Disconnecting

Nayra secretly sends a message to Aditya and tells him that Alina is going home to Bogor tonight.

After the Maghrib prayer, Aditya was immediately tancap gas to the house of Rama. Aditya wants to apologize to Alina before Alina leaves.

Arriving at Rama's house, Aditya sees Mang Dudung being stuffed Alina's suitcase into the trunk of the car. Shortly after, Rama and Alina came out of the house followed by Nayra who carried Kyara, Santi Mbak and also Bi Surti.

How shocked Rama and Alina were when they saw Aditya coming. Aditya approached them.

"Would you like to come here?" rama asked with a ketus.

"I want to talk to Alina for a second, Mas"

"Nothing to talk about anymore! Get the fuck out of here!" rama shouted while pointing towards the gate.

"Alina, please give me a chance to talk to you! Just for a second.." Aditya pleads with Alina.

"alright. I happen to want to talk to you too"

"So soon, brother!" alina told Rama. Rama nodded his head.

Alina takes Aditya to the garden in the yard. They both sat on a long bench.

They kept quiet for a while. Then suddenly Alina took off the ring that was on her ring finger. Alina grabs Aditya's hand and puts the ring on his palm.

Aditya was shocked.

"This ring I give you back" said Alina.

Aditya looked at the ring in his hand then looked at Alina.

"You mean, you broke off our engagement?"

They both look at each other. Aditya did not expect that Alina would break off their engagement.

"Didn't you love another woman? So we better break up!"

"I didn't think Mas. Why do you like Nayra? My own sister-in-law"

"Alina, there's actually something you don't know yet.."

"Me and Nayra we used to date when we were in college"

"What??" This time it was Alina who was shocked.

"I'm sorry that I never told you that story"

Aditya tells Alina everything about his relationship with Nayra in the past, until Nayra leaves him without news and marries Rama.

Without feeling Alina shed tears hearing Aditya's story. Suddenly there was a sense of pity sneaking in his heart.

"Alina, I originally came to Jakarta just for Nayra's sake. I want to fight for my love. I want to take it back from your brother's hands. But I failed.."

"Nayra prefers your brother over me. And I also accepted his decision. I want to go back to Jogja but your brother's in my way. He said he wanted to help me become a great architect to return the favor because I once saved his life.."

Aditya took a deep breath and continued his story. Alina listened carefully.

"Then I met you. The more days I feel that you've fallen in love with me.."

"Then I thought, if I could marry you, I would always be around Nayra even if I couldn't have her"

"What?? So all this time you were just using me??"

"I'm sorry Alina"

"Why are you so mean to me? Am I just a doll for you that you can play with? I am also a human. I have a heart and a feeling. Have you never thought about my feelings?"

Alina clenched her hands together and then hit Aditya's shoulders many times.

"You have the heart! And I love you so much. Why are you so mean to me?"

"Hit Alina, hit until you're satisfied! I deserve it"

"Mas, have you not forgotten about Nayra yet? Is there not the slightest bit of love in your heart for me?"

There was no response from Aditya.

"Look at my eyes! And tell me you love me! I'll forget everything, and we can start over.."

"Alina I'm sorry. All this time I've hurt your heart too much. And now I don't want to hurt you anymore by lying to you.."

Aditya stood up and walked away leaving Alina alone. Alina stared at Aditya's departure with tears.

Then Aditya approached Rama and Nayra who had been sitting on the terrace watching them.

"Aditya what did you do to my sister? Are you not satisfied to hurt her heart? Are you deliberately playing my sister for revenge on me because I took Nayra away from you?"

Aditya was shocked.

"I'm sorry, but I don't hold the same grudge as you. I just want to be near Nayra"

"So it's true that you still love my wife?"

Aditya.

"I'm sorry Mas. I'm sorry that I've hurt you all this time. Tomorrow I'll take my resignation to the office. And I'll stay away from your lives forever"

"Mas Adit, what are you saying? What about Alina?" ask Nayra.

"Alina has broken off our engagement Nay. He had already returned this ring" Aditya showed the ring he had in his hand.

"What??" Nayra was shocked to hear Aditya saying.

"I'm going Nay, Mas Rama. May you always be happy. Assalamu'alaikum"

After Aditya left, Rama and Nayra rushed to Alina who was still sitting in the park. Rama hugged his brother who was crying.

"Prophe Alina, you must be strong. Maybe Aditya is not your soul mate. You have to let go.." Rama rubbed Alina's back gently.

Nayra could not hold the sebak in her chest. He also cried watching the scene that was in front of his eyes at that time.
