31. Wound

"We will go to the mall to shop, once we get there, choose whatever you want, please don't show your side. Jose is your future husband, he's rich, buy anything, the money won't run out" Maria said as they headed to the mall with Jose as the driver.

Aninda only reacted in surprise to Maria's words as if she wanted to marry Jose. Inda continued to stare at the man who was incarnated as the driver. He thought he would one day marry Jose. But one question, is Jose willing to accept himself who is not this holy woman?

"I don't want to go to the Mall" Aninda said in a whisper to Maria.

Instantly, the middle-aged woman's forehead shriveled, "Why?"

Aninda shook her head, "I don't like such a place, the whole price of the goods is expensive, making me dizzy just to imagine it," said Inda gave an excuse.

Maria patted Inda's shoulder. "Had Mama told you, your future husband is a rich man. You have to get used to spending money, otherwise he will look for other women to spend money on each other that reaches the two quadrillion."

Maria's words again made her very surprised. If Aninda was a holy woman and would do anything for money, then Aninda would not waste it. But everything is different. Aninda is not that kind of woman.

"Aninda wants to go to the park or tourist attractions, Ma," Aninda asked so as not to go to the mall.

"No-no. Mama wouldn't allow it. You have to shop, this time Mama forced!" mama said firmly.

Aninda was silent and lowered.

Aninda's behavior can certainly be seen and felt by Jose because the man occasionally shows back through the mirror.

"Ma, we'd better go to the tourist site. There Inda can breathe fresh air, Jose happens to have a tourist area near here, we go there huh?" jose asked for permission.

Finally Maria according to Jose's request who wanted it not too force Aninda.

They go to one of the beach attractions that is famous for its clear water.

"Mama just want to take a break. You just take Aninda anywhere, the important thing is interesting,” said Maria after there are carpets and shady umbrellas in her place.

Jose held the woman beside him. Afraid of losing his mind.

But for Inda who has begun to open up to Jose, this hand touch managed to make her mood flowery.

Unknowingly, Inda even saw Jose who had a tall body. The difference between the height of Inda and Jose is like a father's son. Inda was only shoulder-height Jose.

"Is there something strange on my face?" jose asked while fumbling at his cheeks.

"Em not." Inda answered nervously. The woman looked away and saw her feet filled with sand while walking.

"Yes" replied Inda.

"There's coconut ice. We'll go there yuk," take Jose.

"Can."

Jose pulls out Inda's hand and takes her towards the coconut ice merchant, but Inda's leg stumbles over the roots of the coconut tree.

"Awh!"

Luckily, Jose caught Inda's body.

"My feet, sick!" Aninda hissing. As Jose looked, the woman's small leg was sandwiched between the two tree roots.

"How is this," Jose murmured while thinking how to release Inda's leg without making the woman in pain.

Finally Jose tried to pull both roots with both hands, but the roots were too big and Jose's strength was not comparable.

"I'm trying to get a knife."

Jose went to the ice-coconut seller to ask for a knife and the seller agreed.

After struggling to cut the roots of the tree, Jose holds Aninda back to Maria's place.

"Why, Jose?" maria asked in panic.

"His leg was pinched by a tree root there," Jose said as he lowered Aninda.

Mary looked at Aninda's feet and felt pity, "It must have hurt," Mary murmured.

"Where Mama doesn't bring any more ointments."

White feet Aninda bruised. There's a little visible wound there.

"Let's just take her to the hospital" suggested Maria who panicked.
