The Strange Life I Live

The Strange Life I Live
Begins

Zen was currently already in the Adventurers Guild building in the Great Dungeon region where he was located. With a fairly long queue, he finally began to be patient following the queue, so he was faced with a receptionist who he thought was very beautiful in appearance.

“There can I help?” ask the woman kindly.

Zen, who was still admiring the beauty of the woman, finally came to his senses and took out his adventurer card and the recommendation letter that the Guild Master of Pavel had given to the woman.

“I want to get access to enter Great Dungeon” reply Zen.

The woman was familiar with the seal of the letter Zen had given her and began to open it and read it for a moment. By checking the contents, finally the Zen adventurer card that was in the hands of the beautiful woman began to be affixed a sign in it.

“Show your Adventurers Guild card to the Adventurers Guild staff guarding the Great Dungeon entrance and you can enter it” the receptionist lady replied, after returning Zen's adventurer card.

“Ah.. well thank you” reply Zen while smiling kindly to the girl.

“Sama – equals. And make sure you are careful – hearted when you have entered the Great Dungeon” reply the woman while smiling and starting to serve back someone who is behind Zen and is waiting for his turn.

Zen just smiled to answer the words of the beautiful receptionist, and began to leave the place and head to a large building that soared into the sky to begin his adventure.

On the other hand, when Zen had already left the Adventurers Guild building, the receptionist who helped him earlier started to glance towards where Zen had gone and started muttering something.

“Hm... so he's the prince without the light that my father said yes.” muttered the woman back. But the woman's daydream began to stop after one began to invite her to chat.

“Halo Miss Mikaela, you are still beautiful as always” reply man with armor on his body.

“Thank you for the compliment sir. Then there's something I can help” reply the woman named Mikaela and start continuing her work.

Zen himself was currently starting to walk slowly following a few people who also wanted to enter the Great Dungeon. On sight, the adventurers who were about to enter the Great Dungeon had indeed walked together with his group to enter the place.

This is inversely proportional to Zen, because he walks alone and has no one to accompany him. But it did not discourage Zen from entering the Dungeon area and determined to be strong when entering it.

“Requires Support Mage!”

“It takes a Tanker to get to the 22” floor

“Requires a Porter”

Such was the writing of – on some papers that were plastered on a board, as Zen entered the Dungeon territory deepened. The – board was deliberately placed right on the side of the road, so that it can be seen by some people.

Usually the contents of the board to find some members to adventure together into the Dungeon. But Zen ignored it all, because he wanted to adventure himself and also he did not know anyone to accompany him.

“Your adventure card?” said a man guarding the entrance of the Great Dungeon that Zen was about to enter.

Indeed, every Dungeon would be managed by the Kingdom where the Dungeon was located. But to do that, the Royal Party would assign an Adventurer Guild to help them do so, as most of the people who entered the Great Dungeon were adventurers.

“This tuan” reply Zen while handing over his adventurer card.

“Rank E with recommendation” said the man while handing the Zen adventurer card to the person next to him to be recorded.

The man who received the Zen card only looked at Zen with a slightly disdainful look. Although he had a recommendation, but one-armed and only single-handedly entered the Dungeon like he was going to commit suicide upon entering it.

Zen began to receive his cards back and began to step foot towards the entrance of the Great Dungeon. But just as he was about to arrive at that huge entrance, countless merchants began to approach him peddling some items like Potions, Map, weapons and so on.

Of course Zen refused all the items they sold, until he finally managed to enter the Great Dungeon. A pretty gripping atmosphere greeted Zen as he set his feet first in the region.

With the help of Light Gem on the wall – the path wall he entered, Zen began to enter the place deeper and deeper. The deeper Zen walked, he finally found a large inscription that read [Floor 1].

The place is still crowded, because some people do enter this place along with Zen. A moment later, Zen then walked slowly and saw some people heading towards a place where there was a magic circle in that place.

By attaching their adventurer card to a small pulpit, they instantly disappeared from the place where the magic circle was located and disappeared somewhere.

“That teleportation circle” said a man next to Zen suddenly.

Of course Zen was immediately surprised by the man's existence, because he could not feel his presence at all, which indicated that the man was very strong.

“Introduce my name Gilvani” said the man introduced himself and ignored Zen who was still surprised by his existence.

“A-Ah my name is Zen” reply Zen who bent slightly reply to the introduction of the man.

The man named Gilvani came with his entire group, which Gilvani appeared to be a Swordman because he used the Light Armor with a sword on his back.

“It looks like you just entered the Great Dungeon” said the man back after seeing Zen who seemed to still notice the circumstances around when entering this place.

“Ah... yes this is my first time entering this place” Zen reply.

“Can you see your adventurer card?” ask the man back.

Zen did not know why the man in front of him wanted to see his adventurer card. But Zen chose to show him only his adventurer card, because indeed he felt that the man had no evil intentions to him.

Gilvani receives a Zen card and shows the back of Zen's adventurer card and will explain something to him.

“See this sign, this sign is without floor finish” reply Gilvani while showing a sign made by the receptionist on the adventurer card belonging to Zen earlier.

Behind the adventurer card, there were several columns containing some data. On the Zen card, only a column contains a data that reads [Skadi: 0].

“Skadi is the name of the Great Dungeon in this Raven kingdom and the number 0 next to it is the floor that you successfully completed” Gilvani replied while showing the writing that he was explaining.

On each floor of the Great Dungeon, the Adventurers Guild set a limit for adventurers to climb up to the next floor. For example, on the 1st floor, Zen must at least kill 100 monsters that are here, in order to climb up to the 2nd floor.

Actually adventurers can ignore the mission and go straight up the next floor or to any floor they want. But their card marks would not increase and make them unable to use the teleportation magic circle freely.

And also, jumping or passing through a floor was highly not recommended by the Adventurers Guild party. Because the right adventure is to go through the process that should be able to increase the strength of adventurers slowly.

“Well... If you have reached a certain floor, you do not need to ride a road to ride the next floor, you do not need to climb, and just have to stick your card on the altar of the teleportation magic circle and you will immediately ride the floor you are headed” reply Gilvani.

Although Zen only knew Gilvani, but the information given to him greatly helped him and began to understand the system of the Great Dungeon.

“Because a group friend of mine is waiting, so I'll go first. Remember be careful – heart and I will wait for you on the top floor of” said Gilvani who has left Zen.

“B-Good... and Thanks”.
