Meet Sera

"What do you want to eat?" Niken asked Gamal as the waiter approached them.

"Just like you" Gamal answered.

"Well, I ordered two and this is also two" Niken told the waiter.

"Well ladies, wait a minute" then the waiter left their table.

"It's sister" Niken handed over a letter with a hospital logo overseas.

"What's this?" Gamal looked at the letter with question marks.

"Read to understand" Niken smiled.

Gamal who read the letter immediately looked at Niken with a difficult to interpret gaze.

"Why didn't you ever tell me that?" Gamal finally made a sound after a while digesting the contents of the letter.

"I'm sorry, I'm afraid to make you worry" Niken lowered her head.

"How are you doing now?" Gamal took a careful look at Niken's face.

"I'm fine, as you can see now" Niken smiled sweetly.

"Explain to me everything" Gamal looked into Niken's beautiful eyes trying to find a real situation.

"Since the beginning of our relationship I have been declared kidney failure by doctors, once a week I have to wash my blood and receive regular treatment. At first everything went well until one day I was completely unable to get out of bed and had to get a suitable kidney donor. It took me years of patience to get the right fit for me, until I finally got it and got one kidney. And as you can see, after I got the donor, now I can live as usual again, even with just one kidney" Niken explained at length.

"Why haven't you ever been honest with me?" Gamal felt his body go limp as soon as he listened to this poignant story.

"I'm afraid big brother is worried" Niken shed her tears.

"But with you disappearing without news for years it's only getting me worried!" Gamal wiped away the tears dripping down Niken's cheek.

"Sorry" is just an sorry word.

"Huffff" while Gamal can only breathe heavily. When he was able to accept Niken's departure and tried to open his heart to Sera, he was faced with two very difficult choices.

"Excuse me" the waiter delivered their order food.

"Thank you" Niken nodded politely.

"Good fun" after finishing the task, the servant then left them both.

"Let's eat our brother" Niken thrust their favorite menu first in front of Gamal.

They eat in silence and dissolve in their minds. Neither Niken nor Gamal had any intention of opening their voices first to start the conversation until the food they ordered ran out.

"Sera, Rachel!" Niken who was sitting facing the door of the restaurant spontaneously shouted when she saw the two young girls enter the restaurant with a joking laugh.

"Sera!?" Gamal who heard the name of his favorite girl called directly looked back.

"Sir Niken? Brother Gamal?" Rachel immediately gawked at the two people who were having lunch together, while Sera could only speak a thousand languages.

"Here join" Niken invites them to sit at the same table.

"Where are you from?" Niken now looked at Sera who had not spoken at all and was busy with her phone.

"We've been looking at the overseas university exhibition" Rachel who helped Sera answer because she understood her cousin's mood.

"Do you want to study abroad?" ask Niken.

"If I'm not, brother, I'm in the country, it's likely that Sera will be studying abroad" Rachel replied as she looked towards Gamal to see her reaction, and sure enough Gamal immediately react by staring intently at Sera who was still busy opening his phone.

"What would Sera want to study?" Niken asked innocently without knowing the real situation.

"I'll take my designer school" Sera replied with a forced smile.

"Wahhh was great" Niken praised Sera.

"Thank you" said Sera.

"Halloo?" Sera who got the incoming call answered him directly.

"really? luke, I'll be there right now, wait for me!" sera's smile immediately expanded.

"What's wrong?" ask Rachel.

"Laptop I meet, I'll go to Luke's place right now" Sera said happily.

"I'm coming!" Rachel, who does not want to be a mosquito repellent in the middle of Gamal and Niken, finally follows Sera.

"We'll excuse you" Rachel said goodbye, while Sera had walked ahead in a hasty move, leaving Niken both with Gamal upset that Sera wanted to see Luke.
