Chapter 30's

Later that night, at the restaurant, Laura is getting panicked. He couldn't find Luki's ring anywhere. He asked his co-workers to find him. They're looking for Laura's ring all over the restaurant. The ring was not found. There were even some waiters searching the streets outside the restaurant, but it remained fruitless. “I can't get rid of the uki ring,” Laura said frantically to Maya.

Maya tries to calm him down. “Perhaps it is still in Uki's apartment. Have you looked for her in your room?” Laura shakes.

“Well, calm yourself. The ring of giving usi must be there.” Maya smiles.

Maya's right, Laura can't panic. Laura knows the ring means a lot to Luki. First gift. He promised to wear it every day. Luki must be sad if she lost it. But now he can't think about it. There are lots of orders for the restaurant. Laura will be looking for her ring in Luki's apartment room. He knew the ring must be there.

Laura got to Luki's apartment at about one in the morning. He ran to his room and turned on the lights. He looked around every corner of the room. The ring was not found. The last time he remembered still wearing it while shopping at the supermarket yesterday. His heart immediately went limp. The ring must have gone missing at the supermarket. Laura couldn't find him back. He's really panicking right now. She doesn't know what to tell Luki that her sister didn't see the ring in Laura's fingers. Luki must be disappointed.

There is only one solution. Laura made up her mind and rushed towards Niko's apartment. After one ring did not get any reaction, Laura pressed him down once more.

Niko woke up from her sleep. He heard the doorbell. He took his HP to look at the clock. At two in the morning. He's vaporizing wide. The doorbell rings again. Niko quickly got out of bed.

When he opened the door, he was still half sleepy. At first he did not believe his vision. Laura stood at the door of her room.

“Laura?” whispered.

“Sorry.” Laura could not hide her panic. “I know it's been a night once. You must have slept. I don't know how to. Sorry to wake you, Niko.”

Niko immediately realized full of panic in Laura's voice. “It's okay. Come inside. What's up?” Niko was really worried.

Both fingers of Laura's hands were trembling. Cold sweat ran down his forehead. “My ring is gone.” “What?” ask Niko confused.

Laura showed me her left hand, where the ring was supposed to be. “I've lost Luki's ring. I've been looking for him everywhere. In the apartment, in the restaurant, but still not found. I can't lose Luki's ring, Niko.” Niko understands now.

“I'm really sorry for disturbing your sleep. I don't know where else to go,” said Laura desperately.

Niko grabbed Laura's trembling hand. “Calm, Laura. I'll make the exact same ring that Luki gave me. I'll work on it as soon as possible. You don't have to worry.” Niko could not bear to see Laura was engulfed in panic and worry. He would do anything to get rid of all that from Laura.

Laura's breathing began to normalize. “I'll pay you. Whatever you want.”

Niko's smile expanded slowly. “You don't have to pay me.” “But...,” disprove Laura.

Niko shook her head. “I don't want you to pay me. I'll make the ring as fast as possible and give it to you.”

“Thank you,” whispered Laura slowly. He looked at Niko. Both of them were silent for a moment. “Ehm. You can call me when the ring is ready. I'll pick it up at your store.”

Laura leaves Niko's apartment in a hurry.

After Laura's departure, Niko immediately changed clothes and took her car keys. Not long after that, he arrived at the shop. Niko immediately went up to the third floor of her study. She started working on a star ring for Laura.

When David climbed upstairs six hours later, he was a little confused to see his boss at work. “You came in the morning,” he said to Niko.

“I didn't sleep all night.” Niko drank her third cup of coffee that day to keep her awake.

“I look exhausted,” comments David, then approach his boss. He saw the ring Niko was working on. David recognized. He made the same ring a while ago. “You made the same star ring I made?” “Ya,” Reply Niko.

“Is there a problem with my made ring?” david asked confused.

“You want me to help?” ask David.

Niko shook her head. “It's okay. I'll do it myself. You can do your other duties.” 

“Good.” David leaves Niko alone in his study. David's forehead is wrinkled. Lately his boss's behavior has been somewhat different. His boss used to hold his seven-star ring for a long time. Once, Niko smiled all day in her study when no one noticed. But his boss has been moody all day. David had never smirked the fickle emotions of Niko before.

The object of David's concern is working on the final stage of attaching a diamond in the middle of the star. When she finished, Niko examined her diamond ring again with a magnifying glass. Make sure the diamond in the ring is absolutely perfect. His neck was stiff because he worked nonstop all day. But Niko didn't mind at all. This was the first time Laura had asked for her help. Niko will do whatever Laura asks.

Niko looked at her watch. At 09.30. He estimated the distance to Lura's restaurant could be covered within an hour. She finds out Laura told her to call her when the ring is over, but Niko decides to bring it herself.

Around eleven o'clock, Niko arrived at the restaurant. He opened the door of the restaurant. A waiter greeted her and was about to take Niko to the dining table. Niko shook her head. “No, thank you,” said Niko while apologizing. “ come here to see Laura.”

The waiter understood. She knows Niko often comes to restaurants because Laura. “ aya will tell Laura then.” 

“No need,” sela Niko. “ aya will meet him directly.”

Niko walked towards the kitchen. From the glass door of the kitchen she saw Laura cooking spaghetti. Laura's eyes closed for a moment and her nose breathed in the scent of spaghetti sauce. Then he smiled slowly. Niko smiled at him. His hand touched the glass door in front of him, as if it were touching Laura's face. Niko was sure she would never get tired of seeing the aura work.

Niko took a deep breath, then opened the kitchen door. Laura turned to see who came into her kitchen.

“Niko!” shocks surprised.

Niko walked over to Laura. He put the star ring he had made all night on the kitchen table. “Your star ring.”

Laura took the ring box off the table. He opened it, took the ring and put it on the middle finger of his left hand. He examined it for a moment. But he knew the ring was exactly the same as his.

“You should have called me,” Laura said.

“It's okay,” Niko stared at Laura wistfully. “I'm happy to do it.”

“Niko....,” said Laura suddenly. “I'm sorry I pretended not to know you. I didn't mean to do it. Sorry.”

Niko smiled. “You don't need to apologize, Laura.”

“You've eaten?” laura asked, while holding back her fast-paced heartbeat. “I can cook something for you. I want to reply to your help.”

Niko had not eaten all day, but her stomach did not feel hungry after seeing Laura. “How about you stop walking away from me in return?” Laura was silent and could not answer.

“Or at least be friends with me again,” suggested Niko again.

Laura nodded. “Good. You can be my friend.” After what Niko did for her, Laura feels Niko deserves her wish.

Niko laughed happily. “Really? Thank you, Laura. You've made me really happy today.” actually Niko wants more than just a friend, but at least being Laura's friend can be the beginning of their relationship.

“Laura has an order..” was a waiter interrupted Laura and Niko's conversation.

Niko smiled. “I'll go now.moga your job smoothly.” “You too,” reply Laura.
