Zen Change

Morning sunlight began to enter between – between the curtains that closed the window of a room, which was occupied by two people. The light did not disturb any of the people in the room, even the person was still sleeping comfortably on his bed.

“Kakk... Brother let's get up!” shouted one of the little girls who started jumping – jump on the mattress that was slept by the man.

“Come wake.... Didn't Big Brother promise to shave his mustache, beard and hair Kakar” shouted back.

The one-armed man who was sleeping, began to be disturbed by what his sister did. He then began to open his eyes and immediately grabbed the little girl and started to tickle her, to punish her for disturbing her sleep.

“Kakk.. Haha.... D-don't... Amusedly... Hhaahaha!” the little girl screamed.

The man just smiled at the behavior of his sister who he was criticizing and continued to do the activities to his sister, until his sister begged to stop what they did.

“You've had a shower?” zen asked, seeing Yui with her hair still wet.

“Ya... After I woke up, I immediately took a bath” said Yui, who was still lying on the bed from Zen, after she was stalked by her sister earlier.

“Smart girl, here let Brother dry your hair” said Zen who started holding Yui and sitting her in a chair.

Zen then used his wind element, and stirred up with the heat of his fire element and made a warm gust of wind, and began to direct his magic precisely in the wet hair of his sister.

“Hmmm..... very comfortable” said Yui who enjoyed the actions of her Brother while closing her eyes.

Zen remained silent and continued to dry his sister's golden hair completely dry, before he decided to take a bath and prepare to start his day in the village.

“Be quiet here for a while okay, Brother will clean up first, then we go down and have breakfast before looking for a barbershop” said Zen who replied nod by Yui.

Zen then began to clean his body and immediately took his sister to the restaurant's dining place, after he finished cleaning himself and changed his pajamas by wearing his clothes.

This inn was still quiet, but Zen could see four people were enjoying their breakfast, who were the adventurers who were with him yesterday. Zen did not expect that they would stay in the same inn as him.

Seeing Zen's arrival, they only greeted him lightly before Zen and Yui sat down at a table and faced each other and began to order the breakfast they wanted.

“I'm sorry sir, but today's breakfast is just bread, eggs and some grilled meat” said the innkeeper's aunt, who had brought two dishes filled with food.

“It's okay – what aunty” said Zen received both his food plates and put them on the table in front of Yui and in front of him.

“Then you want to drink what sir?” ask the innkeeper.

“I want a cup of tea, and Yui what do you want to drink?” zen asked his sister.

Indeed, after Zen enjoyed the tea he drank with his grandfather first, he immediately liked it and made tea his favorite drink at this time. Even yesterday when he was traveling around with Yui, he took the time to look for a tavern that served tea.

“Susu!” yui shouted excitedly.

“One tea and one aunty” milk Zen said with a smile.

“I'm sorry sir, but due to the current state of the village and making milk very rare, you have to pay 1 piece of bronze to be able to order it” said the innkeeper.

“Ah... of course it's okay - what” said Zen who started taking out a bronze coin and gave it to the innkeeper's aunt.

Zen starts to enjoy his breakfast with Yui. As usual Yui was so good at eating her food, that Zen gave her a little food, which is why she was so happy to see the sight of her sister eating her food so voraciously.

After Yui finished all her food, she immediately grabbed the glass of milk that this innkeeper's aunt had brought, and drank it one sip to the end. Seeing that, Zen only took out his handkerchief and cleaned the food and milk marks on his mouth.

Zen had already asked the owner of this inn about the barbershop. Fortunately, in this world such a place exists. Zen slowly began to take Yui away from the place, and moved from there towards their destination.

Zen had passed by several adventurers, who had already finished their breakfast first and were asking something to the owner of this inn. Zen was very knowledgeable about what they were discussing, but the current Zen did not want to directly interfere.

“This is the place?” murmured Zen, who saw a building that had a scissor and comb emblem on its entrance.

“It looks like this is the place Kak” replied Yui.

They finally started to enter the place, and saw a middle-aged lung man welcoming them. Zen was then welcome to sit down and the old man who owned this place began to do his duty.

Yui who was sitting on a special bench reserved for people dropping off customers, just started shaking – shake her legs, and waited for the result of her Brother who was being trimmed her hair.

Zen's white hair slowly began to fall down, after the middle-aged lung man who had slashed his hair started to cut and form his haircut. And it did not feel like an hour had passed after they entered this place.

The hairdresser who handles Zen hair, is currently making sure that there is no hair left on the bottom of the nose and chin after finishing tidying up Zen white hair.

A handsome man could be seen from behind the mirror that Zen was currently looking at, which reflected his appearance. By this time his hair was short and the entire mustache and beard that covered his face first, had already disappeared completely.

With his blue eyes, Zen started to look at her and started to smile after the man who did all this for her started to finish his task.

“Wah..... Big Brother is very handsome” said Yui, who first saw his sister's face without being deterred by any feathers.

“Of course Big Brother is very handsome” said Zen who boasted of him.

Elsewhere, the incident experienced by this village happened again. A girl was declared missing last night, after asking her parents for permission to go to a place, to meet someone, she said.

Currently, the four adventurers who were previously asking the owner of the inn where Zen was staying, about the disappearance of two employees went straight to the house of the missing girl.

“Hiks... He only asked permission for a moment... hiks...” said the mother of the missing girl while crying recounting the chronology of her son's disappearance.

“Then, do you know what needs make it go after saying goodbye to your mistress?” tanya Sif who is one of the adventurer party members assigned to investigate this case.

“D-He said he wanted to meet someone for a while.. t-but he didn't come home” he replied.

“Does the mistress know where she went?” ask Bennard later.

“She said she wanted to go to Pina Jingga” said the mother of the victim.

This statement made the adventurers begin to sigh, because the inn was the inn where they stayed, including the place where Zen and Yui lived while in this village.

“Did you guys see something weird last night?” ask Bennard to his party members.
