Chapter 1 The Disaster Begins

A very bright day, the sun shines so beautifully like a tapestry of goose feathers swimming in space.

A seventeen-year-old youth with an oval face and brown eyes. He had a pretty handsome face with a calm expression.

His face also looked relaxed, yet he felt pain at the thought of the subjects he would face when the bell rang later.

The uniform is white and the pants are pitch black, with a black tie. Clothes like this are very similar to office workers' clothes, but that's the rules of the school.

Bakti Marga High School became the largest school in the city of Bangau and has a considerable reputation.

Rendy at the age of 17 years old has achieved good fortune by being accepted in the city of Bangau public school.

Just a few days ago his mother was brutally murdered by a robber who broke into their home.

Sadness is still clearly visible on Rendy's face and she has difficulty living a daily routine.

After the death of his mother, Rendy decided to work at his best friend's minimarket to make ends meet.

Despite the tragedy, Rendy remains calm and determined to move on. He knows he has responsibilities to fulfill and is determined to do his best.

He started turning on his phone and began to fall asleep in his favorite novel.

"Hey, look at that! Is that a meteor shower out the window?" shouted a student, attracting the attention of the entire room.

Rendy, who was immersed in her novel, also turned her head towards the window.

Even the teacher was also staring out the window with a mixture of awe and worry.

The students were clustered around the window, fascinated by the glittering show of the stars that flashed across the sky.

Rendy felt a little stunned and forgot about her problem for a moment as she looked at the spectacular light.

In the clear sky, hundreds of small fireballs suddenly appeared and looked like shooting stars.

Rendy and her friends feel the same way and also start to feel dizzy.

They fumbled their seats to hold themselves back, trying not to fall. But, the dizziness continues and becomes more and more.

Rendy was shocked when she turned to the window and saw people running around with faces of pain and panic outside.

No one spoke, as if they lost their voice. Rendy was agitated and scared because she knew that something abnormal was going on.

Suddenly, in an instant everyone fell to the ground and fell into a deep sleep.

Even in the entire city, activities were all at a standstill as not a single person was spared from this strange event.

A few hours later, Rendy opened her eyes with a dizzy feeling. He looked around and saw that everyone was still asleep.

This incident really made Rendy feel worried. What happened to this world?

The atmosphere suddenly turned strange and frightening for Rendy.

Everyone around him is asleep, including his tough best friend Johan. Rendy is unable to understand what happened, but she knows that she must find out soon.

While checking his surroundings, Rendy felt scared and agitated.

Something's not right here and he needs to take quick action. Carefully, he walked towards the sleeping people, trying to wake them up, but neither of them reacted.

Rendy's gaze returned to her best friend, who was still sound asleep.

He felt a little relieved that Johan was still breathing, but that only gave him a little relief.

Rendy grabbed Johan by the shoulder and tried to shake him, but there was no reaction at all.

Johan is known as the most athletic student in his class and always wins national level running matches. Now this handsome young man fell asleep like a slacker who did not like to do anything.

"Damn, what's going on here?" rendy murmured in the heart.

Still feeling dizzy, Rendy got up and walked slowly towards the door.

As Rendy stepped her foot towards the door, there was a roaring scream from a distance.

Silent for a moment, he looked around with a wary look, trying to identify the source of the sound.

However, there was no clue as to who was shouting loudly at the school.

Rendy opened her classroom door and saw the hallway of the school seem deserted like a grave.

"Ren, where are you going?" ask while yawning.

"I'm going to the room, man... Gerry's? You why?" rendy replied with an anxious tone.

"Rin? Gerry is still sleeping" said Gura with a confused face.

However after Gura spoke, Rendy pointed towards the fat figure standing behind Gura.

He felt horror all over his body. Gerry stared at them with blank and white eyes, like the appearance of a ghostly figure coming out of a horror movie.

Rendy immediately screamed when she saw the creepy Gerry pouncing and biting on Gura's neck.

Fresh blood flooded the table, Gura moaned in pain while Gerry continued to bite fiercely.

"GOOR GURA!" he yelled while trying to pull Gura out of Gerry's grip.

However, Gerry is too strong and can not be released.

While biting, Gerry who was like a wild beast groaned and snorted.

Rendy feels adrenaline rushing through her body as she searches for a way to save her friend who is caught in the deadly bite.

But late, Gura quickly fell to the ground, her face stopped with an expression of pain. He died !
