Chapter 32's
Luki Rafael was thinking hard in her study. The clock is at 12:00. It's lunch time. Heart's fidgeting. His mind was filled with Laura's face. He still can't decide about his sister's relationship with Niko.
Luki doesn't like waiting. The long needle in his office pointed at the number one, five minutes had already passed. Luki stood up and walked out of the office. He told his secretary that he would be out of the office until the afternoon on personal matters.
On the way to the apartment, Luki sent an SMS to Niko.
Meet me at the apartment tennis court.
Bring your tennis racket. NOW IT'S.
An hour later, Niko sees Luki hitting the ball from the throwing machine. Niko doesn't know why Luki made her come to the tennis court all of a sudden. But judging from the message, it seems very important.
“You came.” uki stopped hitting the ball and turned off the ball throwing machine.
“You asked me to come.” Niko walked over to Luki.
“You play tennis, Niko?” uki looked at Niko coldly.
“Sometimes,” replied Niko. He still did not understand why Luki told him to come here.
“Come on my opponent.” uki did not let Niko respond and started serving the ball towards him. Niko reflexively returns the tennis ball Luki hit.
The two were involved in tennis for a while. They don't count numbers. The longer Luki's punch gets harder. Niko gets overwhelmed getting Luki's ball back. He felt like Luki was angry with him. But don't know what about.
The ball hit his left arm. “Argh!” yelled Niko. Uki yelled from across the field. “Did my punch hurt your hand?” “Ya!” Niko shouted back.
“Good!” uki grinning. “I don't regret doing it, because I did it for Laura. The blow was because you broke her heart years ago.”
Luki lost her concentration as a result of Niko's words. Biko's ball shot off a meter to his left.
“Laura realized my dream,” continued Niko again while panting.
Luki picked up the falling ball behind her and started to deliver a backlash at Niko. This time Niko replied with all her might and hit Luki's stomach.
“Arrgh!” uki groaned in pain holding her stomach.
Niko throws her racket and approaches uki. “I love him,” he said loudly. “I've loved it for eight years even though Laura wasn't by my side. And when I met her again, my feelings didn't change. It's even getting stronger. I love Laura, Luki.”
Luki also threw her racket and stood up. He's approaching Niko. “I just need to know how much you love her.now I know.”
Niko frowned in astonishment. “What do you mean?”
“There is something you need to know as well.” uki gulps. “Laura is my sister.” “What?” Niko was shocked.
Luki begins to tell the beginning of her meeting with Laura until she finally finds out Laura is her half-sister. Next to her, Niko heard Luki's explanation without saying a word.
“Do you understand now?” tanya uki ended her explanation. “ as her sister, I handed Laura to you. I want you to take care of her for the rest of your life. But, if you hurt Laura just a little bit, I'll do something worse than just a bruise on your left hand.”
Without looking at Luki, Niko immediately turned around and ran out of the tennis court.
Luki smiled. She's sure Niko must be seeing Laura now. Heart relieved. Laura deserves happiness.
Luki's hand reached into her pants pocket and pulled out a ring. The star ring she accidentally took from Laura's hand a few days ago when Laura fell asleep. She knew Laura would be looking for Niko to make a new ring. If Niko really loved Laura, she wouldn't mind the scar on Laura's leg. Luki decided not to tell Niko about it. Laura had to tell Niko herself. “Reach your happiness, little sister,” whispered uki with a smile
