MTDF #48 - Will You Be My Stepmother?

Today I went to Daddy's office to apologize for what I said. Alex was right, I should have let Daddy be happy, especially all this time Daddy gave everything for me until he forgot his own happiness.

Arriving at the office, Kate greeted me kindly and she drove me to Daddy's room as usual.

"Thank you, Kate," I said kindly.

"Same-sama, Miss Turner," replied Kate who made me chuckle as she kept calling me Miss Turner when I was already Lady Ghan. But it's okay.

I glanced at Kate's ring finger embedded in her engagement ring, hm, I had to do something like that.

"Hey, Honey. Tumben you're here not to tell Daddy," said Daddy.

"I want to talk to Daddy about something" I replied.

"I'm sorry" Kate said, we just nodded.

"Dad, I want to apologize...." I whined spoiled at him, Daddy looked at me confusedly with next to a raised eyebrow. "I took back my words" I said.

"Which one?" Ask Daddy.

"On stepmom," my great-grandson and I saw Daddy's enlarged pupils. "I don't think it's okay to have a stepmother, I'm also curious about what it's like to have a mother" I said, which made Daddy look at me sadly.

"Don't be sad, I've been happy all this time hanging out with Daddy, even though Daddy can't braid my hair like my friends' mothers, I'm still happy" I said with teary eyes.

"What exactly did you mean by coming, honey?" Ask Daddy later.

"I bless Daddy with Kate" I said, which made Daddy gawk. "I'm serious, Daddy could marry her, take her home and make her my stepmother, Alex would love to have a mother-in-law."

"Kate already has a fiancee, Sansa," said Daddy and his voice looked sad.

"Oh, Dad. Just fiancee, I'll have Kate decide on her fiance, as long as she loves Daddy."

Daddy was down and I saw his face blushing. "Wait, does Kate love Daddy too?" Askaqua.

"Would've...." Daddy answered listlessly.

"Oh, Daddy used to ignore it because Daddy was afraid to make you sad if Daddy remarried." My heart was full of Daddy's answer.

"Oh, Daddy...."I immediately rushed into his arms. "I'll fight for Daddy's happiness, I promise" I said.

"No, it's too late. Kate is engaged to a young businessman, her age, handsome." Daddy's face looks withered.

"Does Daddy think Kate still loves Daddy?" I asked full of search.

"I don't know" he answered.

"Did Daddy ever have sex with him?" the question is important, because usually women find it difficult to forget the man who once warmed his bed.

"No, we just... Just kissing," Daddy replied shyly.

I gawked, why did Daddy look like Alex when he blushed like this?

"Daddy is old, why blush so?" I tease while laughing.

"Don't mock, Sansa. Did you forget your husband is also an old widower?" Reply Daddy and I laugh in a moment.

"All right, now I'm going first. I've got a lot of work to do" I said, then kissed Daddy's cheek.

"Be careful, dear." Daddy also peeped at me.

Yeah, I have to be careful, because my job is to figure out who Kate's fiance is, so I can get rid of her. And I would do that if Kate loved Daddy.

I approached Kate who was in her study, she seemed surprised by my arrival.

"Is there anything I can do later, Miss Turner?" Ask.

"Do you want to be my stepmother, Kate?"
