The Substitute Bride

The Substitute Bride
19. Motherly

Jose sits in the Park not far from the Mall where Jose left Inda.

The man seemed confused, because he did not see a change in the card he gave to aging which in fact he was testing his greedy nature.

Jose knew very well that all women would submit to money, not even hesitate to show their true nature thirsty for the tool of exchange.

Jose has bought all the necessary items to go to the beach, all the money runs out of a million more just to buy Inda swimming equipment and snacks. But until now, Jose did not see any signs of Inda spending a penny from the card he was given.

”That girl wasn't robbed people ‘kan?” jose asked in the air after seeing no cell phone notifications about ATM balance reduction.

“But if robbed, there must be a balance reduction especially now it's almost an hour I've left shopping. Or, he doesn't even know how to use the card? Dia ‘kan plain. Huh, even though I left her there to make her shop. Unknowingly, I've created a new problem for him.”

Eventually Jose discovers the secret behind the mystery of no dwindling ATM balances. This makes Jose rush to the original point of Jose leaving the girl. But the result is nil, Jose did not find the existence of Inda anywhere.

“She didn't disappear ‘kan?” Jose was very afraid if Inda even strayed that ended up being colonized by people. Moreover, Inda's kind demeanor and almost flawless work, would make Jose feel like a very useless person in this world.

Jose kept looking for Inda's whereabouts like a doormat. He touches the shoulders of women who may have the same hair and clothes as Inda, but Jose has not found the real Inda so far.

Until Jose was almost desperate, he heard the voice of women telling stories in the children's reading area.

“Kancil keeps thinking, about how he can cross this great river without having to! passing through this cold and swift river, brothers. If you're in the Kancil position, what do you do?”

The anxiety and worry experienced by Jose changed to be amazed by Inda which was not lost or harmed by people.

Somehow he was happy to see Inda who cared for children by telling fairy tales how good it was.

‘If she were to become a mother, she would definitely be very skilled and independent. Now still girls alone can make the children feel at home on his side. Especially when you have children. Her children must be very smart, guided and lucky to get a Mom like her.’

Jose thought under his subconscious. But when he became aware of his thoughts, he dodged. “I can't think until I get there. I know she's kind, skilled and now child-loving. But the end of our relationship is only until the wicked woman returns from hiding. I can't let it be by my side even if I want it next to me.”

Jose saw Inda in the children's book reading area. Dannn, Jose saw the girl go back missing! “Where is he?” Jose was panicking. How could Inda be lost in the blink of an eye. ‘What because I've been daydreaming for so long?’ think Jose again with the most reasonable possibilities.

Jose scratched his head. ‘Where else should I look?’

Jose feels compelled to take Aninda out of the Villa. "It seems like next time I'll ask Ben or anyone else as a courier to buy things at the Villa."

"Don't be like that." Inda's very sweet and different voice made Jose turn to the source of the voice. He looked at Aninda with a smile, slowly approaching towards her alone.

"So invited the children to buy ice cream," replied Inda.

Soon Jose opened his phone and saw, no money was reduced at all. "Where's the money for ice cream?" Jose knows very well, Inda does not bring a penny because Jose has not given any groceries during at Villa or here other than the ATM card.

"Hem." Inda put her index finger on her chin. His eyes looked to the right, as if thinking, "From the money in the washing machine."

Jose's forehead shriveled. "Washing machine?" the washing machine does not make money. But why did Inda say washing machine?

"Yes, washing machine. I always clean your clothes. And definitely find blue and red money sheets in the pockets of shirts and pants. I collected it and got almost a million."

Jose's dumbfounded. 'I didn't know he kept all that money and brought it here.' Although Jose has money in his ATM card, but still he likes to buy things with paper money. Because for him the banknotes felt real and established familiarity with many people he met.

"And, I've also bought the things I want. Here goes!" Inda showed me all the things she wanted so badly. Some shopping bags containing three ten thousand sale clothes from one of the laundry store warehouse in the mall.

"Whose clothes are there for?" Jose saw a lot of clothes in that grocery bag. Nothing interesting, even impressed plain. Until based on the rough language, it can be said that the clothes are ugly and kampungan.

"There were a lot of poor people on our way here. All my needs in your house have been so fulfilled that I thought helping people would make them feel helped."

Jose doesn't believe, Inda's mind is the same as Maria's mother who lived a very simple life but still helped people with a few percent of the company's profits.

"Can we visit them to give them these clothes?"

"Food doesn't come, too?"

Inda was silent for a moment. But soon he smiled by showing a row of white teeth and wrinkled eye bags. "All the money is up" replied Inda, short solid and very astounding.

"Usually if you want to share it must be complete. Moreover, you know I'm making money. At least there should be food. Because food is the primary need of every normal human being in this world," explained Jose.

"For just a few people. It's not even fifty. I was also fighting with other mothers" explained Inda looking sad. Although in fact he only wanted to take Jose's sympathy so that the man would allow him to only give decent clothes to the street man.

"If they knew we were sharing, the number of people there would be more than expected. They invited their friends without being asked. I've been in a sharing environment like that. So I understand more. Just so you know, the two of us or just you yourself who share, will not be enough. So it's worth inviting a few extra people as volunteers."

"Kids?"
