One month later.

"All right, I'll be there soon!" Zean hung up his phone after he finished receiving a phone call from Zyl. The man quickly got up from his seat and stepped out of the room.

Just as the door opened, Zean was struck by Lyora standing before him with her hands clenched in the air.

"Lyora's? What are you doing here?!" asked Zean while raising her next to his eyebrows.

The similarly surprised Lyora immediately lowered her hand then smiled clumsily.

"Oh, sorry sir! I was just about to knock on the door to deliver these files to you and tell you that at 4pm we will have a meeting with Mr. Akiko of Japan to discuss the project in Osaka." reply Lyora quickly while showing some of the maps she brought.

It so happened that during this one week David was on leave, so Lyora was the one who replaced all the duties of the man.

Yeah, it doesn't feel like a month Lyora's been working at Zean's company as an accomplice to David.

Zean initially refused Lyora's request to work for her company, because she was so worried about the woman's condition, which was still in recovery.

Even for the sake of proving that he was really responsible, Zean to offer all the facilities and luxuries of life to Lyora after knowing that the woman's fitness business has gone out of business, he said, as long as Lyora undoes her intention to work.

"I'm going to the hospital to see Grandpa. Zyl just told me Grandpa was conscious. After the new hospital I'll go back to the office and get the files to see Mr. Akiko." explains Zean. The man then looked at the clock on his wrist. "I'd better go now!"

Zean, who had just left Lyora, turned around and looked at the woman questioningly.

In the nursery, Lyora sat beside the gurney while looking flat at Mr. Wildan who was currently lying weakly on the bed.

The condition of the old man seemed alarming with various medical devices attached to his body.

Mr Wildan only regained consciousness after a week ago of heart surgery. Even so, he had not been able to interact as usual.

"Why don't you just die Sir, wouldn't it be better if you died? That way you no longer need to feel guilty." sissed Lyora after previously making sure the door of the room is completely closed so that no one heard her words. While Mr. Wildan just flinching.

"Ah, I think I know why you don't want to die so soon. You must want to see me and Zean back together, right?" Lyora chuckles.

"Are you crazy Zean?! Why can you take such a foolish action?!" it felt that Zyl could not bear to not curse the brother who was currently sitting next to him in the waiting chair located not far from Mr. Wildan's nursery.

Zyl is so angry when she finds out that Zean is back in touch with Lyora just because she feels guilty about her.

"Then what do you think I should do to make up for Grandpa's mistake with Lyora, huh?!" reply Zean no less fierce. "You didn't forget, didn't you, that grandfather and bastard had already ruined Lyora's future?! Because of their actions Lyora lost everything! The future, effort. Even without anyone knowing it turned out that Lyora had leukemia all along!"

"What?! Leukemia?!" Zyl looked surprised.

"Yes, leukemia!"

"If I may suggest, you better be honest with Ellina about Lyora before it's too late. Because if Ellina finds out from someone else it will hurt her a lot!"

After saying that Zyl immediately got up from sitting down and left Zean alone.

After visiting Mr. Wildan, Zean and Lyora rush to an elite downtown club to meet their client, Mr. Akiko.

The business meeting at the club was not a first for Zean. I don't know why this time it feels different.

Like there was something stuck in her heart.

But soon Zean dismissed that feeling by thinking positively.

Mr. Akiko who arrived first immediately offered a drink to Zean and Lyora. Then the three began to engage in serious conversations about the project they were about to undertake.

I don't feel like two hours have passed. The main discussion is over. But when Zean and Lyora were about to say goodbye, Mr. Akiko prevented the two.

Mr. Akiko asked Zean to accompany him for drinks for a while because he had returned to Japan tomorrow morning.

Zean, who was not happy, agreed to the request after getting approval from Lyora. New time shows at 6 p.m. Zean was sure Ellina wouldn't be angry if she came home a little late.

When Lyora was about to issue a rebuttal sentence, Zean had already silenced the woman's lips with a demanding kiss.
