The Shackles of the Past
Selena and Josh: The complicated life

Happy Reading

The sun shone brightly without cloud obstruction, dotting the blue sky this afternoon. The heat that is delivered is very stinging until the skin feels burning even though it only comes out the first five seconds.

The woman in hospital clothes was sitting pensively in front of the window of her nursery. Throwing his gaze far ahead, towards the extremely busy highway, as well as the people passing by. His hearing caught a boisterous sound outside the hospital, either the sound of sirens or the sound of medics.

Both of his hands hugged his flat stomach back, hugging gently. A face that had no expression but both of his eyes radiated a deep sadness, until the sound of the door was heard opening.

Selena already knew who was walking closer, she was reluctant to turn her head or just ask. A box of juice is placed on the window.

From the corner of his eyes, a tall, well-dressed man stood firmly on his right, left hand in his pants pocket while the other hand drank coffee that still looked hot.

"Dear." Call Josh who's still looking ahead like Selena did.

There was no answer coming out of the lips of the beautiful woman, silent a thousand languages that she had been doing since waking up and it seemed like it would continue like that.

Josh pulled something out of his pants pocket, a photo sheet he got from his mercenary bodyguard, put it in front of Selena who was still reluctant to look at him, until Selena's eyeball moves fixed on the photo sheet.

Both of the women's eyes were already foggy due to the tears that gathered in her eyes, because too many tears came out so that they could not hold it. Clear crystals poured down his cheeks, his eyes locked on the person in the photo.

Josh was still faithfully waiting for Selena to say something, he was very frustrated because Selena just kept quiet more precisely silenced herself, "Darling talk, I'd rather you curse me than silence me like this." Josh finally expressed his heart to Selena.

"Josh."

Hearing the snag's voice make Josh sparkle happy, Josh turned to Selena so that his second look whistled. Seeing the two eyes of the woman he loved was already wet because the tears made Josh moved to wipe her.

Josh's hand stalled in the air as Selena continued, "Let's get divorced, let go of me Josh. We will never be happy if this marriage continues, we will only hurt each other." He said with tears coming back.

Josh pulled back the hand that wanted to wipe Selena's tears, clenching both of his hands to suppress the rage that was ready to explode.

"Until I die, we'll never divorce Selena." Josh was firm and stressed.

"If so let me die, Josh." Selena answered that made Josh grip both shoulders strongly Selena.

His sharp and intimidating look was directed at the woman who made him fall in love and suffer at the same time.

"I won't let you die, Selena. Catch that!" Exclaimed Josh who took off his grip violently.

Hitting the feeling of tightness that spread in the day, his throat choked as if his crying voice could not come out "Sick! how painful! Dad ... hiks, get Lena." The mess is still broken.

Lena was Selena's calling since childhood especially her family. No one knows, because when it comes out they will call out in full Selena.

Selena cried with a faltering, staring back at the photo weakness given by Josh. His left hand was full of hatred and wounds.

Josh sat alone in the garden chair with both hands propping up to him, his fingers squeezing the black hair tightly. He is very angry with himself who always gets out of control in front of Selena, even Josh is very aware of how the suffering of the woman who is his wife.

"You know when we're like this, Cells." Said it sad.

Josh looked up at the clear sky with no clouds there, only light blue and the sun as his friend.

"Isn't the sun like you, baby. Shining brightly but not touched, from afar it was already felt how hot let alone trying to get close. Perhaps, this body will be destroyed before it reaches her." Josh said to himself.

Josh's phone rang making the handsome man rub the end of his eyes that began to get wet, visible the name of his mercenary bodyguard.

"How's it?" Ask Josh to the point.

"He has no children, sir. She only lives with a drunk husband and loves to gamble. Right now they're having a big fight, do I need to help her?" Report the guard.

"Don't show up, keep an eye out and gather all the evidence to get the man down if needed. We'll move if my wife wants it." Josh answered firmly.

"Good sir."

Josh immediately turned off his phone connection, breathing as much air as possible to cool the heart that had been hot. Turn his head towards the wife's room.

The window is still open and a little curtain that sometimes comes out from the inside. "We're done as soon as we can, baby, and I promise to be a good husband to you." Josh said sincerely.
