Move Room

As soon as he opened his eyes, Rama felt all his body hurt from the thugs' blows. Rama looked towards the wall clock. The clock has shown at half six in the morning. He also tried to wake up.

Rama walked to the bathroom. He saw his face full of wounds through a mirror hanging on the bathroom wall. Even though his face was battered, he still wanted to go to the office. He rushed to shower, change his clothes and perform dawn prayers.

Suddenly someone knocked on the door of Rama's room while he was wearing a tie.

'It must be Nayra' Rama thought.

"Come in"

Nayra opened the door. Nayra was surprised when she saw Rama had bathed and dressed. Nayra came in and approached Rama.

"Will Rama go to the office?"

"Yes Nay"

"But Mas Rama has not healed. Is it not as good as Mas Rama take a leave of absence first until Mas Rama's wound is healed?"

Nayra finally helps Rama wear his suit.

Rama took his briefcase and took Nayra's hand out of his room. Nayra just complies. They walked down the stairs and then walked to the table. There was already Sister Santi who was accompanying Kyara for breakfast, and Bi Surti who was preparing food at the dinner table.

At the cooking time, Nayra had told Bi Surti that last night Rama had been hit by a gang of thugs.

Rama and Nayra sat at the table.

"Then why did Mr Rama go to the office? Why not just rest at home?" ask Bi Surti.

Nayra brought food for Rama. Then they had breakfast together.

After returning from campus, Nayra laid her body on the bed for a moment to unwind.

'Aduuhhh.tru! Mama's staying here tonight. I must hastily move to Mas Rama's room.' Nayra murmured inwardly.

"Bi Surti!!!" shout Nayra.

"Yes Bu" Bi Surti ran over to Nayra in her room.

"Please help me move my belongings and clothes to Mas Rama's room ya Bi!"

"Alhamdulillah.At last Bu Nayra would sleep one room with Mr. Rama..."

"This is for a while Bi. You want to stay here tonight"

"Oohh.. So Miss Maya wants to come here?"

"Yes Bi, Mama is already on her way here. That's why we have to gercep. We have to move everything in before Mama comes"

"Yes Ma'am"

Bi Surti helps Nayra empty the room and move all her clothes and belongings to Rama's room upstairs.

That is the custom that Rama and Nayra have done for two years if his family wants to come to visit his house. Rama and Nayra always pretended to be a happy and harmonious couple in front of the whole family. But despite sleeping one room, Nayra chose to sleep on the sofa and let Rama sleep on the bed alone. And Rama just obeyed.

Nayra also asked Bi Surti, Santi and Mang Dudung to keep their mouths shut. And they can only obey the direction of their employer.
