Pink shades dominate Alura's room, clearly felt feminine. A few hours ago, their wedding was over and Max was stranded in his wife's room.
There are no roses or other decorations. Ordinary, far from the impression of the bridal room.
Max doesn't really care about that. There were many things that disturbed his mind. Especially now that he is a husband. Next he had to learn about his new religion. Even before they were married, his wife had already chosen someone she called 'Ustadz' to guide him. Max was so lazy to ask more. To be honest if it wasn't for Mery, he wouldn't have gone this far.
But again, Mery is Max's weakness. The woman who was so meritorious in her life, that's how Max remembers Mery.
Clem ...
Max turned his head around to confirm who had opened the door, after he saw the figure of the woman he had just married a few hours ago entering still wearing bridal clothes and looking exhausted, Max turned his face again. There is no intention to just say hello.
"Sorry, I just got in. The brothers said goodbye to go home" Alura said walking up to Max.
"Hm."
It was the only thing that came out of the mouth of the man who was legally and religiously as her husband.
"Max, did you have lunch? And medicine?"
"Here you go" Max answered briefly.
"Oh, thank God." Alura's breath was heard. Relieved, knowing that the husband had eaten. Alura understood with the attitude of cute and cold Max, naturally maybe all is still surprising to both of them and of course they need time to get to know each other further. For Alura it doesn't matter, instead she is grateful to get to know Max when they are already tied up.
"All right, I'm gonna clean myself up first, yeah." Alura leaves Max and walks to the bathroom.
Max bergeming. Still at home in its original place until Alura finished bathing. Seeing his wife coming out of the bathroom in long pajamas and hair down until it reached his back made Max's blood rustle. To cover up his feelings Max immediately threw away his face.
The other is with Alura. She hesitated to open her veil in front of Max. But given their status, Alura did not hesitate anymore.
After drying his hair and combing it, Alura again approached Max.
"Max, it's magrib, let's pray." Alura's soft voice ripped out Max's daydream.
"I haven't been too busy reading and praying, yet" Max answered honestly.
Alura turned to squat in front of Max and smiled gently.
"Max, we're the same. I'm also a convert. At first, I didn't know either. But over time and continued to learn I became familiar with and understood this religion. I'm still learning, Max."
Alura grabbed Max's hand. She had seen the lightening of her husband's eyes that were difficult to decipher. Is Max angry he touched her? But seeing Max's reaction that did not retaliate and just let it make Alura not release her hand grip on Max's fingers that felt warm.
"Max, we're learning together, yeah. Either way, now we have officially become husband and wife. So, we must work to get this marriage to lead us to the pleasure of God," said Alura squeezing Max's fingers slowly.
"Why are you willing to marry me?!" Max's question intimidated Alura with his attitude. Alura tried not to be intimidated.
"Eem, it's because ..."
"Heritage!" quick cut. The aura that heard him rounded his eyes. Why is Max judging it so low.
"You're wrong, Max. If it's a treasure issue, I don't really care. Because happiness does not lie in the abundance of matter," said Alura taking a deep breath, their hands were already released.
"If it wasn't for that, then what? oh let me guess, for pity on my condition, so!" Max's voice rose an octave.
Now, Alura's eyes were already glazed over. Alura stood a little away from Max. Can't Max see love in his eyes? Love for her husband and her lover. Alura did not even bother about her husband's condition. What happened to Max was that God's qadha was beyond reproach.
"Honest answer!" Max's heavy voice filled every corner of Alura's room.
As Alura turned around, Max was surprised to find that his wife was wiping away her tears. There was a sense of regret because Max yelled at the beautiful woman. From the very beginning she knew Alura, she was a gentle female figure and of course was awake. Alura was also very polite to him as well as Mery.
"Sorry, Max, let's pray!" after that Alura immediately pushed Max's wheelchair into the bathroom for ablution. Ignoring Max's question.
After the prayer, there was no more conversation between the two of them. Now we're at dinner. Max is not willing to eat, arguing he is tired and wants to rest immediately.
Finally Alura only had three dinners with Mama and Papa.
Ready for dinner, they gather in the living room.
"Alura, are you happy, honey?" The woman with motherly nature was embracing her affectionately.
"Goddessa. Please pray, yes, Ma, Pa. May Alura and Max be able to bring this marriage to a noble cause."
"Aamiin, pray a lot and be patient, dear," said his mother.
" yes, Ma," replied Alura.
Feeling long enough to leave Max alone, Alura immediately climbed the stairs to her room on the second floor.
Slowly, Alura pushed open the door of her room, worried about waking Max up. But Alura was wrong. Max was still faithfully sitting in his wheelchair with a book in his hand.
Max lowered the book in his hand put it on the nightstand. He looked agitated several times looking towards the bed and then looked towards his feet. The aura that saw it began to understand.
God, why did she forget her husband's condition. Max definitely couldn't move up to bed. Alura is standing in front of Max.
"Come, I'll help you," Alura bargained.
"Hmm." That's all that came out of Max's mouth.
Looking at the size of the body the tiny Alura offered help to lift her which was clearly much larger. Max was not sure Alura was strong.
"Why don't you trust me?" The pouting aura made Max pull the tip of his lips into a smile. Only glimpses.
"Well, if you force it," said Max, feeling like there was no other choice.
"Bismillah."
Alura slipped her hands on both of Max's armpits. With the help of Max's hand she was finally able to move her husband's large body onto the mattress.
Max who saw Alura not moving so worried, did he faint?
"Hey, why are you quiet?"
"Wait, Max. I'm setting my breath." After feeling his strength regrouped, Alura went down to pick up Max's blanket.
Finished arranging the pillows and enveloping Max, Alura went to lie down.
"Max, are you asleep?"
"Not yet."
"Max, whatever your assumptions and accusations about what I'm doing for this marriage, it's not true, Max," Alura said, turning to Max, "You know, Allah is All-reversing, may our hearts always be in the way of truth and. Because marriage is not just about staying one roof Max. More than that, marriage is worship. God willing, if we remember the original purpose of our marriage, then the storm and the exam that stopped we can go through."
Max just put on a flat face hearing Alura's long sentence. I don't know what that guy was thinking.
"Here you go, let's go to sleep! Do not forget to read the prayer first." then Alura put her hands together, before long she rubbed into his face. After that try to close the eyes bring into the dream.
Alura woke up when she felt a movement next to her. He glanced at the clock on the wall showing it at 2 am. Alura turned her body to face Max. She seemed to be moving agitatedly with her eyes closed.
Instantly Alura was struck with anxiety. Is Max sick? She immediately touched her husband's forehead. No. gabe. Her body temperature is normal.
Kriuuk
Alura narrowed her eyes, ah, didn't Max miss his dinner?
Alura touched Max's arm.
"Max, are you hungry?" ask Alura.
Max's closed eyes slowly opened. Next Alura helps Max to lean on the headboard. Max did not answer. But again his stomach can't lie. Without being asked Alura immediately tidied up her clothes, grabbed the veil and walked out.
It was not until ten minutes that he returned with a plate of food and a glass of water.
"Eat, Max."
Max receives a plate from Alura's hand and begins to eat the contents. Seeing her husband finished, Alura offered a glass of water which immediately filled the toilet. After making sure Max finished eating, Alura again brought the empty plate and glass out of the room.
By the time he returned to the room Max was already in a lying position.
"Thank you" Max said slowly.
Alura went up to the bed to sit near Max. There was no answer until her sobs caught Max's ear.
"You crying?" Max felt he had done nothing, but why was his wife crying.
"I'm sorry, if I hurt you," said Max, feeling awry.
"Max, you have heart." Alura's voice raced with her stuffing.
"Group?"
"Yes. Why don't you wake me up, I'm your wife, Max. If you need anything do not hesitate to ask for my help," said Alura. after saying that Alura lay in a curled position like a fetus. Her heart ached to see Max starving last night. It must be hard to remember her husband's condition. Even just that it shifted she needed help. Alura's chest is back. At least Max woke him up, instead of holding back his hunger.
"Sorry," that's the only word that came out of Max's mouth.
Alura. Then he went to the bathroom. As usual, he wanted to complain to his Lord.
