Me and some ghosts decided to start a search for evidence in Lana's room. Almost the whole day we searched Lana's room but like Peter's, we didn't find anything suspicious that we could turn up.
We then search separately, just as they close the secret there must be a gap we can find. I decided to go to Peter's house, besides looking at the situation and check out Grey's doctor's office, hopefully there's a clue I can find there.
The other ghost examined every room on every floor in the hospital, every room bright or dark.
When I arrived at Peter's house I saw him talking to a man.
"So how do you want this case to be solved by a doctor?"
"Oh detective, this is also purely an accident. My mother's eyesight was not good, plus she had killed her husband accidentally, all of which made her a bit chaotic,"
"But your mother's case wasn't fooling around with the doctor, at the funeral she killed someone and left two other people seriously injured."
"The victim's family is suing Mrs Mary, not to mention she's also in court for making a scene in a public place."
"Your choice is not many doctors, Mrs Mary can be sentenced to prison for a long time or ...," the detective hanged, waiting for Peter's reaction.
"Or what?"
"Or you can make a statement that Miss Mary is memory loss and willing to have your mother treated in a mental hospital,"
"What's? But my mother is not a crazy detective! Only his eyesight was in trouble,"
"Do you think the victim's family will accept that excuse? That the shooting was an accident?" Peter was silent to the detective's rant.
"Okay doctor, please consider your decision. We'll be waiting for you at the office tomorrow." The detective shook Peter's hand and then left him.
Peter walked into his mother's room, Mary was sleeping after being given a sedative. Peter clenched his hand, furious at this situation. He should also be blamed, in which case he was too slow to respond to his mother's complaints.
Now it's too late, it feels unable to see his mother taken to a mental hospital but more heartless if he is in prison. Peter then went to his father's study, sat there quietly. Tonight with a heavy heart he must decide something that determines the fate of his mother.
It was also sad to see Peter's gloomy face, no more sweet smiles on his face these days. But I have to be strong, the plan is already in place, I can't back down. Everything has to be resolved.
After sitting for hours Peter finally stood up, he walked towards the bookshelf beside the fireplace. Peter reached for one of the books, and then something happened. The carpet in front of the fireplace moved down, apparently under the fireplace there was a secret room underneath.
Peter walked into a safe in the room, he took something from the safe, but I no longer paid attention to it because my attention was on the rows of drawers in the room.
I can only peek at some files but I'm sure this is where they've been hiding all their job data all along, this is where all the evidence is. I need to see Sam right away, only he can help me right now.
Tomorrow Peter's going to the police station, it's the best chance we've got. Peter walked out of the room, I noticed which book was the opening lever of the secret room. A blue-covered book that was on the third shelf from the top, the sixth row from the right end.
I rushed to the hospital, I'm sure Sam was looking for me there. Sam was sitting on a park bench when I got there.
"What are you doing here?" much
"Doing something natural, a family of patients who are resting in the park," replied Sam
"Well, you're right, how's Ramona?"
"He's in a safe place, far away from here,"
"Oh thank goodness,"
"So how? Have you found out where the evidence is?" ask Sam
"Yes, they kept it in a secret room in Peter's house. They're storing that data manually, so it's gonna take a long time if we're gonna send it via email."
"They're very clever, they've taken everything into account. If they keep it on the computer, the police will still be able to track its track record. But by manual means, when something happens they just burn it."
"There may be a way" said Sam
"How's it?"
"We'll find time to get into the room, grab some files and hand them over to the police who can be trusted. After that let the police search Peter's house,"
"Tomorrow Peter must report to the police station, they will process the charges against his mother,"
"Well! That's our chance!"
"Yes, but I'm not sure there's a cop we can trust. Yesterday I saw Peter talking to a detective, I don't know what his name is but it looks like the detective can put pressure on Peter. It seems he doesn't fully believe Peter's words,"
"But you remember his face?"
"Yes of course,"
"Then tomorrow we steal the evidence first, then leave it to me." I smile at Sam's spirit, I hope everything goes well.
That morning after his mother had breakfast and had taken a bath, Peter returned to give him a sedative and he prepared to go to the police station. He had prepared a checkbook that he had taken from the safe last night, he was sure that all these problems would be solved with money. Before going back she checked the condition of her sleeping mother.
"Rest Mom, I'll get it all done." Peter kissed his mother's forehead then passed and went to the police station.
I gestured to Sam who was lurking from behind the bushes in the park, Sam then ran across the park, sneaking into Peter's house.
The house is big but the housekeeper is only three people, a cook, a driver and someone who takes care of the park so it is not difficult to sneak into Peter's father's office.
After opening the secret room we immediately opened some drawers where the files were stored. At first glance Sam read some files and then choose which ones are considered to attract the attention of the police.
After tucking the file under his shirt, Sam immediately slipped out of the house. Without wasting any time we went to the police station, I showed Sam the detective I saw the other day.
Apparently Peter and some other people were in the detective's room, they were talking seriously.
"If ... you knew my mother well, she couldn't have intentionally done any of that" Peter said
"It's precisely because we knew your mother that we proposed that she be treated in a psychiatric hospital" said a bearded man.
"The mental hospital? I don't accept it! I want him in jail!" a young man shouted, preparing to throw a fist at Peter.
"Take it easy Jack!" snapped the bearded man
"Sorry Jack, but how about I offer you some funeral money?" Peter spoke while taking out a checkbook from his pocket.
"What's? You cocky! My father went to your father's funeral to pay his last respects and this is what you did?"
"You insulted me Peter! You cherish my father's life for a few dollars! *******!"
Jack then raised a fist into Peter's face making the edge of his lips bleed, Peter will only reply when the detective enters the room and then separate them. Several police officers entered the room holding Peter and Jack.
"Go home Peter, it seems like the situation is out of control, they hate you." whispered the detective.
"I'm going to stop by your house this afternoon to inform you of his decision."
Peter said nothing, grabbed his jacket and left annoyed. When the detective was about to return to his room an officer approached and gave him a large envelope, curious the detective opened the envelope and was surprised to see the contents.
Some photos, transaction data, order list, what is all this? New case? There is no name or return address only a mobile phone number, hmm who is this mysterious sender?
