Shahzad's parents, who do not yet know about his son's relationship with the Indonesian girl, are still trying to find a life partner for his youngest son.
In December, Shahzad and Naeem returned to Pakistan. Naeem's wedding party's set.
Shahzad sent a picture of Naeem's future wife to Nazulfa.
"Mashallah.., what a beautiful look this Pakistani woman has.." Nazulfa murmured
Shahzad and Naeem had already booked a ticket for their return. One week they will return to their hometown.
During the night while packing the goods to be brought, Shahzad called Nazulfa..
"Assalamualaikum." said Shahzad
"Waalaikumsalam." - Nazulfa
"It's my middle pack of stuff, there's winter, last night I and Naeem went shopping for some blankets, watches, and souvenirs for the family" Shahzad said.
"Well, your family must be very happy to welcome your return." said Nazulfa.
"I miss Ami ji, Abu ji, my brothers, and my village. Since I went to Malaysia, I have never been to Pakistan. This is the first time I go home, later I will take care of our marriage documents as well." Shahzad said.
"I pray that you will be safe until Pakistan meets ami ji abu ji and your family." said Nazulfa.
"Watch is also good, take care of yourself, healthy ye.. Wait for me Malaysian balek bring all the documents we need to get married" Shahzad said.
"Inshallah.., I must be waiting for you. Do not worry me in Indonesia is the same family." said Nazulfa.
"I balek Pakistan only 2 weeks, not long, because the work leave should not be long.., many events at the end of the year and the beginning of the year." said Shahzad.
"Okay.." replied Nazulfa.
They ended the conversation and hung up the phone.
The day Shahzad and Naeem left has arrived. They are at the KLIA gate. PIA (Pakistan International Airline).
Information was heard to let passengers immediately enter the plane. They flew for over 6 hours.
A PIA plane from Kuala Lumpur has landed at Alama Iqbal International Airport. Shahzad and Naeem were taking care of their luggage which was almost 100kg in weight.
At the exit, their families were waiting. Ami ji, Afsha or commonly called Guriya is the younger sister of Shahzad, as well as her brother who is in Lahore.
When Shahzad and Naeem came out immediately hugged his beloved ami.. Then his brother and his sister..
Everyone was happy and ami ji was especially the happiest. Moreover, the return of his two sons to hold a marriage.
But that makes a little ami restless because Shahzad who still does not want to be married.
One night they rested at the house of the brother not far from Lahore airport, and the next day went straight back to the village in Samriyal, Sialkot.
In the village, everyone greeted them with love.. Looks have a lot of equipment for the Mehndi event to be made at home.
It's just a few days away from Naeem's wedding date. Today all of Shahzad's siblings have arrived in Pakistan. Uk, Manchester, Saudia and Dubai. Only Shahzad and Naeem are in Malaysia because their English is not so good.😁
Since childhood Shahzad if the night before bed he always massage feet ami ji. And tonight he did too. Ami ji asked Shahzad.
"Princess.. Malaysia ki hale?" tanya ami ji in Punjabi.
(My child.. How Malaysia).
"Tikh hai ma ji's.. Malaysia bohut acha hai." replied Shahzad quietly.
(Okay ma ji, Malaysia is very good)
Actually in the heart of a mother already printed something happened to her son in Malaysia. Until Shahzad refused his ami request. Since childhood Shahzad never denied both his parents. Whatever his mother said he would do. But why is Shahzad always reject his mother's request. Although subtle and gentle, but ami ji heart sad because the first time Shahzad changed attitude like this.
"Mera betha's.. Karlo shadi.. Hamari pass pehle se hai eik umiduar hai." said ami ji.
(My child.. Get married. We already have a candidate who is ready to get married).
"Mere pyari ma's.. Mujhe sorry because.. Meine idher nahi shadi karunga." Shahzad joked. In his heart that is the truth.
Hearing Shahzad's answer, his mother laughed as her son told her a joke. Ami ji thinks maybe her son just doesn't want to be married yet.
He is busy with his extended family, as well as Naeem's wedding preparations. Shahzad forgot to tell Nazulfa that he was currently a little busy.
Before leaving for Pakistan, Shahzad also forgot to tell him that his village was very difficult to signal. The house has not installed wifi either. So while he was in Malaysia used to call Pakistan with a pulse.
While in Indonesia, Nazulfa who was left behind has been restless and anxious. Nazulfa decided to return to his parents' village because he had stopped working.
Shahzad's first day in Pakistan, Shahzad only sent a short message that he had landed safely.
After that for days Shahzad did not give any news. Nazulfa who had been thinking things out now just stared out the window of his room.
Why does his heart feel pain and like it is beating fast. He could no longer hold his feelings.
He decided to buy a 50k pulse to call Shahzad.
"Tuuttt.. tuuutt.. tuuttt.." Nazulfa's call.
"Hello... Assalamualaikum.." Shahzad's voice softly.
"Vaalaikumsalam.. You're how are you.. Why don't I bole whatsap you." asked Nazulfa.
"I'm kind.. Sorry I was so busy I forgot to hear." replied Shahzad.
"Tiiittt.." Suddenly the call was dead.
By the time Nazulfa checked his 50rb pulse was gone.
But his heart was a little relieved to hear Shahzad's voice.
As Nazulfa was about to leave his room, his cell phone rang.. He also looked at his phone.
"Whatsapp video call from Shahzad.." Nazulfa murmured
"Helloo's.. Nazulfa.." call Shahzad darisana.
"Yes Shahzad" replied Nazulfa smiling.
"Look at this I'm above the house, below the signal can't be. Try to see this is my village (while turning the camera back). It's the middle of winter." Shahzad told me how it was.
It is obvious that Shahzad speaking from his mouth comes out like acid or steam due to the cold air.
Before long, his sister called Shahzad to come down. He was asked to try on clothes for mehndi, Nikah, Baraat and Walima later.
"Mehendi" is a mined night. It is carried out separately between the family of the groom and the family of the bride. There the whole family will rub the oil in the bride's hair, apply mehendi on the palm of the hand that has been lined up, and feed the barfi to the mouth of the bride.
"Barfi" is a white Indian and Pakistani-style sweets made from sugar and milk.
Marriage ceremony is almost the same as Indonesia, because Pakistan is also an Islamic country. Nearly 90% of Pakistanis follow Islam.
"Baraat" is a reception event in the bride's family, and carries out some customary rituals. Then the woman was immediately taken home to the groom's family.
"Walima" is a reception event in the groom's family. In Indonesia we usually call "Ngudoh Mantu".
Such is the set of Pakistani cultural customs, and many more cannot be explained in detail.
