The Obsession of the Enthusiast

The Obsession of the Enthusiast
RG 56

After Kasep and Farida's family arrive, Nirmala and Kevin decide to leave the hospital and take a walk in a nearby mall.

All this time they have never walked alone. It was a lot of considerations such as awkward so spectacle or conversation materials of people around. But for now after all things had improved, Nirmala was already unconcerned.

The important thing is Kevin is nearby.

While in the car heading towards the mall, Nirmala glanced at Kevin who was calmly sitting in the passenger seat while staring out the window.

Just sit sweetly and both hands are on his thighs, like a submissive child contemplating many things.

The look in his eyes was a little glaring, making Nirmala tempted to stroke his cheek because it was very rare for Kevin to behave that late.

“Sayang..” call it.

Kevin was a little surprised, looking at Nirmala with a questioning look, but no words came out of his lips. It does not seem to be fully connected to the real world.

“You tired?” ask Nirmala.

Kevin smiled and grabbed Nirmala's fingers, then he kissed slowly and he clutched tightly. The smile on the young man's lips fully said without a sound that he was tired.

“Or do we just go home?” ask Nirmala again.

“No need, I need a little refreshing,” said Kevin.

Refreshing in a crowd place seemed a little strange. But for Kevin, he needs to see a lot of people to cheer up.

He's actually fretting.

Others were relieved, but new problems arose...

Is he ready to be a father?

He didn't even know his father who died when he was a child. What he remembers is the mother who often hassles and panics overcome all the problems of his father. So in his mind at the moment,

Would I become a father, I would trouble Nirmala with all the absurd problems I often face? Even my son will be affected.

Why do such thoughts arise?

For Kevin, the situation he faces today is already similar to his childhood scene when he sees some women coming home asking mom to hand over a father who is in hiding. As Kevin recalled that time, the horde of women were the children of various Bosses and Magicians, their clothes looked glamorous and expensive, and they asked Mom to divorce from dad.

After that Kevin did not remember what they said to Mom because Mom immediately kicked them out.

Now it was Nirmala who cleared up all the mess, patiently standing by him in the worst of times. Parting with that woman was hell.

Kevin was afraid that he would trouble Nirmala.

But he did not want to tell Nirmala his turmoil. So he needs to shift his mind to something else.

If they go home, Nirmala will quickly find out that Kevin is upset.

“Mala,” call Kevin. Now the call is already without ‘jobatan’ Aunt.

“Hm,”

“I want to learn to drive a car,”

Nirmala hasn't responded. “Hem,” murmured the woman later.

“Not really cool I'm sitting in the passenger seat,” grumbled Kevin.

“From yesterday you thought of it?” Nirmala wondered how the owner of the handsome face of the world insecure just because he was sitting in the passenger seat. But Kevin does have the trait of always wanting to please the person he loves. And ‘diladeni’ is not in its dictionary.

“Neither anyway,”

“Yes, later learn driving, as long as.”

“Account?”

“Do not use my car,”

“Loooh?”

“Iya I'm sick of this car 5 years, darling. Males only if you are beretin-baretin,”

“Dih, already negative thinking first. Not necessarily I beret-barretin, who knows I can directly,”

“Yes it is impossible to directly, Lah... It's different with riding a motorbike,”

“Ya I've pinjem kasep aja,”

“Mobil Kasep it... instead of the former microlet it is?”

Kevin grinned, “Seru right?!”

“Ya still have to be careful, Kevin,” Nirmala fell silent, next he said, “I think about it first,”

“I need to know the detailed history of Kasep car. Have transported how many hundred passengers, have been involved in accidents or not, how many years change the Oil, KIR Test is still valid or not, continue it is illegal or legal vehicles? That means he didn't help the car out of the riots, did he?”

Kevin gawked while staring at Nirmala.”You are very complicated deh...” muttered Kevin.

“Kevin, everyone knows you're sloppy. So I have to make sure you're okay,”

“I'm not a child,”

“You little boy for me,”

“Keep you now feel like my mother?”

“Yes this is just my opinion that more experienced life longer than you, you know the difficulty of driving a car, I know not good when involved in problems on the highway,”

“That's the risk, I'm a motorcyclist who in fact is more dangerous than a car,”

“Driving a car is different from driving a motorbike, because the lives of passengers are also in your hands,”

“Yes you just pinjemin your car if you feel I am not safe riding a car Kasep,”

“You can recommend me another safer car you ride,”

“Not there,” Kevin is getting upset.

“Yes have not had to learn to drive,” said Nirmala began to emotion.

“Just know-tau I can drive,” grumbled Kevin.

“Be careful you don't try to hide something from me!”

“This is just about driving a car, not planning a robbery! From Korlantas Polri, there were 146,046,666 vehicles in circulation throughout Indonesia as of January 2022! That means a lot of people drive! Car driving is not rare!”

“It's up to someone else, I don't care! Anyway if I judge the car is not safe, you do not have to learn to drive! Also the place of study should be safe!

“Safe place of your version just on top of your mattress,”

“You just sign up for driving school!”

“Cupu really why should I sign up for driving school?!”

“End of discussion!”

“Eh, not yet End! Hold on!”

Okay. their spats as a couple have already started. With a big gap between motherly Nirmala and all the anxiety that should not be necessary VS Kevin whose young soul is still wandering without identity.

But, against Kevin, Nirmala showed her true identity. Women are more expressive.

When facing her ex-husband, Jaka wanted to bungee jumping upside down just Nirmala did not protest. There was indeed a considerable feeling of anxiety, but when Nirmala issued her opinion to Jaka, the man was furious. After that whatever Jaka did, Nirmala was just supportive.

“Udah to Mall, Here! Want out or what?” muttered Nirmala while scowling.

“Serah,”

“No need to use code, you are not a girl!”

“If I say whatever yes is up! I've been lazy,” Kevin threw his face out the window. Like a craving boy is not bought by Yupi.

Nirmala silence.

Counting patience to 10.

Then,

“Yes already out, while I think you want to learn to drive a car or not,” said Nirmala

“I don't need your approval, I just said I want to learn to drive, don't ask for an opinion,” grumbled Kevin.

“Don't be stubborn, Kevin!” exclaim Nirmala.

“I'm not a kid you can ban!”

“Ya already, already!! If you learn to drive a car, I learn to drive a moge! How?!” exclaim Nirmala.

Kevin was heard shrieking softly, he took a breath and was held in the chest. It seems he was in shock. “I..”

Then the guy fell silent. Various shadows ‘if this-if it’ danced in his brain.

“Come out, I also want to think about your permission to drive the motor or not,” said Kevin finally.

And, finally that night they were dating in the Mall. With a frown at the thought of the vehicle problem.
