Doctor Riswan smiles. “ aya can save her leg.”

Niko was really relieved. Behind her Luki also felt the same way.

“But there is a possibility that Laura can not walk normally,” said Doctor Riswan. “ Aya should see the next development after surgery.”

Luki and Niko did not care if Laura could not walk normally as usual. The important thing is Laura can still use her legs. Even if Laura had to lose her leg, Niko would still love her. But Laura would be sad. Thankfully it didn't happen.

The sisters took Laura out. Niko looked at Laura's sleeping face. Niko held Laura's hand. “You will be fine,” he said slowly.

Luki immediately called her parents and told them the good news she had just received.

When Laura opened her eyes, she saw Luki was looking at her.

“ it's time you woke up,” uki said with a smile. “You have been unconscious for two days.”

“Kakiku....,” said Laura slowly.

“Your foot is fine.” uki smiled again. “Doctor Riswan managed to save him.”

Laura felt a little relieved. He saw a white bandage on his right leg. He was really happy that his legs could be saved.

“You want to drink?” ask uki.

Laura nodded.

Luki raised Laura's head carefully and gave her a drink.

“You don't look like a bum this time,” Laura said slowly to Luki.

 uki laughing. “You can joke. I'm thrilled. Well, this time it's not me who's like a bum. But Niko is really tangled. He takes care of you non-stop day and night. Just now I was able to convince him to rest.”

Laura clasped uki's hand. “I don't want to see him.”

 uki clucking. “Niko already knows everything. Stop making her miserable, Laura. You're just gonna hurt yourself.”

“You don't understand,” refutes Laura. “I can't be a part of his life.”

Luki decided to raise her hand in Laura and Niko's matter. “I think you should tell him yourself about it. I don't want to interfere in your affairs with him anymore. But you should know, I support it.”

“I won't tell you.” uki smiled secretively. “You like it. Niko likes you. You guys are together forever. It's simple, isn't it? You don't have to make it complicated.”

Laura shakes. “It's not that simple.”

“Then you guys should talk,” says uki while touching Laura's face slowly. “You must defeat your fears. You loved her. Tell him that. You don't have to be afraid anymore. Niko won't leave you no matter what.”

Over the next week, Laura tries to avoid meeting with Niko. He asks the sisters not to allow Niko into his room. Worried about the patient's health, the sisters finally comply with Laura's request. Niko could only wait for him outside the room. By the next week, Niko could no longer hold back her patience. When no one is looking after Laura, Niko goes into Laura's nursery.

Laura was surprised to see Niko. But then he calmed down. It is time they spoke.

“Sit down, Niko,” says Laura.

Niko sat down on the chair next to Laura's bed. “Why don't you want to see me?”

“I need to rearrange my feelings,” Laura bluntly.

“So..” Niko looked at Laura, “How are you feeling now?”

“I'm calmer now,” her smile expands slowly. “But... I still cannot accept you, Niko.”

Niko sighed, looking desperate. “What should I do so that you can see that I don't care whether or not you have a scar on your foot? Whether you still have your feet or not. Whether you will forever be disabled or not. You look perfect in my eyes.”

“I know,” replied Laura calmly. “But I can't see myself with you and fool myself that I look perfect.”

Niko moved to sit on Laura's bed. “I want to ask you something..” Niko looked Laura in the eyes seriously. “If my leg is deformed, not your foot, will you leave me?” Laura was silent for a moment. “Your questions are irrelevant. Your feet are not deformed,” the rebuttal.

Niko smiled. “But the answer remains no, right? You're not leaving me. I won't leave you either. ampai anytime.”

Laura tries another method to convince Niko to leave. “You have achieved all your dreams. Your life is perfect. You don't need my presence in your life. I want to ask you one important question. I want you to be honest with me. Is... will you wear a deformed diamond on your jewelry design?”

Niko understood where Laura wanted to take her talk. Slowly Niko's hand was raised, then grabbed the necklace that wrapped around her neck. Release of the necklace. Then she grabbed Laura's hand and placed her necklace on the girl's palm.

Laura looked at a strand of necklace with a small diamond. His forehead was fluttering in astonishment. “Why did you show me your necklace?”

Niko looked at Laura softly. “That little diamond on the edge of iron was the diamond I first cut. I made one small mistake. The first and only mistake I made. I made the diamond lose its light. No matter how many times I tried to fix it, the diamond remained flawed forever. Now, you're asking me if I'm going to wear a deformed diamond for my jewelry? The answer is of course not. The diamond you hold is worthless on any piece of jewelry. But that little piece of rock is precious to me. More than any diamond. I wear it every day. My life wouldn't be perfect without those flawed diamonds. My life would not be perfect without you.”

Niko leaned over her body and held Laura's face with both hands. “I love you. I love you, Laura. And I'm not leaving you
