The Trumpet of Seraphim

The Trumpet of Seraphim
Homesickness

After air travel for nearly twelve hours, Sera finally arrived at her destination. Although it looks like he is walking alone, but in fact the escort is very tight. Mike's confidants are guerrilla around Sera with full alert level.

"Welcome miss, please" A middle-aged man opened the car door for Sera.

"Thank you" Sera replied politely.

After Sera entered, the pickup car then drove up to break up the busy city streets. Along the way Sera tried to enjoy the beauty of the city that will be his residence in the next few years.

"Dad, mother, I miss you" Sera spoke inwardly.

Although this was not his first time here, it was his first experience to go away from home alone for such a long period of time that he felt very much missed by his family.

"Our number has arrived" the driver disperse Sera's daydreams.

"Oh yes, thank you sir" Sera then got out of the car and into a luxurious house that has been provided by her father for her residence during her studies here.

"Welcome miss, let me help bring you her bag" a female servant greeted Sera respectfully.

"Thank you" Sera who got help from the servant smiled kindly.

"Let me take you to your room, miss" the waiter showed Sera's room.

"Yes, thank you" Sera thanked him again and then followed the waiter.

"This is your room lady, if you need anything, you can call me through this button" the waiter gave the information.

"Yes, fine" Sera nodded.

"Then excuse me, happy resting lady" the servant lowered his head.

"Yes, thank you yes" Sera replied with a smile and nodded politely.

Although Sera was the son of a rich man, he was always taught manners by his parents, so that he could respect anyone he met including the domestic workers who served him daily.

"Hello mother" Sera waved her hand as her video connection was active.

"Darling, have you arrived?" ask Ananda.

"Already bun, I've been up since three hours ago, this is me just finished bathing and cleaning my things" Sera explained.

"Are you okay?" Ananda was worried.

"I'm good bun, all the servants here are very helpful and friendly" Sera praised the quality of service that has been prepared by Mike.

"Thank God, then, have you rested yet?" Ananda who did not want his son tired was curious.

"Not bun, any minute" Sera replied honestly.

"Then rest, do not forget to eat baby" said the mother.

"Yes bun, then I go to sleep first yes, very sleepy anyway" Sera lay down on her spacious bed.

"She kid, have a good rest, have a good dream" Ananda did not want the princess exhausted.

"Okay, dear old man, until later, yes, I love you so much" Sera waved.

"I love you more dear" Ananda returned the hand of her beloved youngest daughter.

After the phone connection was cut off, Sera then tried to close her eyes so she could sleep, but somehow the shadow of Gamal danced in her head.

"What's wrong with you?" he cursed himself who felt stupid for not being able to remove the shadow of Gamal from his memory.

"Stop thinking about it, focus Sera, focus!" he again criticized himself.

Sera continued to wrestle with her own mind until she finally felt tired and sleepy because of the drowsiness that struck.
