Chapter 4 The Debate in the Hall

Rendy stood with Johan as dozens of pairs of eyes started looking at him strangely.

They glanced at Rendy with fear, they considered her a threat. It was dangerous out there, of course, it would be illogical if ordinary disciples could still survive those zombies.

“ Get him out of the hall !” Shouted a man who had a big head.

After that shout, many debates began to echo throughout the hall.

“ Remove him !”

“ Johan, why did you bring the infected disciple ?!"

“ Him from outside ? It's certain he's infected.”

“ Yes, ordinary students where can survive outside ?”

“ The boy is not one class with Dusk and Johan. Worth it, Johan brought it in.”

A footsteps rang out as everyone who was originally noisy began to lower their voices.

A man stepped in with an authoritative step and a gentle face, he smiled, yet everyone felt that smile was extremely dangerous and frightening.

The man walked over while looking at Rendy calmly.

“ Jo, isn't it nice to bring an infected person into the hall. I know you're strong, but bringing your infected friend is like trying to kill us. I hope you can get your friend out, or we won't be friends.”

“ What nonsense, I am not your best friend, you better get away, my sword has no eyes ! One more thing, Rendy is not infected at all !"

Johan raised his sword.

“ Look, Johan seems to prefer to let his friend in rather than save us. He's not infected ? Can Johan guarantee it?”

The man's words of provocation caused the crowd to stir. Everyone shouted at Johan, some even cursing at him with inappropriate words. The peaceful atmosphere seemed to disappear in an instant.

“ Shut up ! If you guys don't want me to join, no problem, I'll be out !”

Rendy's shout instantly stopped the commotion in the hall, but it seemed that the face of the man near Johan was still unchanged and instead smiled faintly. He seemed to have expected this to happen, so he remained calm.

The reason Rendy came to this place was because Johan invited her. As a friend, Johan has helped her so much. He did not want to burden her with his presence.

Since he helped her, many parties sneered at him. If Rendy still insists, Johan's name might get tainted.

“ That's how if you're aware, now go. Don't make the crowd afraid.”

“ Norman, you are outrageous !”

Johan clasped his sword tightly, his gaze filled with anger.

Norman looked at Johan casually, but his arm was already prepared in case of the worst possibility.

Rendy walked over a bit then patted Johan on the shoulder and said,” Jo, no need. If you attack this trash, the mutant zombies outside will probably hear all of us.”

“ You're right,” Johan nodded lightly.

“ Alright, I will allow your friend to stay, but he will be watched closely. Who can guess if he will be a zombie some time in the future ?”

“ What Norman is too good ?”

“ Could he be afraid of Brother Johan ?”

“ Afraid of what, obviously brother Norman is giving waivers for Johan. Johan should have thanked Brother Norman !”

The sound of the crowd stopped as Rendy sat in a corner, away from the crowd. A few white-clothed disciples sat near him. They stared at Rendy like a tiger in chains, their eyes very sharp.

Although Johan was their leader, what Norman thought was for their safety. If Rendy turned into a zombie, it was likely that there would be one person bitten by her, they did not want such a thing to happen.

If they keep this disciple within a maximum of five minutes, they will release him because the maximum time of change is for a maximum of 5 minutes.

Hour after hour passed, the time they passed by was quite long. Many students start to look bored, some even get sleepy.

The situation felt very tense in a few hours. Zombies are spreading and wandering everywhere making a nightmare for anyone.

The originally deserted class corridor was now filled with several zombies walking slowly.

While a heavy breath sounded from the distance, making some zombies suddenly move away from the standing figure staring intently around.

The sight was terrifying, if anyone saw it, they seemed to feel a feeling like they were seeing a life-depriving angel before them who was ready to tear every inch of their flesh and blood.

A man sat pensively like a slacker, not knowing what to do. There were a lot of strange thoughts running through his head.

If this is the apocalypse, why would he live in a place like this ?

Rather than doing this boring thing, he would rather do something before all humans went extinct. There is one thought that still holds it up to this day.

It was this thought that came to mind at this moment, he wanted to take revenge !

So when he did evil, they were blinded by Heru's achievements. They only considered the other party guilty of trying to harm Heru and defame him.

Heru's figure sat with a bored face and his eyes looked withered. It seemed that this peace made him not calm at all making him occasionally recall past events.

He met Norman for the first time. They then bet, who loses, he who becomes a subordinate. The street fight lasted for half an hour, and both were equally injured.

However, Norman could still stand firmly staring at him who had fallen.

Even though blood was pouring down his head and some bones were shifting, yet the man was still staring intently and firmly at him who had been lying helplessly.

He still remembered that terrifying moment in his mind.

Norman is a monster ! His strength is beyond his reasoning !

It seemed like if he trained hard though, he would still not be able to match the man's strength.
