sera was married. There was no chance for Sera to explain and tell her married and married status to the lecturer.

"Why are you suddenly asking like that?" Sera wondered why Gamal suddenly asked her, but all this time her husband was the type who did not really care about such things.

"Ah that's okay, I just want to make sure that if she's still within polite limits that means it's her right to like you, as long as you don't respond!" Gamal.

"You're not being suspicious and accusing me of anything, are you?" Sera squinted her eyes.

"Of course not my dear, I always believe in you!" Gamal directly stroked Sera's cheek gently.

"Thank God, I thought you were suspicious and not trusting of my loyalty!" Sera sighed.

"No, I believe that my wife is the most loyal woman" Gamal then kissed Sera's hand and did not let go of her grasp.

"Thank you" Sera smiled at the statement from her husband.

"Together my dear, yes have learned diligently and passion, then later go home to college carefully" Gamal kissed Sera's tiny lips when her car had stopped right in front of the gate of the campus.

"Yes, be careful on the road yes, the working spirit of my dear husband" Sera waved her hand as she was about to close the car door.

Gamal then drove his car after confirming Sera disappeared from his view.

..........

"Sera do you know that all the funds needed have been collected?" Ari who saw Sera approaching him and the other friends in the classroom hall opened the conversation.

"Wahhh really? isn't that still tens of millions?" Sera surprised.

"True, said our senior brother, there was a wealthy director who was generous and donated his money for the event voluntarily, even more than we needed!" Bitha excited.

"So the dana section is no longer working dong?" Sera was happy because it meant that she did not have to bother looking for donors and communicate with Arnold directly to report the progress of her fund search.

"Yes right, we just need to prepare ourselves to be participants for the event later" said Ari.

"Good then!" sera's smile grew.

"Eh yuk already entered, soon the lecturer came" Indah reminded her friends.

"Yes, come in, we'll sit down again!" Bitha always wanted the four of them to sit together.

The four of them then walked towards the classroom and looked for seats that were close to each other for them to sit on. Sera is very grateful for making good friends like Bitha, Indah and Ari.

..........

"No sir, my invitation is still on the road" Sera replied.

"Don't want to be with me?" Arnold is back to the opportunity.

"Thank you sir for the kindness, but later my driver pity that there is no me" Sera looked for an excuse to refuse.

"It doesn't matter" Arnold immediately sat in alignment with Sera.

Kringg,,,, uh,,,

Sera's phone rang.

"Halo ma" Sera raised the video call mode.

"Dear you're still on campus?" Maya called her daughter-in-law.

"Yes ma, I'm still on campus waiting for the driver" replied Sera.

"Would you come home from college and stop by Mommy Ayu's house for a second?" Maya asked.

"What's the matter at mommy Ayu ma's house?" Sera curious.

"Mama, Mommy and Mommy want to make a surprise party for Ruth's grandma who will be birthday, Gaby's sister is also at Mommy Ayu's house" explained Maya.

"OK!" Sera is instantly excited when she learns that her goal of getting together is to celebrate her grandmist birthday.

"Yes already, be careful on the street huh dear, until meet at mommy's house" Maya waved her hand.

"Yes ma, I'll be there soon" Sera replied as she returned Maya's hand and then hung up her phone.

"I'm sorry sir so dicuekin" Sera is not good because every time Arnold there is always someone who calls him.

"It's okay, just relax!" said Arnold.

"Is that your mom?" arnold asked enthusiastically, he even felt happy when he knew many things about Sera's personal life.

"That's my mother-in-law sir, my husband's mother" Sera replied seriously, she felt this was her chance to tell her married status.

"really? are you married? really, a kid like you already had a husband? hahahaha" Arnold couldn't believe it, he thought that Sera was joking.

"Sure sir, that was my in-laws!" Sera showed an upset face that even looked very adorable in Arnold's eyes, the man even still considered it a joke.

"Yes, yes, well I believe! hahahaha" said Arnold who still keeps calling it just a joke while showing his gel mimic looking at Sera's annoyed face.

"This is a strange person, it's been said that mama-in-law why not believe it anyway?" Sera bemonologues in her heart in annoyance.

It didn't take long Sera finally got away from Arnold and went home to Ayu's house. He left Arnold in the campus lobby with a heart that was blooming because he could spend the rest of the afternoon with the girl of love. The man who was drunk kepayang even did not touch the statement of Sera who claimed to have been married so much he loved the young girl.
