Wounded
Teeeeeeeeit ...! The long ringing bell that all the children had been waiting for. It ended today's lesson, all rushed to clear the book and all the other equipment. So do I. Moreover, Nava had told me that Kak Bintang again during the break had come here to look for me. And the result was zonk because I hurried out of class to look for Ringga.
And right now, I also have to get out of class before Kak Bintang finds me in this class. Without ba bi bu I went straight out of class and went to the motor park while waiting for Stevi. I walked half-run. And when it comes to the parking lot, it is still not too crowded by friends. They may still be relaxing in their class while chatting.
Time to send a chat to Stevi. I was worried that he would pick me up in class.
[Vii... I was on your bike. Just come straight here.]
I waited a while, my message unread. I leaned my body on Stevi's bike while waiting for a reply from her. Suddenly my phone rings. Stevie?
"Ran, where are you?"
"I'm in the parking lot, waiting for you."
"Geez, you go back to your class!"
"What's wrong?"
"Until the same fight with the upperclassmen, do not know who. Scribbles!"
I immediately ran away, returning to my class. What the hell's going on? Why did Lingga fight? Who's the big brother Stevi talked about? What could he be, Star Brother?
Many times I almost fell down, in my mind there was only a Ringga at this time. I'm afraid she's why-why.
Nah! Guess right. My steps came to a halt, looking at the crowd before my eyes. Some boys in my class tried to break up. There was Bayu, my brother Lingga who held the body of Ringga, he was involved overwhelmed to hold the Ringga. And Ryan, my class president, he's holding the Star sister who turns out to be a lot wilder. His feet kicked in all directions.
What's with those two? For a moment my mind was empty, but I regained my senses when I saw the corner of Lingga's lips bleed. I ran towards him.
"Yetoooooo!" my screams stopped the fight.
All eyes are on me. I saw Maharani, Lisa, Luna, Loli, Nava frightened to see the quarrel of Kak Bintang and Ringga. They held back tears, because even they could do nothing to break them.
"Enough Brother, enough! What do you want now? Ha?" selorohku on Kak Bintang. His anger seems to be starting to dampen. I turned my gaze to the Ringga. Depressing. I can't stand to see it. His uniform is a mess, his shirt is out of his belt, even the buttons of his shirt are loose somewhere.
"Ringga... You're not papa?" I said softly, hesitating to hold his injured left cheek.
"Please others disperse, this problem is enough we only know. Don't let the school know. Help me!" the ultimatum of the class leader was immediately obeyed. They all disbanded. With the exception of Nava and Stevi, they approached me. As for Maharani, I saw him approaching Kak Bintang.
"Ga, you go to the UKS first!" said Bayu who had been holding the body of Ringga.
"I'll take you.." I said slowly.
"Rania, send you to Lingga." said Nava.
"Pity of the Ringga.." - Timpal Stevi.
I immediately opened the Ringga, and I held his hand around my neck. I held her body. He was seen grimacing withstanding the pain, his right hand holding his stomach.
"Rania, I still need to talk to you!" The stars began to sound. Ryan has let go, he's closing in on me. His appearance also looks disheveled, but there are no visible wounds on his face.
"Nobody needs to talk!" me asserting him. I ignored him, I returned to meet the Ringga.
"Wait for Rania" he said, holding my arm.
I threw her hand violently, followed by my angry look at her. "Never do anything like this again!"
Of UKS. When it was time to go home from school, no more pickets to wait for the room. Bayu, Stevi and Nava had taken us to the doorstep of the UKS. They chose to wait outside to let me and Lingga be here alone.
Lingga sits on the bedside of the UKS bed. I'm looking for cotton and Betadine to treat the wound.
"Sick?", I asked as I applied the medicine on the reddened end of her lips.
"It hurts here" his words cornered me. Whether it was guilt or sadness that I felt right now, I could only be bowed. My throat was choked, I couldn't make a sound. Warm rolls fell on my cheeks, my eyes flooded unstoppably, my sobs echoed in the small room.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry.." I pulled my hands together, to cover my face. "Hw.. Hu.. Hu.."
"Don't cry..."
"Because of me, you're hurt like this. I told you not to fight, right?"
"True men will never break a promise."
"But why did you fight like that?"
"She, really shoot you?"
I was struck by the words of Ringga. Right, he shot me last night. I haven't answered it yet, I've been avoiding it all day. As if, I was afraid if I should say no to Kak Bintang. It is an unfounded fear.
"So right, he shot you?"
I'm nodding.
"You, like him too?"
I shook my head immediately, not wanting to think non-no of me. My tears fell.
"I wouldn't be happy if someone else liked you. Only I can. Point. You mind?"
I shove my head again. My tongue still feels faint to answer all the questions for the sake of the questions it throws.
"Then, why cry again? I'm not papa." he said as he rubbed the rubble that was still wetting my cheeks. Every stroke of his hand on my cheek felt so soft, warming, soothing. Then both of his hands grabbed my hands, grasping them. He was still sitting on the edge of the bed, and I was still standing in front of him. He looked up at my face, to look me in the eyes.
"I can't promise much. But, I ask you to continue to like me at any time. Okay?"
I can only nod. A small request from him. Love it anytime? That's what I'm definitely gonna do. But why, it still feels a little stuck in my heart.
She likes me. L like it. Are we officially dating now? Oh no! Haven't. He's not even asking me to be his girlfriend right now. He just asked me to always like him. That's a little weird to me.
But, why even Kak Bintang I did not know at all, suddenly immediately shot me. I asked him to be his girlfriend. Who am I? What is special about me for Star Brother? Is dating just messing around for her?
While Ringga, who from the beginning had lured me with all his friendly, sweet behavior, did not also ask me to be his girlfriend.
My little heart doubted it. Although today I have seen it with my own eyes, he fought with Kak Bintang just because of me. Whether she's jealous or something, I'm still confused.
Meanwhile, Lingga was still holding both of my hands. Head bowed. It was as if there was a heavy burden on his head. What is it, I don't dare to ask. We both just fell silent. Encourage each other with a tight grip.
