Bara drove his car at moderate speed while watching the streets of Jakarta that he had not seen for a long time. Even for years she just kept staring at the streets of America filled with sexy women.
Bara stopped his car when an angkot stopped in front of him. It looks like the angkot was dismissed by prospective passengers. Bara also waited for the passenger to get into the angkot.
"It wasn't the woman yesterday" Bara said as she watched the woman help a middle-aged mother ride the angkot.
After the mother entered the angkot, the vehicle continued its journey. Bara was puzzled as to why the woman did not climb into the angkot as well. Was he more concerned with mom than that?
Even now the woman is standing in the heat of the day waiting for the angkot to pass again. Bara smiled at how great the woman was at withstanding the heat. Now, Bara sees there are still women willing to hot without caring about him, other than Apsara.
Bara moved his car forward and stopped him right in front of the woman. He got out of the car and approached the woman.
"We meet again" said Bara in a cold tone.
The woman was immediately surprised and looked over. Instantly he immediately gawked when he saw who was before him.
Oh no, that guy from yesterday. Surely he wants to collect compensation, the woman's mind.
"Why is your face so pale?"tanya Bara flat.
"Sorry sir, I don't have any money. The money I used yesterday to buy ingredients for selling chicken noodles, so I don't hold any money at all" she explained.
Bara glanced at some plastic bags lying under the woman's feet. He frowned at the sight of how much he had bought, and the woman carried him alone.
"I take you, after all it seems like no angkot is passing by anymore" Bara said.
"HUH??" The word came out of the mouth of this woman because she was shocked by Bara's words.
"Don't let me change my mind" Bara asserted with a sharp gaze.
The woman immediately wavered, she immediately put her groceries into the back seat, and she sat down next to Bara. Bara also drove his car away from the place.
"What's your name?"ask Bara with a focused look at the road.
"Asmara"answeet Asmara.
"Where is your house?"ask Bara.
"Near the textile factory"balas Asmara.
Bara also turned his car towards the textile factory called Asmara.
"Sir, where was your car yesterday? Why did your car change so quickly last night?"tanya Asmara astonished.
Bara only smiled faintly at the question from the woman next to him.
"Call Bara not sir. I'm not your boss. And the car problem yesterday, the car is being repaired in the workshop" Bara replied.
"The repair cost is very expensive. Jeez.."say Frustrated romance.
"I even got scolded by the boss"sela Bara.
"Boss?" Asmara looked at Bara with curiosity.
"I work as a personal assistant to a businessman, and the car belongs to the boss" Bara said.
"Astagfirstulloh, so I wrecked your boss' car? Surely your salary money was cut by your boss" Asmara said with a tone of regret.
Bara laughed inwardly as his lies made the woman next to him babble and apologize time and time again. Jeez Bara always makes up a sad story. Even his parents just don't know don't even care if there's a broken car. Because if there is a damaged car then they just need to replace it with a new one.
"I'm sorry, I'm not feeling well with you. What will be the fate of your family if your salary is cut by your boss" Asmara said.
"Be quiet, your voice makes my ears hurt" Bara said, instantly making Asmara silent in an instant.
After traveling for 20 minutes they finally arrived at their destination. Bara stopped his car right in front of an alley across from the textile factory. A densely populated and somewhat slum. Asmara also dropped her groceries from the Bara car.
"Thank you for the ride" said Asmara who hard-earned to carry her groceries.
Bara saw the woman was in distress but apparently, he himself did not care if the groceries complicate his life. Without speaking Bara directly snatched some plastic bags from the hands of Asmara.
"Eeehh.."desis Asmara as Bara snatches her groceries.
"Just put it there" Asmara said pointing to the floor.
Bara looked around him, a simple tenement house, even if sold could not be equated with the price of the watch he was wearing.
"Oh yeah, what do you want to drink?"ask Asmara.
"Anything" answered Bara briefly.
Asmara went to the kitchen to make Bara drink. Bara was sitting in the living room because there was no sofa or chair.
"This drinking. There is only water" said Asmara gave a glass of water.
Bara frowned seeing what the woman was proposing. So difficult was the life of Asmara, until he only gave Bara a glass of water. Bara received the glass without saying anything until there was not a drop of water left in the glass.
"Assalamu'alaikum Kak"call a girl in high school clothes to enter the house.
"Waalaikumsalam, have you come home Dek?"asmara answered extending a hand when her sister was about to regret it.
"Udah Brother. That who?"ask the girl.
"That's the man who yesterday's car Rusakin's brother" whispered Asmara.
Her sister immediately glared and her body stiffened. The one who saw it immediately looked annoyed.
"Are you guys going to keep whispering?"rebuked Bara with a cold voice.
The two younger brothers instantly fell silent and turned towards Bara with an embarrassed expression.
"Oh yeah Bara, introduce her to my sister her name is Almira" Asmara said introducing her sister.
"Hi Kak"sapa Almira then greeted Bara.
Bara was surprised when the girl experienced it, she became reminded of the Manja Nanda. It was Nandah who was the most meek among the five brothers.
"Al, I'm shopping. Now help your brother nyiapin chicken noodles for sale later in the afternoon" said Asmara.
"Okay sister, I change clothes first" said Almira then went to her room.
After that the two brothers made noodle dough together. She kept looking at the two women.
"Can I help?"ask Bara.
"Oh no need, later your expensive clothes become dirty" said Asmara.
Quickly Bara took off his suit, then rolled up the sleeves of the shirt to his elbows, and approached Asmara.
"How do I make the noodles?"tanya Bara flat without looking.
Asmara was surprised when Bara was actually next to her. He's never been this close to a man.
"Hey"tegur Bara who broke the Asmara reverie.
"Oh yes, you put the dough into this grinding machine" Asmara said giving instructions.
Bara also did what Asmara said without making a sound at all. Cold men that's what Amara's thinking today.
After the noodle dough is finished, Asmara also makes chicken stew in the kitchen with Almira.
"Sister, I want to ask for money to pay for the semester" Almira said as she stirred the chicken stew.
"Later Deck, now there is no money" replied Asmara.
"So if your sister has no money, I don't have to go to college. Money from selling noodles is just enough to eat everyday" reply Almira.
"No. You should go to college. Quite a sibling who just graduated High School, you have to pursue your ideals to become a doctor. Not that it's your promise to the late father and mother" asserted Asmara.
I heard the conversation of the two women. Sounds sad according to him. It's amazing, even though the economy is difficult, but they have extraordinary goals.
