The Other Side's

The Other Side's
The Past of Sandy

"Have you not taken a shower?" ask Radit.

"RADITT.." cried Netra.

"Haha, this stinks. How would Sandy be aware that there is such a smell," Radit laughed.

"Huh, I don't want to talk to you anymore" Netra said as she turned her back to Radit.

*****

"Dit," call Sandy.

"Eh Sandy is conscious" Netra said, looking at Sandy.

"You're gap, aren't you?" ask Sandy.

"You should think about your condition, San. Look at your wounds" Radit said, pointing to Sandy's wounds.

"Udah gapapa really," said Sandy.

"San, is she really Aunt Ira?" ask Netra.

"I was confused too. She didn't even know who she was and what she wanted. But if you notice more clearly he used a Aunt Ira's scarf to tie me up yesterday" Sandy explained.

"Ah yes, I remember. It is as if it is not foreign. So what is Aunt Ira? Or the closest person? Or maybe Aunt Ira has a child?" ask Radit.

"To my knowledge, Aunt Ira was always moving on her own. But I never knew if she had relatives or even children by her side" Sandy said.

"San, you still haven't told the story of Aunt Sarah's continuation at that time and when you were sick, I'm asking now" Netra said.

"Yes, yeah. I'll let you tell me" said Sandy.

"The day before that exam, I got a call from someone, but I also didn't know who it was. From his voice I could tell it was Aunt Ira. But I still can't digest it if Aunt Ira's alive. At 2pm I was finally able to sleep after thinking about the phone last afternoon. But when I was just asleep, I heard a loud door-shattering beacon. Suddenly the person who framed you yesterday was already in front of me and I was drugged using a drug that I didn't know what it was. My vision was blurred but I could still faintly see the person smiling." Sandy told me everything clearly.

"Then did you see his face?" ask Netra.

"I couldn't see his face clearly because it was covered in a mask, I only saw it when I started to faint, it was vague" Sandy said.

"Did he look like Aunt Ira?" ask Radit.

"I can't be sure it's the same or the same thing" Sandy said.

"Oh yeah, regarding the scarf, what was the relation of the scarf that was sent to your house at that time with Aunt Ira?" ask Netra.

"Ra, that scarf, the last scarf Aunt Ira used. And that scarf was the cause of Aunt Ira's death.

FLASHBACKS

"I'm not going to die here. Radit, Aunt Anna, and Om Pras will find and save me" Sandy said.

"Silent boy, they can't do anything. Because if they come I'll take off this rope and you'll be freefall from this 50-story building. Hahaha," said Aunt Ira.

"Don't move Sandy, don't move. It'll just add weight and kill you more" Sandy said.

The restraining rope began to move because it was not able to hold Sandy's weight. Sometimes Sandy held back and adjusted her breath so as not to increase the burden.

"Stop, Ira. Sandy has nothing wrong with you. He's just a child and you can't make him a victim for the actions of his parents" said Mother Anna.

"Tante Anna, Om Pras, Radit," cried Sandy.

"Sandy be quiet, you will fall if you move too much" said Om Pras.

"Stop there Anna, or I'll let go of this rope and let this kid freefall" said Aunt Ira.

"Ira, please let Sandy go" said Mother Anna.

"Stop. I'll take off this rope if we move one more cent" said Aunt Ira.

Mother Anna did not want to stop advancing and Aunt Ira began to slowly let go of the rope. Sandy started to come down little by little.

"Yeah, Stop. You can't do this" said Mother Anna.

Aunt Ira started to step closer to Sandy and she tripped over the rope. Aunt Ira fell and the restraining rope began to fall off. Fortunately the rope was immediately held by Om Pras and Mother Anna so that Sandy did not fall from that height. However, Aunt Ira had to accept his recompense. His scarf got stuck on one of the balconies of the building and left him strangled to death.

"That's spooky. I can't believe there's anyone as bad as Aunt Ira. And his death, hiyy I got goosebumps," said Netra.

"I still clearly remember the incident. Until finally Mother Anna decided to take care of me and since then I called Mother Anna as Mother. Because she was like a mother to me" Sandy said.

"San, I really don't think it's Aunt Ira. His death was as tragic as that and less likely for him to live. Even then, his evacuation was difficult as he was stuck on a fairly high floor. And he certainly didn't survive. I don't think the person who terrorized us is Aunt Ira" Radit said.

"You're right, Dit. Let's find out who it is" Sandy said.

"I want to come too" said Netra.

"Huh, little kids don't have to go along" Radit said.

"I'm not talking to you. Huh," said Netra.

"Sandy, I'm coming, yes" he said, begging Sandy.

"Yes-yes, Ra," Sandy said with a smile.
