The Snow In Paris

The Snow In Paris
CHAPTER - 23

After almost a week in the care, doctors finally allowed Snow to go home. After cleaning up his administration and his wife's belongings while in the hospital, Aaric escorted Snow home. But unfortunately Aaric can only take his wife only to reach the terrace because he already has an appointment with a client this morning.

"You go in with my aunt, I'm late for a meeting" he said, unlocking the car door, then he kissed Snow on the forehead before his wife got out of the car.

Without saying a word to Aaric, Snow kissed Snow's hand, then got out of the car. For a moment Snow looked at the magnificent house owned by her husband's family, a house that may be for some people is a dream home but for Snow is like a hell of the world.

It felt hard to step into the house, but he had no other choice, the housekeeper carrying his belongings had asked him to enter. "Let's go in, said doctor mba Snow still have to rest."

Stepping into the living room of her husband's residence, Snow was greeted coldly by her mother-in-law who was likely already waiting for her arrival. Astrid sat on the sofa with her hands folded on her chest as well as her cynical eyes fixed on her daughter-in-law.

"How to care for a husband, take care of yourself is not wise," said Astrid, without saying stale he immediately rebuked his daughter-in-law who had just returned from the hospital. "Have the female organ in the right care, what else after the curettage. It's so dirty you can get infections and bleeding, even though you're out of the hospital all day long just lazing."

Snow looked towards her mother-in-law. "Sorry mom, I'm bleeding not because I'm dirty or not taking care of him, but.." Snow's not done defending himself, Astrid cut him off right away. "Halaah, just the reason you're. That must be your karma that used to be dyed here and there. It's a pity my proud son got junk like you."

Snow frowned hearing her mother-in-law so humbling herself. "I could have sworn I never slept with any man, who like mommy always accuses me. Yesterday's bleeding happened because Aaric forced me to have sex even though I had refused him," Snow could not help his anger, he was tired of always being considered cheap by Aaric's family, especially his mother.

"Take your dirty mouth!!" Snap Astrid. "How dare you twist the facts and accuse my son of doing so," he walked over to Snow. "I got that information straight from my son and from your medical records."

Snow was increasingly surprised, he did not expect if her husband dared to manipulate medical records and provide information that did not match the facts to his mother-in-law. "No, it's not like that." Snow shook his head.

Astrid walked around Snow. "From the beginning, I never approved of your relationship with my son, but Aaric is still determined to marry you. And now evidently, you are a woman who is not only lazy, and cheap, but also slanderous. Not only that, you're a sheepfighter. You complained a no-no to Aaric, so Aaric dared to set up his own mother." Astrid stared intently and hatefully at her son-in-law. "Gardening, cooking, cleaning the house, those are the basic skills a woman should have. Especially in this house you just hitchhiked, so you should donate a little of your energy in this house. It's not that you're complaining to me and my son just because you're lazy to do what I tell you to do!!"

Snow breathed his heavy breath. "Then have my beloved son and mommy's pride divorce me, so that mommy can have it for life, excuse me for taking a break."he stepped her feet leaving her mother-in-law still babbling in the living room.

"How dare you challenge me, YOU SON-IN-LAW DON'T KNOW AT PROFIT!!" shout Astrid.

"He thinks I'm out of the rock? I was born and raised by a mother, even my mother raised me alone, but my mother was never crazy respect, never asked anything from me again from Aaric. He just wanted me to be happy with my little family, despite the fact that I'm not happy at all" Snow grumbled as he climbed the stairs to his room, thinking it should be a marriage, as a child must be equally fair in terms of time, material and attention to parents and in-laws.

But what happened after marriage, Aaric almost never cared about his mother, different when before marriage, almost once a week Aaric visited Bandung to win the heart of his mother to give his blessing.

Snow's steps stopped right in front of his room, the trauma of Aaric's violent actions still vividly recorded in his mind. He closed the door again, and decided to rest in the guest room. "Bik please take my laptop in the room yes, I want to rest in the guest room only," Snow pinta, he rushed to the guest room which is still on the second floor of the Aaric residence.

Although the room is not as big as the room, but it still feels much more comfortable when compared to the room that is full of bad memories. Snow retrieves the laptop given to him by his domestic assistant, then asks him to leave himself alone.

For a few days not holding a cell phone, because Aaric seized it, making Snow so worried about Sky. What about the progress of the business? Since he is the only person Sky relies on to discuss his business, what about editing photos or videos for business promotion materials? Sky has not been able to hire people to do that, so Snow himself is the one who does it.

Snow's face was a little disappointed, when he said that Aaric had changed the wifi password in his residence so that Snow could not access the internet at all. In the past, he intended to send a message to Sky via the internet. "The bad guy is really outrageous" he murmured.

There was nothing Snow could do to contact Sky, so he closed his laptop. Snow walked to the balcony, looking at the front garden of Aaric's residence from the balcony while thinking about how he could get out of Aaric's snare and out of this house. "Do I have to jump out of here so that I can be free of him." A full day Snow sat on the balcony while constantly daydreaming, her gaze blankly watching the people passing by her residence. "If I were like those who could freely go anywhere...."
