Fiance Plan

"Papa doesn't want to. It's too soon to visit their home. Not even that woman is divorced from her husband." The rejection was emphatically thrown from the mouth of his father Farel.

It had been half an hour Farel sat with his parents in the big house of his parents. Farel deliberately came there to convey Pram's message asking Farel's parents to visit his home. And after Farel spoke, he was immediately rejected by the father.

"It's just a regular meeting, Pa. Her grandfather Cia just wanted to cross paths with Papa and Mama. As well as talking about ... my engagement to Cia."

"It's impossible. Are you crazy?! How could you possibly plan to get engaged to Cia? She's still somebody's wife, Farel." Sadam is getting inflamed. Time and again she reminded the status of the woman loved by her son, but unfortunately Farel was too blinded by love. He doesn't care about all that.

"But Cia's already pregnant with my son, Pa. Inevitably, Papa must accept him as Papa's son-in-law."

"You!"

"Ma ...."

Sadam almost slapped a slap on Farel's smooth cheek. If only my wife hadn't stopped him. Arisa quickly held her husband's shoulder while shaking her head. He didn't want any of his family to get hurt.

Sadam took a deep breath and took it out slowly. Attempting to accommodate the rapidly depleted oxygen supply from his lungs while facing Farel.

"Alright, we're going to see Cia's grandfather."

A smile was immediately imprinted on Farel's lips. His head that had lowered suddenly looked up. Staring at the papa with sparkling eyes. "Thank you, Pa," he said happily.

"Hm." Sadam just muttered. He turned his eyes the other way. Feeling annoyed to see the cheerful radiance displayed on his son's face. If only the happiness was not intended for the wife of others, maybe Sadam would come to be happy and accept it with chesty air.

As planned, tonight the Farel family will visit Pram's house. Farel had told Pram by phone call, if his parents had agreed and would come later tonight.

Of course Pram does not want to make his candidate feel uncomfortable. He had prepared everything safely, not forgetting the sumptuous dishes for dinner.

"Why aren't you ready, son? Farel's family will be coming soon." Cia who was sitting pensively at the side of the bed slightly jerked. Looking at his grandfather who had not been in the room since when. She was too busy with her own thoughts. Thinking about the fate of his marriage to Delfin which will end soon.

"Sorry, Cake. Cia will be ready now." Cia smiled thinly. Even in her heart she was crying.

"Beautiful dress, yes, dear. You'll meet the future in-laws." Pram smiled uttering that sentence.

Cia replied to him with a strange smile. It's smirking! While she was the daughter-in-law of Delfin's parents, Cia had to dress up as beautifully as possible to meet her new calom-in-law. Cia feels so despicable.

The sound of the roar of the car that stopped in the courtyard of Pram's house made Bi Lea quickly open the door. Pram was already preparing to welcome his guest in the living room.

"Hello, Mr. Sadam. Welcome to." Pram reached out his hand to shake the guest's hand, "how are you, Mr and Madam?" tanyanya.

"As you can see, Mr. Pram. We are in good health. It's just that our heart health was disrupted because of—"

"Pa, you promised me you wouldn't make trouble." Arisa again commemorates her husband in a slow, but stressed tone. Her hand squeezed her husband's wrist a little tight.

Sadam looked at his wife's face for a moment, then clucked bitterly because his wife had dared to cut his words.

"What's the matter, sir? Have you been checked by a doctor?" Pram looks curious about the continuation of Sadam's words.

Sadam's view turned again on Pram. "Oh, it's nothing. Just because of work," he replied with a discordant laugh. Pretending to look good is really annoying. Farel did the same, always showing the best smile he had. Although he knew the father was always trying to thwart his plans, he had a mother who was still on his side.

"Oh, yes, please sit down. You must be tired of standing up." Pram let his guests sit.

"No, look at your son's behavior, Ma. So infatuated she's the same wife. His eyes looked like they were going to see the woman. What's special about him? There are still many single women who are prettier than her." Sadam whispered in his wife's ear. His gaze did not seem to like seeing Cia's arrival.

"Diem, Dad. Let's talk at home." Arisa replies to her husband's words, don't slow down. Only the two of them engaged in conversation without anyone else hearing.

"Hi, Honey. Come on, greet your future in-laws."

"Hello, Om, Aunt." Cia greeted Farel's parents with a fluffy smile. Both of Farel's parents replied to him with just a smile. She sat down next to her grandfather.

"It seems too early to say we are the future in-laws of your grandson, Mr. Pram. I heard Cia's not divorced from her husband." Sadam could no longer hold back the sentence that had been stuck at the base of his tongue ever since. It made everyone become silent, and the atmosphere turned tense.

"Pa—" The rebuttal sentence from Farel was held back by Sadam's hand movement that was lifted into the air. As if giving a code to keep his son quiet. Sadam wanted to hear Pram explain everything.

"You're right, Mr. Sadam. My daughter is not divorced from her husband. But it will happen soon, because after all the child Cia conceived was Farel's son."

"Surely you said if it was Farel's son. Wouldn't it be possible if it was the son of her husband Cia?" Sadam is still trying to argue.

Cia could only bow her head. However, Farel's father said it was true.

"Your son has confessed to my son, Mr. Sadam. What you will teach your child is not responsible for his actions. They had confessed to doing so when her husband Cia was out of town, and since then Cia has not been in contact with her husband again."

Sadam frowned, then looked at Cia with a cynical look. "So Cia was playing incongruously when her husband was working out of town? Wife like ap—"

"Papa's enough! We're here to discuss my engagement to Cia, and the wedding after Cia gave birth. Why is Papa talking about anything else?" Farel who did not like the behavior of the father finally growled.

"Sorry, Mr. Sadam. Actually I was offended by what you said just now. But it seems like I have to straighten out any misunderstandings that bother your mind towards my granddaughter. She was a good wife, only her husband had betrayed her. Then Farel came to give his shoulder to be Cia's back. Who would have thought this would happen? In fact, our two children are in love with each other. Maybe this is called a soul mate."

Sadam speechless. Trying to digest long words from Pram. There was nothing more he could argue. He finally gave up.

The dinner was over after a tense drama. Both of Farel's parents finally agreed to Farel and Cia's engagement, which will be done after Cia officially divorced her husband. This is their child's choice. They just want their kids to be happy.

"What are you doing? It's night instead of sleep." Pram reprimanded his granddaughter who was even pensive with a sad look at the edge of the fish pond. His hands endlessly sprinkled fish feed with a dreamy mind. After the departure of the Farel family, Cia could not rest in peace.

"Grandfather?" Cia choked, then smiled looking at her grandfather.

Pram sat by the pool next to his grandson. "You why? Your face looks sad? You should be happy, because Farel's parents have given you their blessing" he asked as he rubbed Cia's head gently.

"I'm thinking of the words of Om Sadam, Cake. He was right, I was a bad wife. Who cheated when my husband was not home" replied Cia softly. His face still looks sad.

"He's cheating, too, Cia. You're just retaliating."

"And how is it different from Delfin, Cake? I shouldn't have said the same. I felt like I had no pride in front of Farel's parents. Maybe they were worried, if his son would suffer the same fate as Delfin."

Pram like slapped with the words of his grandson. "Farel's a good guy, Cia. He won't do anything stupid like Delfin, and you won't have to pay Farel anything stupid."

"But, Kek—"

"Already! Grandpa doesn't want to hear you talk about Delfin anymore. It's enough of the heartache he's given you. Forget about him, and think about your future with Farel!" Pram stepped up and left Cia, but for a moment his steps stopped and said again, "sleep, son! Think of the baby in your womb! You need to rest a lot to keep you healthy."

"Yes." Yeah." Cia nodded then stood up, and followed her grandfather who had left the garden behind where he was now. He sighed and rubbed his stomach as he walked, "you're in good health, yes, honey. Mama promised to give the best for you," he said with sincerity.
