MTDF #49 - Application For Kate
...POV AUTHOR...
"Do you want to be my stepmother, Kate?"
Kate gaping wide upon hearing Sansa's request, she even held her breath and it made Sansa chuckle.
"Kate, I need you to be honest, do you love Daddy?" Sansa asked, which made Kate immediately swallow, she seemed to want to answer but after a while Sansa waited, she did not speak. "If you shut up, I assume the answer is yes" Sansa said.
"No, Miss Turner," Kate's great-granddaughter later made Sansa immediately frown.
"You sure? Daddy said, you kissed," Sansa's tease immediately made Kate's face blush, and it didn't go unnoticed by Sansa. "Ah, you love Daddy, your eyes say so!" sansa's strangulation makes Kate feel embarrassed, like a thief caught red-handed while in action.
"I'm sorry, Miss Turner. But, that... Em, just the past, I know, I don't deserve Mr. Turner," exclaimed Kate who made Sansa sluggish.
"You deserve to be Mrs Turner, Kate." Sansa said sadly, walking and sitting on the sofa, Kate followed. "Did you know? Actually Daddy loves you a lot too, he likes you."
"I think it's just a momentary feeling, Miss Turner," Kate said, noting that she had been ignored by Dorian, even though she always showed special attention to her superiors.
"Actually, Kate...." Sansa showed her sad face. "Daddy loves you so much, but he feels unworthy of you, because... Because...."
"For what, Miss?"
"Because Daddy's sick, Kate. Heartache, Daddy's afraid he'll die like Mommy and you'll be sad." Kate was astonished to hear Sansa's words, she was so surprised of course also sad.
"Miss Turner, I hope you're joking" Kate quivered.
"I'm telling you because I feel sorry to see Daddy, I just want to, Daddy to be happy for the rest of his age. But as it turns out, you're engaged.." again Sansa put on a sad face.
"I was forced to accept Golri's proposal, Miss Turner. I'm almost 35, but I'm not married yet. My family urged me to get married quickly" Kate's great-granddaughter bowed sadly.
"What's his name?" peekot Sansa's.
"Golri Bardi" Kate replied.
"The guy's handsome and smart, Miss Turner," he said.
"Is he more handsome than Daddy?" Sansa asked, she looked at Kate intensely. The one in question could not answer and only blushed.
"Alright, Kate. I know, your fiancee must be very handsome. Ah, I'm sure of it," Sansa said, then she moved out of her place. "Then I go first. See you, Kate."

"Haha .. haha ...." Alex could not stop his laughter when Sansa told Kate about her proposal which she said 'not rejected not accepted'.
After his father's office, Sansa goes to Alex's office especially since today he has no classes. Emily is also busy with her boyfriend and Sansa does not want to disturb because now she has her own partner
"Sweetheart, that's not the way to propose to someone" Alex said in the middle of his laughter.
"But Kate seems to love Daddy, too, Baby. I think I proposed to her the right way" Sansa said. "Am I not a good boy now?"
"Yeah, very good. Let's just hope Kate breaks off her engagement to the Gorilla."
"Russia, Alex. His name is Golri," ralat Sansa quickly.
"Yeah, that... Sorry, Sweetheart. Looks like age is starting to take away my memory." Sansa glared at Alex's dramatic remarks.
"Oh yeah, Sweetheart. There's something I really want to talk to you about, it's Elaine's problem."
"What else is with him?"
"Actually, her company is in danger of bankruptcy and she's asking for my help. Are you letting me help him?"
"No!" without thinking twice, Sansa answered that straightforwardly, Alex was stunned, but then he smiled and tried to understand Sansa's feelings. After what Elaine did, it was natural that she would respond.
"All right, Sweetheart."
