THE NIGHT THAT MISSES THE SKY

THE NIGHT THAT MISSES THE SKY
Chapter 8. Childbirth Process

When you are tired and disappointed, then you are learning about sincerity. Disappointment is one of God's ways of saying, "I have something better for you." Smiling when disappointed and being patient when unappreciated are two things that make me feel tired from having to pretend. Tiredness must be there but he will slowly disappear but the effort from fatigue will never be lost for those who we provide benefits.

Dusk is brought to the delivery room. The woman said that she wanted to be treated by Doctor Surya. One of the midwives who knew Dusk was a patient of Doctor Surya and called him.

Hearing the midwife say if the patient named Dusk will give birth, Surya

become startled and head straight for the room where Dusk was. Surya saw the woman was pensively holding back her pain.

After that Surya asked one of the nurses to help Dusk. The woman was asked to lie in bed for the patient. Aided by midwives, Doctor Surya examined the contents of Dusk after hearing his complaints. After doing the examination, Doctor Surya asked Dusk to sit back.

"Senja, I've done a check on your womb. Looks like you're really going to be the lahiran. It was opening two. Since this is the birth of the first child, it may be a bit as long. You just move to the treatment room. Once an hour there'll be a midwife or I'll check on her myself."

"I want a normal hand, Mom. To quickly recover," said Dusk in a soft voice.

"We try to be normal. Don't mind much. You need to relax. I'll stay first. I have an operation."

"Good, Mas. Thank you," said Dusk.

Surya left Dusk in that space alone. Half an hour later, came Riri's mother. Looking at the weakly lying Dusk, he immediately approached.

"Senja, how do you feel, son. I was contacted by Doctor Surya. He said you were here."

"sickness, Mom. If I have to leave forever, I beg you to take care of my son. He has no one but me."

"Senja, why do you think so. Pray that everything is okay. Don't despair."

"I'm tired, Mom. The eight months I spent were heavy. I think I want to give up. If only I didn't remember any children, I might have killed myself" said Dusk.

"You can't give up that way. Life goes on. You have to prove that you can go forward with anyone's help."

Ms. Riri recommends Dusk to walk in the nursery room to speed up the opening.

After tired of walking, Dusk sat on the sofa. Riri's mother followed her by sitting next to Dusk. The woman held her waist while grimacing.

"Is your stomach hurting? Or should you have an operation?" ask Riri's mother.

"I'll try to be normal first, Mom. Than I read less risk"

"You're right, Dusk. However, if it is not possible to be normal, a caesarean section is also not a problem. Times are sophisticated. Everything is easier" said Dr. Surya. I don't know when the doctor came in.

"For women who give birth normally, it will recover faster and experience less pain after giving birth than those who give birth through cesarean section. This condition is the reason why mothers give birth normally more quickly allowed to go home from the hospital. That's what the doctor said."

"Caesarean is done if the patient experiences one condition that makes the doctor decide to perform labor by surgery is when it turns out to experience symptoms of pre-eclampsia. When blood pressure suddenly rises and the body swells."

After doing the examination and it turned out to be four openings, Doctor Surya returned to examine the other patients first.

Riri's mother asked Dusk to sit and rubbed his back to the hips of Dusk. The woman looked more and more grim.

"Sleep here. Let me wipe his back," said Ms. Riri.

"I can't sleep, Mom. It hurts so much ..." said Dusk.

Seeing the twilight that continued to whimper and grimace, made Mother Riri become sad to see it. Without feeling her tears flowing. Riri's mother could feel the pain that Dusk was experiencing at this moment.

Dusk stood up and looked down at the edge of the bed. The woman put her head on the edge of the bed. Riri's mother rubbed back and hips Dusk.

"Or you take a shower first. Let's make it better for her."

Doctor Surya reentered at about seven p.m. In the aid of midwives, the doctor examined Dusk. Doctor Surya said the opening of the twilight uterine passageway had been 6. Wait until the opening of the new eight enter the delivery room.

"The pain is getting worse, my. Is it any longer?" ask Dusk.

"The larger the opening, the faster the contraction will occur with a longer duration. When the opening reaches 3-4 cm, you begin to enter the active phase. The active phase begins when the cervix has opened about 3-4 cm and the period of contraction is increasingly fixed. The active phase or the start of the opening from 3–10 cm, normally lasts 1 hour/addition of the opening. You will feel more pain before entering the opening 10," said Dr. Surya.

"What should be done to reduce this pain, Mas?"

"Try active walking in the room, for a quick opening. Squatting position can also relieve a little pain."

"Is there no cure for the pain, Mas?" ask Dusk.

"If you choose a normal delivery will indeed experience this phase. Or you can reduce pain by sitting on a gym ball. During the opening process. You will feel something pushing up the pain to va*gi*na. To relieve the pain sit on a gym ball. Follow the natural waist movement. To the front, to the side, or to the back slowly."

"Alright, Mas. Is there a gym ball in this hospital, Mas?"

"There's provided. I'll have the nurse take her."

"Alright, Mas. Thank you." Thank you."

"Either. Twilight, you should take it easy. Don't mind much. If the pain increases you can take a deep breath, or squat."

"Well, Mas" said Dusk slowly while enduring the pain.

Doctor Surya left the treatment room Dusk. I'll be back in two hours to see the woman's progress.

Riri's mother approached Dusk and hugged him. The middle-aged woman's tears rolled back down her cheeks. Riri's mother could not bear to see the moaning Dusk endure her pain.Shadowed her son who was struggling to give birth.
