The Strange Life I Live

The Strange Life I Live
Towards the Great Dungeon

After knowing his sister would leave him, of course Yui was no longer eager to eat the food in front of him. But a gentle touch in his head made him start staring at the person who did that to him.

“Im sorry Brother okay... Brother make sure if Brother is already very strong, Brother will always be with Yui” said Zen who tried to comfort his sister.

Yui of course understood why her brother wanted to be strong, but it was still very heavy to have to part with someone who was already very close to him. But because this was his brother's decision, he had to accept it.

“Alright.. but make sure Big Brother don't linger – long leave Yui” reply Yui.

“Calm down, you don't have any peers with you anyway. So Kileni will definitely be perfect to be your first peer” reply Zen who is still trying to cheer up his sister.

Yui until now has never had an acquaintance with the age that resembles him, so this reason also makes Zen sure to leave himself in Lucas' house so that he can socialize with his peers, though Zen finds out Yui is still a year younger than Kileni.

“True your Brother said. Princess Aunty also has no peers, so surely she is very happy if you want to play with her.

Yui finally begins to accept that she will stay here temporarily. After all, it is true what his brother said, whose brother had to be strong to protect him and he did not want himself to cause his brother's dream to be hindered by him.

“Good... Yui will definitely be a good boy and wait for Big Brother to return to pick up Yui”, Yui retorted, trying to hide her sad feelings, because she did not want to look like a sister who blocked the dream from her sister.

And so one of Zen's plans finally came to pass, where he found a place that could keep his brother from being outraged by danger, because he can rest easy if his sister is protected by a strong man and has a reputation for protecting her.

Hearing everyone agree, Zen naturally did not want to waste his time and wanted to directly rush towards the Great Dungeon and would probably return two weeks later to heal Kileni.

“Are you sure you don't want me to travel to the Great Dungeon Zen?” ask Lucas then.

“No need Uncle. I think Uncle's whereabouts in this place is more important, because Uncle has to wait for the materials I need to heal Uncle's daughter and can keep Uncle's Princess and my sister in this place" Zen replied.

Zen and Lucas had already gone to Lucas' stables and prepared to take out his white horse and leave this place for the Great Dungeon, because Zen did not want to delay his trip anymore and chose to leave this place sooner.

“Wear My Horse, because your horse seems untrained to travel long distances quickly”, said Lucas who blocked Zen's action preparing to take out his white horse.

“Nothing – what Uncle, I'm used to using it” reply Zen.

“My horse can take you to the Great Dungeon without resting and even he can run for 12 hours non-stop and rest” Lucas replied.

Lucas' horse was a specially trained horse that was heavily trained for use with the purpose of warfare. So his horse is trained and has very high stamina, and can travel long distances without resting.

“There is such a thing in this world?” zen murmured in his heart.

Zen had no idea what training – horses in this world went through until it became like that. Because to his knowledge, horses in his native world despite having high stamina, they are still not like horses trained in this world who have the ability as Lucas told him.

“Wear, so that you can easily go back and forth from there to return here” reply Lucas who forced Zen to use his horse.

With the ability of Lucas's horse that can be said to be very great, of course Zen received advice from Lucas to use his horse that Zen will use towards the Great Dungeon, which he will use, because he could only travel eight hours to the Great Dungeon and he did not need to rest.

Lucas began to take out an ash-coloured horse – of his own and handed his strap to Zen. The Zen who received it slowly started stroking the horse given to him first so that they could get a little familiar before Zen rode him.

“Alright, let's go” Zen said.

Zen began herding Lucas' horse and now Lucas has herded Zen's white horse named Kesi, which he will use to deliver Zen to the entrance gate of the Capital to release his journey to the great dungeon.

“Remember, when you arrive at the Great Dungeon, look for the Full Moon inn where one of my group members is the owner of the inn and leave my horse to him. So that when you want to go back to the Capital my horse will be fully ready when you will ride it back” said Lucas.

“Alright Uncle” said Zen who received advice from Lucas.

After he reached the gate of Lucas's residence. Yui who was already covered in tears just looked at her brother sadly. Zen then asked Lucas to hold his horse rope for a moment and began to crouch and face Yui.

“So will leave okay, be a good beautiful girl and wait for Brother here” reply Zen while stroking the head of his sister.

“K-Silver also be careful – heart okay. And Yui p-shouldn't forgive Big Brother if anything happens to Big Brother. J-So come back safely and pick up Yui here o-oke” said Yui who had started crying because she was still not willing to see her brother's departure.

Zen only nodded at the request from his sister, then started to lightly kiss Yui on the forehead and Yui started to reply by kissing her cheek and they started to hug each other. After hugging for a moment Zen, who had finally let go of Yui's embrace, started riding his horse and began to leave the residence that his sister would live in and left with Lucas who would guide him to leave this area.

“Your sister will definitely pick you up. So stop your crying so that your brother does not heavy leave you here” said Lenneth who started rubbing the head of Yui, who was not very happy, which was where they were currently staring at Zen who started waving his hands at them.

“Yes... Aunt's right. Yui should be happy that Big Brother is not worried about Yui” replied Yui who started wiping her tears using her tiny hands and finally already saw the horse that Zen was riding on already taking her away.

Lenneth just smiled hearing that, and began to grasp the tiny hands of Yui and watch with Zen who had disappeared from their sight.

With the guidance of Lucas, who was carrying Zen's white horse, they quickly arrived at the entrance and exit of the Capital. Before Zen left, Lucas always gave some advice for him so that he could adventure safely.

“I will keep your brother safe, and I will train your horse to be like my horse later” Lucas said.

“Thanks Uncle. And also, if Uncle has got the ingredients to cure your daughter, just let me know via communication gem so that I go straight back here” Zen replied.

“Good. And remember, the Great Dungeon is very dangerous so be careful – heart when you enter it” Lucas said giving his last advice before Zen will leave.

Zen just nodded at Lucas' advice and began to drive his horse away from the area and away from the capital using Lucas' horse. Of course Lucas only saw the departure of Zen, until finally his existence had disappeared from his view.

“Hopefully you will be good – Zen” muttered Lucas who went straight back to his residence.

Zen drove quickly using the horse that Lucas lent him. With a speed that exceeded the horse he had, his journey continued unceasingly with the aim of a place to make him strong.

“Great Dungeon, I'm coming.”.
