"Where have you been? Why did you just come back?" ellina asked with a trembling voice holding back the cry.

While his eyes stared blankly at the ceiling of the room with nanar.

The shadow where she had severe bleeding last night flashed back in her memory. The husband who was supposed to take care of her instead locked her up and made her almost lose their future child just out of blind jealousy.

"I'm sorry, Ellina. I'm sorry!"

Zean didn't answer Ellina's question. Because now guilt is over him. He tightened his embrace while continuing to cry awkwardly behind the niche of the wife's neck. The man was really sorry.

Anger and hatred for Devan made him act impulsively, until he unconsciously hurt his own wife and their future child.

"I beg your pardon, Ellina! I'm sorry." again Zean apologized but Ellina just flinched.

Zean ventured to raise his head, looking at Ellina with a face wet with tears.

"What do I do to make you forgive me?" zean asked in a desperate tone because Ellina had not responded to his apology. He could see the woman crying too. Zean understood that Ellina was hurt for what she did.

"I have nothing to do with Devan. I've said that over and over again but you don't trust me." Ellina said flatly without returning Zean's gaze.

"Yes I know, I was wrong Ellina. I'm dark in the eyes because I'm jealous to see that bastard touch you. You don't know who he really is. She is..."

"He's the one who's ruined your relationship with Lyora, isn't he? The woman you loved in the past." Ellina turned her gaze to Zean. There was pain when she mentioned Lyora's name.

"Yes. Thas right. Therefore I do not want my relationship with you to be ruined by it." Zean replied quickly as he wiped his tears and stood upright beside the cage.

Ellina smiled bitterly.

"I've heard all your stories from Zyl. Lyora is innocent. So, what are you gonna do after this? Are you going back to him?"

"What do you mean Ellina?" asked Zean with a dislike expression when he heard the question.

"I mean, don't you forget that we started a marriage without love? All happened because of compulsion. Because I contain your seed. The seed of a man seeking impingement for a broken heart. So, I wonder, are you going to go back to your true love or not?"

"Enough Ellina!"

Zean growled behind his tightly clenched teeth. His clenched hands held back the anger of being offended by his wife's words that had been slashing everywhere.

"Don't hurt yourself by such stupid questions. Our marriage was made because of compulsion. But my love for you is not compulsion. I knowingly love you. And to me you're not an impingement."

Zean's words hang in the air. It creates a momentary silence between them.

Before long the door opened. They both drew their attention to look at the door. It turns out that the obstetrician in charge of helping Ellina when she almost miscarried last night entered with the nurse who accompanied her.

The doctor asked Zean for permission to check on Ellina.

Of course Zean allows. Even the arrival of the doctor was not wasted by the man. Zean immediately asked the doctor about the condition of his wife and when his wife could be allowed to go home.

After the doctor's departure, Zean sat in the chair next to Ellina's cage. She was quite relieved when the doctor said that this afternoon Ellina could already go home.

Zean gently rubbed the head of Ellina and kissed the hand of the woman he loved. While Ellina was still silent, she seemed reluctant to respond to Zean's treatment of her.

"So, have you forgiven me?" zean's question made Ellina take a quick glance at him, then turn her gaze back to another direction.

"You haven't answered my question" Ellina replied briefly.

"Are you going back to Lyora?"

Zean took a long breath. Then he immediately stood up and moved to a sitting position beside Ellina's feet on the mattress. The man lowered his head and kissed Ellina's flat stomach affectionately.

"Ellina's. Why should I go back to Lyora if you're the woman I love? I love you and our son. I would never leave you for another woman if that's what you're afraid of. Believe it."

Ellina looked back at Zean. Staring at the hazel bead was fixed.

"What's the guarantee if you won't turn away?"

Zean was speechless looking thinking but as fast as lightning he replied.

"If I betray you, you can kill me, Ellina."

"Unfortunately I'm not a criminal" Ellina replied quickly making Zean chuckle softly.

"Who said you weren't a criminal? After you stole my whole heart, you still said you weren't a criminal?"

It turned out that Zean's seduction was able to make Ellina's face meet red instantly. The woman turned her face away while holding back the smile on her lips.

Zean who knew that obviously did not waste the opportunity to get an apology from his wife.

"So, have you forgiven me, baby?" ask Zean.

Ellina turned back towards Zean.

"I'll forgive you if you promise never to drag me down and lock me up again like yesterday."

The words of Ellina that were so striking made Zean grimace in his heart. Guilt hit him again, creating an ironic smile on his lips.

"Yes, I promised Ellina. I will never hurt you again." Zean replied steadily. He fused his little finger at Ellina's pinky.

"Promise?" ask Ellina to make sure.

"Promise."

"I'll forgive you."

"really? Do you really forgive me Ellina?!" ask Zean not to believe it.

Ellina nodded slowly in response.

"Thank you Ellina. Thanks you! I love you."

Ellina returned Zean's embrace with a warm smile.

"I love you too."
