The Second Rani

The Second Rani
Fried Noodles

"Woi, for donk, the snack. Don't eat it yourself!" I heard Lisa's slightly flattened voice filling the entire back garden. Friends joked with laughter, fighting over each other for small meals served Simbok.

There is called a comfortable carpet pad on the grass. Me and Ringo didn't join them. We sat on the edge of the fish pond, which gurgled water from a small shower into a pretty beautiful background sound for us.

We still smile at each other. The ringga's kiss was still evident in my memory. Just a moment ago it happened, and it was finished without the meaningful words of the Ringga followed. I look forward to her words, that she likes me, that she loves me, that she doesn't want to lose me. But it didn't happen.

Was he so ashamed that he was speechless. Oh Ringga, I'll look forward to all that from you. I'll wait that long.

I glanced at Lingga, his eyes forming a crescent moon despite being visible from the side. Sometimes he looked at me, brushing my hair. Sometimes rubbing my head, getting rid of the hair that covers my cheeks by tucking my hair behind my ears. The sweet things he did without a sound.

"Why the hell?" many wonder.

"It's so pretty to know!"

I puckered my lips my lips towards him. He replied with a spoiled pinch on my cheek. We both laughed.

Accidentally visible to the corner of my eye. The Star Brother who was staring at us. He sat alone, in a chair facing the carpet that the friends were sitting on.

I felt strange because he was looking at me. Suddenly the words of Kak Bintang earlier, that he would still like me no matter what. It felt like a little bit of a burden on my heart. Why did he have to say that to Lingga. No wonder the Ringga looks so angry. Although sometimes strange thoughts appear in my mind. Who am I to Ringga, so that only he can like me?

I brush off those thoughts. I don't want that shadow to make my happiness disappear today. Moreover, see the Ringga. The guy I saw for the first time made me fall in love. Being this close to her, I am so grateful. A warm kiss from him that landed on my forehead a moment ago, it still lingers until now. Sweet taste, little rustling in the heart. Strange things I just felt this time.

"Non, please eat first .." Simbok's voice startled me. He brought a plate of fried noodles with vegetables and chicken milk, not to forget there are shrimp crackers on the edge of the plate. Anyone who sees will be tempted by this dish. Moreover, the white smoke from the fried noodles was still visible billowing on it. Making the eye see will certainly not be able to refuse it.

But it's for normal people. Not for me who has a weird phobia. I hate noodles. Everything made of noodles I don't like. Just looking at it, it was imagined how the long shape like a worm that stretched. Not to mention, there was oil among the noodles that made it look wet and slippery like an eel. Hueeeek!

I endured the disgust and nausea. I don't want to upset Simbok and Ringga for a dish made especially for me.

"Take Rania, she said she was hungry. Do I want a bribe?" said Ringga.

"Hehehe, I'm still full of lingga."

"So she said hungry?"

"So yes, but now it's full to wear!" I answered while holding my stomach.

"Can't that be it?"

"That's because you're worried about you, so you don't want anything else, hehehe .." elakku.

"Now the rubber is getting pinter... Learn from who?" ringga said, pinching my nose. I don't know why my nose has always been her months of anxiety.

Huft, about the fried noodles finished already. I managed to put it on the table without upsetting or suspecting Lingga.

I saw friends sitting on the carpet. Almost all the cake jars are empty. I wonder how they spend it all. The syrup in the bottle ran out, as if there was a hole underneath that made the liquid disappear. Leave empty glasses scattered. Looks like friends are getting ready to go home. They started wearing their bags.

"Bro, thank you. End it! Sayin Simbok do not come to us. If there is food that needs to be consumed, call us." exclaimed Bayu who looks full.

"Eh, it's good to say we. You're the Bay!" babble Luna.

"Nearly half of this was you all who ate!" sahut Loli's.

"Hehe, yes yes, don't protest that way." replied Bayu.

"Bintang brother did not join anyway? Not feeling well?" said Maharani who was seen walking closer to Kak Bintang.

"No! Don't know your friends yet. No one is talking either." replied Kak Bintang.

"Well, you know that was Rani Temenin Kak Bintang,"

"Udah is not papa. Want to go home now?"

"Yes, let's say something, sister!"

"I've just dared to smile with Rania. What if I don't exist?" muttered Ringga, but I can still hear it even quietly.

"Don't keep getting angry. Quickly enter yes, do not make me long miss." said I as I hold his cheek, the place where Kak Bintang's punch landed, and left a blue bruise. I stroked her, hoping that like a fairy that could make that wound disappear.

The lingga welcomes my hand. I rubbed my hand that was still holding her cheek. He closed his eyes, enjoying every caress of my hand.

"Can't you go home?"

"Still missing?"

He's nodding. I feel like I am reluctant to part with him like this. But how else, a time and place that does not allow it.

I pulled my hand slowly, but it still did not take it off. "Will be connected via HP? I want it this afternoon."

Although it felt heavy, he finally replied, "Okay, you be careful yes Rania ..."

I nodded, waved my hand at her, and walked away leaving her.

I almost fell asleep with Ringga to forget friends. How's Ryan? Didn't I just go with him?

I walked with a little run towards the front yard. And sure enough, it's deserted. Oh my God, they're leaving fast. Did they forget me? Or, I myself forgot them for being too engrossed with Ringga?

Tiiin up!

Motor honks sound. It came from a motor that was only a few meters away from me. I didn't see him just now.

Bruuum. The motor approached me. The face of the owner of the motorcycle was covered by a helmet. Not Ryan, not Bayu.

He pointed at a pink helmet of mine. "Now!"

Why is it on him? My inner.

I accepted it still in wonder.

"Ryan hurried home, his mother called. I told you to take you. No papa, right?" his voice was slightly blocked by the helmet he was wearing.

I nodded, wearing a helmet.

"Udah, up. Can you?"

I'm having a little trouble riding this high ninja bike. I had to hold his shoulder, for the rest of my hand. I fixed my skirt, so it wouldn't unfold later.

Grn, deg, deg.

Why is my heart beating like this? Is it because in front of me right now is, Brother Star?
