Chapter 42:Mission 2!
Seeing Edward leave the room with the High Emperor Spirit Method, Violet shook her head. With helplessness in his voice, he said."I'll trust you for now."
Edward looked at the other clan members, each shocked, as he walked out of the room .. With a gentle shrug of her shoulders, she waited for Violet before the two aimlessly walked forward, casually chatting.
Since they had two hours together, Violet and Edward were in no hurry to head outside. Since the Spiriy Method Pavilion was usually forbidden to everyone, it was a rare opportunity to be there today. Thus, they decided to satisfy their curiosity.
Just as they were about to leave the path of fire, Violet casually entered the small room and took the scroll of the Low Earth Spirit Method. Accompanying Edward, they then continued their journey down the other aisles.
Today would be the noisiest day of the year in the Spirit Method Pavilion. Each passageway had many people crowding between its walls while everyone had a very excited look in their eyes as they smashed into the red energy curtain. Every time the curtain broke, another shout of excitement could be heard.
In this pleasant atmosphere, even Edward had a faint smile on his tiny face.
Ding!
[Mission 2 has been opened.].
[Give help to Mindy Collin!]
[Reward: 20 System Points and Techniques of Earth-Class High-Level Fighters.]
Edward paused for a moment when he heard the sound of the system.
Mission 2?
Edward looked at the panel in front of him that showed the 2nd mission assignment.
Edward nodded, although the reward was only 20 points of Earth-class High-tier Battle system and technique, but it was still much higher than the battle techniques present in the Collin clan. After all, having a lot of techniques was a good thing.
Walking out of the other hallway, Edward was done looking around. Stretching her body, she laughed while looking at Violet."We have to go, it's almost time!."
Although he said that, there was a slight sense of reluctance behind his voice, it was because he could not complete his mission. Though Edward had already surrounded all the places in the Spirit Method Pavilion.
Nodding indifferently, Violet followed Edward around the corner before heading straight for the exit of the Spirit Method Pavilion.
After walking through one of the paths, Edward's eyebrows shot up with excitement. Not too far away, she could see Mindy's red dress. His charming face reddened as he walked continuously in front of the barrier. Based on his appearance, it seemed like he tried everything he could to obtain the Spirit Method but was unable to break through the barrier …
Today, Mindy is wearing a beautiful red outfit with a slightly tight skirt and ribbon on her waist, which ties tightly around her waist.
Right now, her pure and beautiful face looked anxious as her brows braided sweetly. The clans around him practically fell in love trying to talk to him.

Mindy's mood got worse that second, she was basically almost desperate. Before today, his father had secretly told him the room number, telling him that it was important to hold onto that Spieit Method. After understanding every possible method and spending hours, he finally got a snippet of information from the people in charge of setting up the Spirit Method Pavilion. He knew that if Mindy could obtain the Wind Attribute High Emperor Spirit Method, then he would be ahead of everyone else in the power grabbing race.
Although Mindy's father got the exact room number, he forgot to consider the sturdiness of the barrier in the room. Mindy was outdoors for an entire hour, but she was unable to break through her protection and although the other clan members were drooling to help her, they could not even shake the protective wall. The protective curtain could only be attacked by one person at a time and if the barrier detected two or more people trying to break through it, it would increase its defense. In the end, it was like trying to pull water using a bucket that was a hole.
Now, two hours have passed. If he can't break the protection in the room immediately, then Mindy will end up empty-handed. Thinking about the consequences of not being able to obtain a single Spirit Method, Mindy's beautiful eyes could not petrify but start to water.
With a misty look, he shook his head with a bitter smile. Looking around, her beautiful brows rose when she saw someone familiar.
Not too far away was a black-clothed young man holding both his hands behind his head with a calm expression on his face.
The other clans around Mindy noticed a new change in her appearance and followed her gaze to find Edward. Their low chatter slowly subsided as their gazes had a hint of respect.
Edward had been assured of sufficient strength to make the young clan members look respectfully at him, all because of his performance at the maturity ceremony a few days ago.
For a moment, the originally noisy path immediately became quiet.
Even under a dozen gazes, Edward still walked forward with a look of indifference. Even without looking sideways at Mindy who could not formulate her words, she walked past him …
With her red lips slightly opened, Mindy looked at Edward who had just ignored her, stunned at the treatment she received. After a while, her beautiful face became filled with self-deprecation, as she gently shook her head. The anger that appeared within him disappeared quickly as he recalled the attitude he had shown to Edward in the past.
"Ha ha, this must be retaliation, I'm really a disgusting person. You reap what you sow .. "Mindy gently crouches to the ground. His shoulders twitched slightly as a stiff cry echoed throughout the quiet passageway.
Looking at Mindy who looked like an abandoned kitten as she sat on the ground, the young clan members around her sighed sadly while shaking their heads.
Mindy cried lightly as she squatted on the ground. But he suddenly felt something wrong around him and slowly raised his crying face only to be shocked.
The young man who had walked away had turned around and walked slowly towards Mindy with his hands behind his head.
"Surge!."Edward said indifferently as he glanced at Mindy.
"Ah? Oh …….".The startled Mindy immediately recovered with the hypocrisy returning to her pretty face and behaving like an obedient little girl.
Under the curious yet grateful gazes of those present, Edward stood in front of the curtain guarding the door. With his right leg down to the back, the young man breathed lightly.
Everyone stay quiet. Then suddenly like thunder, he moved. Turning his body, Edward lifted his leg and like a whip, it advanced. Make sound ‘Kaka’, it rips the surrounding air.
"Bang!!!.".That ruthless kick landed on the barrier which caused ripples to quickly pierce through it. Finally, it broke out under everyone's shocked gazes.
His feet remained in the air for a while before Edward slowly brought his feet to the ground. Turning his neck slightly, he turned around and then walked towards the distant Violet.
"Sister Edward .... Thank you."Mindy fearfully thanked Edward who passed by.
"Yes." Yeah."
Edward glanced at the girl who had lost all arrogance and gave her a slight nod before disappearing from the eyes of the other clan members' admiration.
Ding!
[Success mission.].
