MTDF #35 - What's Wrong?

"Alex, did you betray Sansa?" Dorian's growl made me gawk.

"Braying how? You're crazy, huh?" I also growled angrily at Dorian.

When I heard Sansa passed out at Elaine's house, I was already very anxious and frightened, especially when I tried to wake Sansa, Sansa did not come to my senses until I immediately ran her to the hospital.

"That woman..." Sansa said in a soft voice. "He said you slept with him." Sansa tears her eyes when she says that, something I haven't done since I fell in love with Sansa.

"Elaine said that?" I asked sharply and Sansa nodded. "He lied!" I cried firmly and then I wiped her tears gently, I looked into her eyes with my eyes, I hope she sees honesty in my eyes.

"Don't lie, Alex!" Dorian continued, even he pulled my neck but I brushed it aside, I will not let Sansa misunderstand me.

"I'm not lying, Dorian! I could swear!" I cried with confidence.

"But .. but he said so," said Sansa.

"No, Honey. I only met Elaine when talking about work and also during her birthday party, even then I was only a moment," I assured Sansa.

"But he said that night he spent the night with you, hiks .. hiks.." My heart was like slashed to hear Sansa's sobs, my heart was like a cry, and where could I possibly get my heart to sleep with another woman while my heart loves Sansa so much?

"Look...." I gripped Sansa's hand tightly, I looked her in the eye deeply. "Since I've been in love with you, I've never been interested in even glancing at another woman."

"Maybe you were drunk that night." accused Dorian of making me growl.

"For years you've known me, have I slept with a woman because I was drunk?" I asked sharply and immediately Dorian fell silent because I had never done anything like that. He seemed to be breathing heavily, Dorian knows me very well.

"I'll never make love to a drunk woman, Sweetheart" I told Sansa. "If I was going to make love, I would have done it consciously, but I didn't, because I love you. My whole soul and body just want you."

"So .. The gray woman lied?" Sansa's great-grandson and I nodded firmly.

"But why?" Sansa looked sad.

"Maybe she's jealous, honey," Dorian continued. "Don't think about it, let Daddy and Alex take care of it."

"Daddy believes in Alex?" Sansa asked and I saw Dorian nod with a gentle smile.

"Daddy knows Alex inside out, we've been friends since he was young, Daddy's sure he wouldn't betray you." I'm moved to hear Dorian's defense of me.

"You're the one talking to him, Dorian. I don't want to see the face of the man who made my wife cry, even to the point of fainting" she said. "And yeah, I'll also cut off our cooperation, I don't want to deal with people who slander me."

"Alex.." muttered Sansa, she looked at me wistfully. "Let's lose you, Baby. Just explain to her that you no longer love her, don't bring personal business to work" she said, leaving my heart full.

"No, Sweetheart. Whatever makes you sad, I'll stay away from her."

I kissed Sansa on the forehead gently and then I stroked her cheek. "Don't be sad, I'll never betray you. Trust me, Elaine or any other woman, not even a hint of interest in my eyes." Sansa smiled faintly and nodded in confidence which made me instantly sigh in relief.

Shortly after, Dr. Chloe arrives, and she takes Dorian away with her.

I kept Sansa company, but because I also wanted to know Sansa's situation, I followed Dorian.

Just as I was about to walk into Doctor Chloe's room, I was shocked to hear what she said.

"We must immediately set the schedule for Sansa's heart surgery, Dorian. Soon!"
