The Primadona Malam

The Primadona Malam
Ignoble Decision

Time keeps passing. Imas is still silent about the existence of Niram if asked by Halim. It makes the man even more frustrated.

Every time he came home from work, Halim always took the time to look for Niram. Armed with a photo of his nephew in a mobile phone gallery, Halim combed through the streets of the capital in search of the whereabouts of Niram. The sturdy man did not hesitate to ask everyone he met on the side of the road.

"Yourf!"

Halim threw her breath out violently. He then sat down on the sidewalk while slipping his legs together. Tired really hurt him. However, Halim is still reluctant to go home before being able to find Niram.

In-house. Imas kept walking back and forth. The more days, Halim's attitude towards him grew colder. Imas had tried various attempts to make Halim believe, if he had nothing to do with the disappearance of Niram. However, it seemed like the man who married her nine years ago, never believed her words again.

Uuh, what should I do? There's no way I'm asking you to pick up Niram. Anyway, I told you that Niram ran away from Imelda's place. Jeez ...why my life became such a mess, lamented Imas in his heart.

"Ouch!" yelp when feeling pain in his stomach.

Imas glanced at the calendar attached to the wall of the family room. The number rounded red ink was already passed a week ago. That means, the time of HPL is over. And now, all of a sudden his stomach feels wrapped around.

"Is it possible that the baby will be born today?" murmured Imas while rubbing his stomach that is getting cramping.

"Ray! Rayyan!" Amas called his son.

From inside the room, Rayyan came in a hurry to the middle room.

"What's up, Ma?" ask Rayyan.

"Hurry up your Papa's phone. It seems like the baby's grandpa wants to come out soon," pinta Imas to his son.

"Where's the HP, Ma?" Rayyan asked again.

"Aargha!"

Imas screamed loudly while squatting. The heartburn in his stomach was no longer able to hold him. Finally, Imas could only signal through his index finger to answer Rayyan's question.

A week of living with Yura, Niram finally understood about Yura's real work. Unintentionally, Niram had caught Yura doing strange activities with a person of the opposite sex through a video call. He also often sees Yura being ushered home by some unknown man Niram.

Last night Yura was escorted by a man who was driving a luxury car, tonight was delivered by a young man in a sports car, and last night Yura was delivered by a foreign man in a Limousine. Until the various sights, Niram drew conclusions if Yura is indeed a call woman.

"Sir, may I ask you something?" niram said as they were enjoying a talk show on television.

"Ask!" tell Yura, still busy peeling nuts as a friend watching.

"Actually ... what makes MBak do the job? I-I mean I-I, highly educated Ma'am. A bachelor of economics. With the title you have, why did you choose to work like this?" niram asked, be careful.

Yura smiled thinly. His face looks ordinary. Not at all offended by Niram's words. For a moment, he took a deep breath recalling the dark times of his life.

"Title alone will not fill the stomach, Nir," said Lirih Yura.

Niram knitted his two eyebrows. "You mean, Mommy?"

"Just like you, I'm also a country girl. Growing up in a village with sufficient economic conditions. Because following the steps of a man, I decided to study in this city. Nahasn ... I'm stuck promiscuous with that guy. And ...."

Yura stopped her sentence. His face looked up, in an attempt to keep his tears from falling.

"Not to continue, Ma'am. I'm sorry if I've been exposed to old wounds, ma'am," said Niram.

"And .. when I was pregnant, the man didn't want to take responsibility. He instead wants to eliminate me," Yura replied in a voice that started to hoarse.

"What-what?!" peekkik Niram's.

"The man I love the most, the man I adore the most, he was so willing to devise a plan to finish off me and my future son. Luckily I was able to survive someone's help. However, the baby in my womb cannot be saved" Yura continued, bitter.

"W-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-was that guy the one in the photo in Ma'am's room?" ask Niram again.

"Huhaha, um,..."

Instead of answering, Yura laughed out loud. Making Niram frown even more.

Ih, is he out of his mind? He was crying. Now that he was laughing instead like that, Inner Niram stared intently at Yura.

"Ish, I laugh instead, Ma'am," frowned Niram as he pursed his lips.

"Hahaha, sorry, Nir .. your abis is so funny" Yura replied.

"So funny, Ma'am." Back Niram scowled.

"Yes-iya .. sorry," replied Yura.

"So, that man?" continued Niram.

"The guy you saw in the picture, he's my twin brother. Name's Yanuar. Because of Yanuar, I decided to go to college and find a job. Yanuar is mentally retarded. It is true, I decided to study in the city on the grounds of wanting to follow a lover who also lives in this city. However, my decision to get a degree and get a good job, it was based on my desire to finance Yanuar's treatment. I want her to be healthy and live a normal life like a child her age" Yura said. "However, fate has brought me to an abyss of humiliation. After surviving an assassination attempt, I was trapped in a night world. The help given by a middle-aged woman, it turns out to demand a fairly expensive reply. I was hesitant at first, but because my life was already sinful, and I needed a lot of money to treat my sister. I finally followed the conditions of the woman who had helped me" he added.

"What's the condition, Ma'am?" continued Niram.

"The woman who saved my life turned out to be a pimp. He asked me to be his adopted son. The adopted child who can be used as a naf'su satisfaction for the be'lang nose men," Yura replied with a bitter smile.

Jem!

Yura's reply instantly reminded Niram of the person who had sold him.

"It turns out, our fate is not much different, Ma'am," muttered Niram.

"You mean?" Now it was Yura's turn to be astonished by the words of her new friend.

"I came to this city to change the economy of my parents in the village. However, who would have thought, my aunt's vulgarity has been the cause of my bad luck," replied Niram, slowly.

"Aunty's review how do you mean, Nir?" Yura asked back.

Niram took a deep breath. It felt so heavy when it came to recounting that pain. However, if Yura alone was capable of being tough, why couldn't she? think Niram.

"My mother and her father sold me to a woman I didn't know who I was. I was held in a room after they finished trading. I don't know what kind of place it is. However, as I peeked through the window slit of the holding room. I'm starting to understand that place isn't a good place. I had escaped from the clutches of the bad guys, but the bad thing is, the person who said he wanted to help me, it was he who nailed me that night," said Niram.

"I'm sorry about what happened to you, Nir," Yura said, clasping Niram's hand.

"Already, Ma. Everything has passed. I don't want to remember that anymore" replied Niram.

"Yes, you're right, Nir. Now, we just have to think about our future. There is no point also we are constantly lamenting our bad luck" Yura said.

"Yes, Mother. And I've decided what my future will be right now" Niram added.

"Hmm, great. I'm glad you can get up" Yura replied. "By the way, if you may know, what is your decision for your future, Nir?" tanyakanya.

"I'll work like a working Mommy!" niram replied expressionlessly.

"What?!"
