Hearing Violet's words, Mindy stopped and weighed her thoughts carefully. If it was another girl within the clan, Mindy was confident that she could win based on her beauty and talent, but towards Violet, Mindy could only admit defeat.

Looking at Edward's expressionless face, Mindy gave a self-deprecating smile and could only leave with defeat.

In Edward's room, after closing the door. Edward touched his chest and listened to the sound of a rapid heartbeat.
