“Create that? Means he's the son of the boss you work for, Raka?”
Raka nodded once more, which made Amanda smile and approached Raya. The middle-aged woman introduced herself as the mother of Raka Abhimanyu.
The still bewildered Kingdom could only nod in speechless. In his mind was still filled with question marks about Raka's actions.
“Tadi Raka talks to Raya, Mom. Not with Ray,” said Raka.
“So yes?” Amanda bowed and sighed.
“What makes Ray not want to go home, Raka?” ask Amanda with a lethargic face.
Seeing her mother sad, Raka could only embrace and rub Amanda's shoulders to give a little peace.
“Mommy, Ray will never go home,” Raka said as she shook her head slowly.
It was a sentence that Raka had said to Amanda dozens of times. However, Raka's tongue always felt faint every time she said it.
Amanda is getting bowed in, so is Raka who is getting closer to the deck.
The sight of the mother and child, captured by the frowning Kingdom.
Ray's? Who's Ray? His name is almost similar to my pseudonym. Inner Kingdom.
After Amanda calmed down again, the three of them had breakfast together. No chatter at the dinner table. There was only the sound of the twang of the spoon clashing against the plate.
Raya occasionally glances at Raka and Amanda. He wanted to ask about his curiosity in Ray's figure. But he paused after finding Amanda eating while daydreaming since.
The first person to eat breakfast was Amanda. He stood up, and smiled.
“Mommy wants to continue Mommy's painting. Ray must be happy once he gets home, Mommy made a special painting for him,” Amanda muttered.
Then, walk out of the dining room.
“Ray, who is it?” ask Raya after making sure Amanda's gone.
“She's my sister,” answered Raka who then stood up and put the dirty dishes into the kitchen sink.
He walked over to Raka.
“Raka, why did you say that I was the daughter of Mr Balin?”
Raka looked at Raya. Staring deeply at the black colored Kingdom eyeballs.
“Agar Mommy blesses our relationship.”
Kingdom rolled her eyeballs while furrowing her eyebrows.
“What relationship do you mean? We are just friends.”
Raka shook her head with eyes that could not be separated from looking at Raya's face.
“Our relationship is more than that. Ever since we kissed, it means you've been mine.”
Kingdom crisp chuckles, “Mana can be so. You haven't even asked me.”
“Is it necessary? Without asking, I already know that you love me too,” said Raka who now folds her hands in front of her chest.
Making Raya laugh mocked at the attitude of Raka who confidently claimed ownership over him.
“Don't be hypocritical, Raya. You also returned my kiss earlier, right?” ask Raka.
A moment of Raya gawking. She only realized that she enjoyed a warm kiss from Raka this morning. However, Raya only swallowed saliva and dodged it.
Hearing the rebuttal from Raya, makes Raka come back to kiss the girl. Both of Raka's hands were coiled around Raya's back so that the girl could not escape.
The rejection Raya did slowly changed. He was immediately swept away in that kiss. With a shamed face returned Raka's kiss without her noticing.
And don't forget the fast-paced heartbeat. They taste in eyes closed to each other.
What is this feeling? I shouldn't have fallen in love with Raka. I don't know if Raka is Papa's enemy yet. Inner Kingdom.
You cannot avoid it, Raya. I love you, and so do you. You mine. Only mine. Rabbet
“You saw, right? You also returned a kiss from me,” he said triumphantly.
Raka hugged Raya's body tightly and whispered in front of her ears, “I'm in love with you.”
Raya sighed, dropping her head on the chest of the male field which managed to make her heart beat fast.
He still wants the logic that dominates him, not controlled by the feelings that he first felt like now.
Maybe if I accept Raka, then I can find out the secret between her and Papa. May he not be the enemy I have been looking for, for I am now... Speak the Kingdom in the heart.
“I love you too, Raka,” the phrase just came out of Raya's mouth.
Makes Raka smile and breathe happily because her love is avenged.
They took off hugs and looked at each other.
Raka rubbed the straight hair of Raya which was only shoulder length, tidying up behind the earlobe.
“Me and Clara have been betrothed since we were teenagers. So, you have to pretend to be the daughter of Mr. Balin so that in Mommy's eyes, you have more value than Clara, and then Mommy wants to cancel the match. Understand right?”
Raya lowered her head to hide her face that wanted to laugh.
What the fuck? I was told to be myself. So confusing. Raya.
However, Raya's submission was misunderstood by Raka. The man raised the chin of the girl who had just become his lover.
“Sorry, I don't mean to demean your profession, but Mommy always insisted that I have a life companion who she thinks is from a distinguished family.”
“I don't feel humbled at all.”
Raka loved and respected Amanda. However, the mother has different principles in determining a mate for her son.
Amanda has paired Raka with Clara. Raka can refuse the matchmaking, as long as Raka must marry a woman from class.
Semantara for Raka, whoever the woman he will marry, it is purely the choice of his heart. Not looking at the background of the woman.
Raka smiled, once again she let out a brief kiss on Raya's forehead.
“But what if Mommy knows you're lying, Raka?”
“That's business later. I know Mommy's attitude. As long as you can take Mommy's heart, we can explain it carefully.”
***
Raka sees from a distance two different generations of women in a small garden behind the house, where Amanda used to paint.
Raka was so proud of her lover that she was able to get along with her mother.
Not only familiar, but Raya was able to make Amanda smile as usual, the moment before Ray died.
Slowly Raka walked up to Raya who was painting Amanda's face. Unexpectedly, Raya turned out to have the same hobby as her mother.
“Tante, smile!” the word Kingdom warns Amanda who is sitting pecking on the chair.
Instantly Amanda immediately pulled the tip of her lips upwards.
“Hold a minute, Aunt. The painting is almost so.”
“Really? That's fast. Aunty did not expect the heir of Irawan Group to have a talent for painting,” Amanda murmured even more widening smiles.
Raka looked at the results of Raya's paintings that were really similar to the original object.
After finishing, Raya showed her painting to Amanda who immediately threw a gaze at Raka.
“Very good. Isn't that right, Raka?”
Raka seemed to not believe in her vision, at this time her mother was smiling towards Raka.
It was not a smile that used to appear when Amanda daydreamed about Ray, but it was a genuine smile for her eldest son.
