Honesty That Pain

That night Rama could not sleep. Mind fucked. He tried to remember the events of that night but still he could not remember anything.

'Oh my God, I'm almost crazy! My head feels like it's about to break! Why can't I remember what happened that night?' he murmured in the heart.

Rama glanced at the clock on the wall of his room. The clock is twelve at midnight. Then Rama saw Nayra who was asleep in his chest.

'If I really got Sofia pregnant, I can't imagine what will happen.. Nayra definitely could not accept that reality. And he's gonna leave me. Oh my God, don't let that happen. I can't afford to lose Nayra'

Rama clutched Nayra's body.

'O God, what should I do? I can't tell Nayra everything. I can't see him getting hurt. He just felt happiness.. I don't want to make her cry anymore'

Rama slowly shifts Nayra's body then gets out of bed. He swung his steps into the bathroom and then took the water. After that he prayed sunnah to ask for guidance from Allah SWT.

After the prayer, Rama came out of his room carefully and walked to his study.

Rama entered his study and pressed the light switch. He sat down at his desk and opened his laptop. Rama wants to find information about 'DNA tests' on the internet.

The sound of the dawn adhan. Slowly Nayra opened her eyes. Nayra was shocked when she realized that Rama was not at her side. Nayra let her gaze to all corners of the room but did not find the figure of Rama.

'Where is Rama? Tumben woke up early in the morning'

Nayra got out of bed and stepped into the bathroom. Nayra opens the bathroom door and searches for Rama there.

"Not here either"

Nayra also left the room. The door to Rama's office was wide open. Nayra rushed there. How shocked Nayra was to see Rama falling asleep while sitting in his chair.

'Oh God.. Why is Rama sleeping here?' Nayra approached Rama and wished to wake him up.

But suddenly Nayra's gaze was fixed on the screen of Rama's laptop that was still on. Nayra intended to turn off the laptop, but she accidentally read the title of the article on the laptop screen.

'DNA Test During Young Pregnancy?? Why did Mas Rama read the article about DNA testing?' ask Nayra inwardly.

"Mas.. wake up Mas!" nayra cried while shaking the shoulders of Rama.

Rama opened his eyes.

"Darling?"

"Why is Rama sleeping here?"

"Emh. Last night I couldn't sleep, so I came here to do something. But I'm sleeping here"

"Why is Rama browsing about DNA testing?" Nayra looked at the screen of the laptop.

Rama gasped. He realized he had forgotten to turn off his laptop.

"Oh this, I'm just a prank" Rama immediately turned off and closed his laptop.

"Let's pray dawn first!" Rama stood up and pulled Nayra's hand towards their room.

Nayra felt that something was wrong. Since coming home from the office yesterday Rama turned quiet and just locked himself in the room. Every time Nayra asked, Rama only said that his head was dizzy.

After the dawn prayer, after kissing the back of Rama's hand, Nayra ventured to ask again.

"Mas, why do I feel like there's something Mas's hiding from me?"

Rama surprised. His heart pounded after hearing Nayra's question.

Nayra looked at Rama sharply.

"Please be honest with me!"

Rama tried to remain calm in front of Nayra. He tried to smile.

"There's no dear. I don't have a problem"

Rama turned his eyes away from Nayra's gaze.

"Don't lie to me! I know Mas Rama is hiding something from me.."

"Mas, did not Mas Rama ever say to me, the two most important things in a relationship are honesty and trust. Without both the relationship will not last long, sooner or later it will surely be broken into pieces"

Rama was still silent while bowing. He couldn't tell Nayra everything.

"Say me, Mas! Am I not your wife? I deserve to know everything"

Nayra was curious.

"What's really going on? Tell me! Don't make me curious!"

"Sorry baby, but I can't" Rama shook his head. His eyes are starting to water.

"Please Mas! I deserve to know. I won't calm down before I know the truth" Nayra continued to urge Rama.

Rama holds both hands of Nayra.

"Please promise me that you won't leave me after hearing everything! Promise Nay!" rama said with a clear face.

"Yes I promise. Now tell me!"

Rama gathered all his courage to tell Nayra everything. Rama took a deep breath and then started to tell stories.

"Yesterday at Sofia's office came to see me.."

Hearing Rama mention Sofia's name, Nayra's heart pounded.

"She gave me a doctor's certificate stating that she's positive for pregnancy"

Nayra widened her eyes. He couldn't believe what he had just heard. Rama's words were like a pain that cut his heart. Without notice there are grains of clear crystals that fall from the eye fertilizer Nayra.

"Dear forgive me. Please don't cry! I didn't mean to make you cry" Rama intended to wipe away Nayra's tears, but Nayra quickly shook Rama's hand.

Rama gasped.

"You have the heart.. You can betray me with that woman. I really don't think you're that low.."

"It turns out what I was afraid of really happened. Are you tempted by Sofia while in Singapore?"

Rama shook his head.

"Not so dear, listen to my explanation first!" Rama held both of Nayra's shoulders firmly.

"That night all the staff and I were invited to our client's anniversary. And that time everyone urged me to drink"

"What?? So you're drinking liquor?"

"I'm really khilaf baby. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have drunk that illicit drink. Because of that drink I got drunk and.." Rama could not continue his sentence.

"And you slept with Sofia?"

"I don't know, honey. I don't remember anything. When I woke up, I knew I was in the apartment. I don't remember anything that night. I also don't remember who brought me back to the apartment"

"I'm really disappointed in you!"

Nayra stood up and took off her face and ran into the bathroom. Nayra locked the bathroom door and cried all over there.
